Willow’s career in nursing is one of her proudest accomplishments, aside from family, and her victory over leukemia of course. Her code of ethics has higher standards, and she’s not okay with committing a crime so long as she doesn’t get caught. That’s just not who she is. Instead, she’s honest to the core. Thanks to Nina (Cynthia Watros), Josslyn (Eden McCoy) knows all about Dex’s plans to kill Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Of course, the orders to kill and not to kill came from none other than Sonny. But Joss wants nothing to do with Dex now that she’s aware of what he’s actually capable of, and willing to do.

It’s not easy for recasts as they have to live up to a certain standard. According to past GH comings and goings news, Wright was the fourth actress to take on the role of Carly Corinthos.

First, Sarah Joy Brown originated the role and it was unimaginable to think of anyone else playing Carly. Then, Tamara Braun came along and GH fans were captivated by her raw emotions while portraying Carly. Sadly, Braun left General Hospital as well. Finally, Jennifer Bransford briefly stepped into the role before Wright took over in ‘05.

Reportedly, Laura has played Carly for nearly 19 of her 30 plus years in daytime television. Furthermore, shes worked alongside Mathison for about two years, according to recent GH news reports, Laura Wright reveals that Carly and Drew’s breakup scenes are her favorite scenes between herself and Mathison. Wright tells Soap Opera Digest, “I think they are the best scenes I’ve ever had with Cameron, ” Laura Wright confessed. “It’s some of the best work I’ve ever seen him do. Today, GH Blog also has growing TikTok, Pinterest, and YouTube profiles. Thanks to the dedicated General Hospital fans and GH Blog supporters, we’ve gratefully been sharing our GH content for 13 years.

Over the past 13 years we’ve had the pleasure of engaging with fellow General Hospital fans on a daily basis. That said, GH fans express their ideas, thoughts, and options on all things GH. Yesterday, Steve Burton received the warmest of welcomes when he debuted as Jason Morgan. According to GH news, Burton was hired to play Jason Quartermaine in 1991. Fans were drawn to his portrayal of the preppy- rich-kid-turned mob enforcer. Unfortunately, Burton left GH in 2012, but returned in 2017. Then, he was let go from the soap opera in 2021 due to a covid vaccine mandate. Needless to say its been one big roller coaster for GH fans.

Steve Burton Reveals How Jason Morgan’s Storyline Changed Course

Thankfully, prayers were answered when his surprise return was announced. Fans immediately began to speculate about how Jason would be reintroduced to the canvas. According to the latest GH news and spoilers, Burton revealed the decision for Steve to return came before the recent writer switch. As a result, Jason’s storyline took a different direction.

GH spoilers reveal that Burton opened up to Soap Opera Digest about his storyline. “So apparently there was a whole different story planned and then the head writer switch happened and then they kind of rebooted (the story arc). I know Patrick (Mulcahey, one of the new head writers) a little bit, but I really know Elizabeth Korte (who was promoted to co-head writer).” Burton disclosed to the news outlet.

“There’s no one in the building that loves that show, knows the history of the character, and is invested in it 100 percent than Elizabeth. There has never been a more deserved promotion, ever. Once I know that she was (one of the head writers), I was like, ‘Oh, this is gonna be good! I cannot wait.’ And it has been exactly that. Everything has been amazing.”

It sounds like Steve is just as excited about his comeback as the rest of us! His faith in the new writing team gives hope for an exciting future at General Hospital.
