Dr. Britt Westbourne on Crutches

In case anyone wondered what the heck they missed when they saw Dr. Westborn on crutches, here’s the scoop… Soap Opera Digest informed fans today that actress Kelly Thiebaud has injured herself in real life. The TV villain broke her femur and the writers decided to incorporate her injury into the script.

Ron Carlivati wanted to write in as if Frisco may have had something to do with Britt falling in the parking lot. I like that Britt is afraid of Frisco, and that he is being such a hard ass for Maxie’s sake.

General Hospital Blog wishes Kelly a speedy recovery!

Is Caleb Morley Really Dead?

Today John McBain faced off with General Hospital’s newest villain, Caleb Morley for the sake of saving Sam. Caleb had Sam held at Wyndemere, convinced she was his wife Livvie and was determined to make her his bride. John, with the help of Lucy, was able to kill Caleb and save Sam from his captivity. Relieved, John and Sam left the scene and asked Lucy to follow. Lucy decided to stay behind and deal with the flood of emotions she was experiencing from all of this. Lucy swore up and down that Caleb was a Vampire, but John disproved her theory when he pulled out fake fangs from Caleb’s dead body. He explained to Lucy that Caleb Morley, whose actual name is Stephen Clay, was a mental patient. It was said that he had cone insane after the loss of his wife Livvie, who looked exactly like Sam. Lynn Herring was amazing with her performance. She was distraught and beside herself. She could not believe that she had fallen for this. That who she though was Caleb, King of Vampires, was actually a human. Lucy even tried to remove his ring that was thought to give him his immortal powers. She was unable to remove his ring, and left crying. Stephen Clay is dead, so it seems. No pulse, fake fangs, but that ring. There is somehting about that ring. The fact that it wouldn’t come off when Lucy was pulling it from his dead hands, and the fact that they focused in on it at the end leads me to believe there is more to this story. So the question arises, Is Caleb Morley really dead?

Will GH’s Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) Returns for The Nurses Ball?

Nancy Lee Grahn (GH’s Alexis Davis) tweeted that she was happy to see her TV nephew, Nikolas Cassadine, played by Tyler Christopher at General Hospital. There has been talk of having Nikolas return to Port Charles for the revival of The Nurses Ball and for General Hospital’s big 50th anniversary. With Nancy’s tweet we now have more reason to believe that it is more than just a rumor.

Dr. Steven Webber Shocker!

I was right about the fact that this story with Dr. Webber wasn’t going to be as straight forward as it was seeming. Despite my hunch, I still had no clue what was going to happen. It was a total shock when Steve survived. Steve and Olivia ALMOST get married when he is arrested by Memphis police. Remember a little while back when Dr. Maggie Worth and Dr. Steve Webber had that secret from back in Memphis? It ended up that Steve killed a patient in order to save another. That crime will finally come to bite him. Just after he survived a violent stab wound inflicted by his own Mother, he is about to marry the love of his life, Olivia, when it all comes crashing down. Stay tuned to see Scott Reeves’ exit from General Hospital.

One Year Without Robin Scorpio

“I can’t believe it’s been a year without you.” Anna said to herself about her daughter Robin. Earlier in the week we saw Patrick reflect on the loss of his wife and Mother of his child. It has been a whole year since Robin Scorpio has left behind her friends and loved ones. In between, we have seen her come and go as we know she is being held captive by Cesar Faison. Still, her husband, parents, child, and friends do not know she is alive. General Hospital’s 50th anniversary is coming up this April 1st, 2013. We have been prepared that there are going to be many surprises waiting for us. Some of these surprises we already know about, such as Rick Springfield’s return as Dr. Noah Drake, Jackie Zeman reprising her role as Bobbi Spencer, etc. Some surprises we have already scene, including Jack Wagner as Frisco Jones, Scotty Baldwin played by Kin Shriner, Laura Spencer played by Genie Francis, and more. Could General Hospital be saving the biggest for last? Will Robin Scorpio returning for GH’s 50th and The Nurses Ball?

Julie Marie Berman OUT at General Hospital

Julie Marie Berman, whom we all love and adore has been said to have taped her last episode today, February 26th, as Lulu Spencer Falconeri on General Hospital. As a fan of Ms. Berman and her character Lulu Spencer Falconeri, I am saddened by this news but also wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors. Julie has been an amazing Lulu since October, 2005. Her resemblance to TV Mother Genie Francis as Laura Spencer made it even easier to embrace the talented actress when she first arrive to the GH canvas. Julie’s scenes with TV Father Anthony Geary (Luke Spencer) we nothing short of fabulous. Those two could make you laugh, make you cry, and tug at your heart strings all at once. Ms. Berman and TV husband Dominic Zamprogna (Dante Falconeri) have had undeniable on screen chemistry and have established quite a large fan base for the coupling. Lante, as fans have nicknamed the duo, have been fan favorites for the last few years.

Julie confirmed this news via Twitter.

Actress Jen Lilley (ex-Maxie) has confirmed via Twitter that the rumors regarding casting her as the Lulu recast are indeed just rumors.

Goodbye Dr. Steven Webber aka Steven Lars

Well Heather has really outdone herself this time. After attacking Olivia with a knife for “getting in the way” of her relationship with her son whom she refers to as Steven Lars, she accidentally stabbed the knife into Steve’s abdomen just as Olivia saw in her vision. Who knows what will happen with Heather’s sanity (or lack thereof) after she faces responsibility for killing her own son.

Scott Reeves who plays Dr. Webber made an announcement a few months back that he was let go from General Hospital. R.I.P. Dr. Steven Webber.

Rick Springfield Returns to General Hospital

Coming this April, Dr. Noah Drake will be BACK at GH for several episodes. Musician/Actor Rick Springfield will reprise his infamous role as legendary Dr. Noah Drake, Father of our favorite doc hottie, Patrick Drake. Rick Springfield will be accompanied by his real life son, Liam Sprinthorpe, a new to Port Charles character who will be an undercover cop. Springfield’s son has a band called History Lessons. He stated that he feels a bit weird being on the same show with his Dad, but also feels a bit of comfort knowing that GH help launch his Father’s career.
