General Hospital Spoilers: What Laura Has Loved and Lost

LauraKey

Helena’s will reading was significantly short of satisfying. Basically, we don’t know the meaning of her oh-so-crytpic mysterious and evil distributions to those closest to the Cassadine family.

Over time, Helena has held a special place in her heart, so to speak, for the Spencer family. Especially for Luke (Tony Geary) and Laura (Genie Francis). That said, her “gift” to Laura is probably the most intriguing and mysterious of them all. Evidently, Helena gave Laura a black, uniquely shaped key. And apparently it’s the “key to what Laura has loved… and LOST!” Creepy, right?

What could that possibly mean? Well, GH fans had a couple of ideas. General Hospital rumors started swirling ever since Helena’s bombshells. Some GH rumors claim that  it could be Luke. After all, he’s something that Laura has loved and lost.  Will Anthony Geary  be make a cameo comeback after last year’s retirement? Additionally, other rumors suggest that Jonathan Jackson returns as Lucky Spencer for a brief time. Although she loves Lucky, she hasn’t actually “lost” him. He’s simply not living in Port Charles.

What do you think Helena meant by this gift to Laura Spencer? Is Anythony Geary or Jonathan Jackson returning to GH?

General Hospital News: Steve Burton and Jonathan Jackson to Open TN Restaurant

Jack and Jameson's Smokehouse/Facebook

Two of General Hospital’s most well known actors are real life friends and are about to reunite through a new project. The legendary Lucky Spencer, portrayed by Jonathan Jackson, and the iconic Jason Morgan formerly played by Steve Burton for 21 years, have joined forces outside ABC Studios.

The two have parted ways from General Hospital, as Steve Burton now plays Dylan McAvoy on The Young and the Restless, and Jonathan Jackson has moved to ABC’s Primetime drama, Nashville, as Avery Barkley. Although they are no longer co-workers in show biz, they are taking their colleague-ship in an entirely new direction.

Jackson and Burton have announced that they, along with third co-owner, restaurateur, Richard Shannon will open a Tennessee Smokehouse. The venue has been described as “a family-friendly, world class,” restaurant and concert venue.

At Jack and Jameson’s Smoke House, expect to indulge in barbecue and burgers, and will have 15-20 local brews on tap.

In the area or looking to vacation in Tennessee? General Hospital fans all over the country are ecstatic about this recent news.

Lucky’s Big Decision: Will He Reveal Jake as Jason?

LuckytruthNikolas may have a shred of decency left in him. After seeing Nik tell his brother Lucky the truth about Jason Morgan, maybe there is hope for him yet. What made Nikolas feel compelled to tell Lucky the truth? He told Luyxky that he wanted him to know, that no matter what his decision, the boys were in good hands. Whether or not Lucky stayed in Port Charles, Nikolas was trying to reassure him that Cameron, Aiden, and Jake, would be alright, either with Lucky, or with Jake as he is really Jason Morgan.

Nikolas is trying to rationalize his and Elizabeth’s decision to keep Jake’s identity a secret by using the fact that Sam is now with Patrick, and everyone who loved Jason has moved on. Lucky may not see things the same way. General Hospital spoilers reveal that at the end of Tuesday’s episode, Lucky was shown at Liz’s porch, ready to knock. When he saw Elizabeth, Jake (Jason), and little Jake inside playing happily, he turned away. That doesn’t mean that is the end of it. Lucky could still have a change of heart. Knowing that Jonathan Jackson is returning to Nashville makes fans well aware that Lucky Spencer won’t be sticking around Port Charles. That being said, perhaps Lucky will want Jake to know he is Jason, so that he can take care of little Jake while knowing he is his biological son.

Do you think Lucky will do the right thing and tell the truth about Jake’s true identity, or will he justify keeping the secret as Nik and Liz have?

General Hospital Ins and Outs and Summer Recast!

There will be a lot of characters walking in and out of Port Charles this Summer on General Hospital. General Hospital Blog has previously reported that Jeffrey Vincent Parise (Carlos Rivera) is OUT, and it doesn’t look like he will be returning. Sean Blakemore is also on his way out at GH as Sonny’s enforcer, Shawn Butler. In the midst of his legal troubles, and baby mama drama with Jordan (Vinessa Antoine), Shawn will be leaving Port Charles, will he take his son TJ with him?

Finola Hughes will be off for the Summer as Anna Devane will leave Port Charles since the death of Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan). Ian Buchanan has been out at GH since early May.

Lisa LoCicero will be on maternity leave for the majority of this Summer. Olivia and Ned will exit PC, as Wally Kurth has landed a role on Days of Our Lives.

Tony Geary is set to return to GH this Summer so that Luke Spencer can say goodbye to his loved ones in Port Charles. Geary is retiring for good, but we have good news that has confirmed Genie Francis will return as Laura Spencer for Geary’s exit. GH rumors have speculated that more GH alum will be returning to the canvas for Luke’s big goodbye. Jonathan Jackson who has played Lucky Spencer on GH, is currently on ABC’s Nashville. While Nashville is on Summer hiatus, it is highly possible that we will see Lucky return to Port Charles to see his dad, Luke, off.

General Hospital rumors have teased with one particular possibility for quite a while. Fans have been up in arms when it comes to Robin Scorpio Drake. Some want her back, some want her to stay gone, and others are willing to accept a recast. Although a recast of a fan favorite has been done in the past (Billy Miller taking Stave Burton’s place as Jason Morgan), it’s highly unlikely that Kimberly McCullough, who originated the character Robin will be recast. McCullough’s status with General Hospital remains unknown. However, there are a couple other possibilities for a Summer recast. Some claim that bringing Liz Webber’s sister, Sarah back to Port Charles is in the works, and since ABC’s fan February contest, social media has been buzzing that Serena Baldwin will make a return.

A New Lucky Spencer Could Be on His Way to PC

Lucky Spencer is the son of legendary lovers Lucas Lorenzo (Luke) Spencer (Tony Geary) and the beautiful Laura Spencer (Genie Francis). He is the half brother of Prince Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) and the ex-husband of the lovely Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), among many other connections in Port Charles.

Lucky left Port Charles after being betrayed and hurt by the love of his life, Elizabeth and his own brother, Nikolas. Liz and Nik were best friends for many years. In more recent years, after being on and off again with Liz’s great love Lucky, and Nikolas losing his true love and Liz’s best friend Emily, Nik and Liz grew to be more than friends. There relationship became romantic and was a steamy love affair. Lucky’s heart belonged to Elizabeth at the time and Liz was torn between the two brothers. When Lucky found out that he had been betrayed by the two people he cared for most, he ultimately ended up leaving town.

Since actor and portrayer of Lucky Spencer, Jonathan Jackson is now on ABC’s hit series, Nashville, it doesn’t look like we will be seeing him reprise his role as Lucky any time soon.

There have been recent rumors circulating regarding Lucky returning to GH and who will be playing him. It seems like General Hospital has been getting a few stars from NBC’s The Young and the Restless, such as Michelle Stafford (Nina Clay) and possibly Billy Miller who has been reported to play the new Jason Morgan this August. The most current news regarding a new Lucky is that Y&R star Michael Muhney will be cast to play General Hospital’s Lucky Spencer. Recently, he and actor Rick Hearts (Ric Lansing) have been quite friendly with their twitter exchanges. There is a possibility that the two have gotten to know one another taping on the set of GH. With Michael Muhney’s recent departure from Y&R, it is likely that this rumor will come true in the near future.

General Hospital Blog will keep fans posted on any concrete news from executives that confirm this casting rumor. In the mean time, hang tight and keep watching GH!
