Actor Sean Kanan returns to GH this October 29th! It has yet to be revealed as to who he will be playing. Since he has a history with GH, rumors are circulating that he could be cast as his past character A.J., even though he was murdered in 2005. Another rumor suggests that he may be the recast for Jason Morgan, upon Steve Burton’s exit later this Fall. The news is hoped to remain a secret until Sean’s debut on October 29th.
Love ones, family, friends, and General Hospital fans are saddened by the news of John Ingle’s passing. He died on Saturday, September 15th, 2012. He took over the role of Edward Quartermaine in 1993. The character and actor is very dear to the hearts of GH fans. We are so sad by this news that shortly followed his appearance on the show last week. It was an amazing thing to be able to see him onscreen again, for what fans quickly found out it was his last. We will forever cherish the work John Ingle has put into the very important role of Edward Q. He was an amazing actor and loved by all. His family is in our prayers.

New is out the Genie Francis is leaving Y&R. A Soaps in Depth article states that she has been let go from her role at the CBS Soap The Young and The Restless. What could this mean for Genie and General Hospital? GH fans hope for a Laura Spencer return to Port Charles! GH is doing amazingly well right now with the writing, the current cast, and the return of many important vets. It would be really great to be able to welcome Genie Francis back into her role as Laura Spencer. Having Laura back would be another asset to the success of GH attributed to the return of our classic characters and foundation of the show. Here’s to hoping she will return! To check out the full article on Genie Francis leaving Y&R click here.
Today when Jerry was talking to Jax, he finally revealed what his coughing (illness) is really all about. He is dying from radiation sickness caused by that bullet from The Balkan. It was laced with Polonium 210. He has been kept alive but needed the money to continue treatment. Hence his real motive for his current destruction on Port Charles.
Today John Ingle (Edward Quartermaine) trended WORLDWIDE today on Twitter, along with Emma and Tracy trending in the US. This was a fabulous day for General Hospital. Rumors around are stating that today may have been John Ingle’s last episode as Edward Quartermaine on General Hospital. Let’s hope and pray that it’s not the case, and if so, we wish him well. He deserves the best. We love you John Ingle!
Last week Jason started to get a little curious about how Sam’s baby died. As he uncovered some information that did not quite add up, he became suspicious. With the help of Elizabeth, Jason will get closer to finding out what really happened to Sam’s baby… maybe even find out that the baby is actually his and not Franco’s!
The What If JaSam episode got all the fans in an emotional frenzy, asking WHY oh WHY couldn’t this have been the way the sotry was written from the beginning? TPTB claim that the audience would rather see angst, depression, and serious sadness over happiness. However, we the fans do not think this is true 100% of the time. Yes of course, we love the drama, the suspense, the obstacles and all that. If we didn’t, we wouldn’t be watching soaps. But it is important to have some type of balance. Too much darkness, especially for a couple that has so much potential, and a story that could have brought light to so many supporting characters is just discouraging after so long. We are all wondering WHY this story wasn’t written this way if the writers KNEW how to do so?

I know it sounds a bit harsh but in all honesty, it’s a sincere heart felt expression of how we fans feel about JaSam.
