Antonio Sabato Jr. Films 426 Movie In My Hometown! …ABC’s General Hospital may have just killed off his iconic GH character, but Antonio Sabato Jr. is alive and well, and filming a movie!
Last year, General Hospital brought back an iconic character. The decision shocked GH fans when the role of Jagger Cates was recast. Antonio Sabato Jr. was no longer the face of one of the most famous Daytime Television characters in the 1990s. Instead, actor Adam Harrington took over the role.
Recently, General Hospital news reports confirmed that GH has killed off Agent John Jagger Cates. This was another decision that threw GH fans for a loop. Sadly, the character was brought back but had zero redeeming qualities, and now he’s dead. Unfortunately, the legendary 1990s icon is officially over. While Sabato Jr.’s face became most GH fan’s reason to tune in, he wasn’t the one in the role at the time of the character’s death.
Most recently, Sabato revealed that his acting career is alive and well despite Jagger’s untimely death. Long time enemy Sonny Corinthos shot him in cold blood. General Hospital may have closed the door on Jagger, but Sabato’s is currently filming a new movie. In fact, the TV/movie star and model relocated for a new role. But it’s understandable why Sonny would question Jason’s three year absence. Needless to say, Jason had some explaining to do upon his Port Charles return. However, Sonny wasn’t having any of it until Jagger was exposed.
General Hospital recall that Sonny wasn’t too receptive to Jason’s homecoming. In fact, Sonny doubted his best friend when he couldn’t make sense of the situation. However, now that Sonny knows the truth, the dream team is back!

Recently, new GH spoilers and rumors tease that Agent Cates used Carly, and now Sonny as his excuse to terrorize Jason’s life. Back in the day Agent Cares was known around Port Charles as Jagger. GH recaps recall a love triangle among Jagger, Jason, and Karen Wexler. Jagger went on to marry her but he always held animosity toward Jason because of his and Karen’s feelings for each other.
Moreover, GH rumors speculate that Cate’s hate for Jason runs deep because of a secret. Did Karen have Jason’s baby all this years ago? And did that child grow up to be Dex Heller (Evan Hofer)?

Therefore, if Carly becomes romantically entangled with Agent Cates, she wouldn’t just betray Jason, but she’d also betray herself.
Over the years it’s become apparent that Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) is no fan of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). In fact, the shady attorney dislikes the mobster because of everything that Scotty believes the mobster stands for. It’s safe to say that Scotty and Sonny are not and never were friends.
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I think that the 90s brought forth some of the most engaging and memorable storylines in Port Charles. General Hospital 90s recaps highlight the current front burner storyline. Jason Quartermaine (Steve Burton) and Jagger Cates (Adam Harrington) were two frenemies who were both crushing hard on the same girl. Eventually, Jason moved on, and Karen Wexler (Cari Shayne) became Jagger’s wife.
Moreover, Scott Baldwin and Jagger Cates have a few things in common. First, they both have decades old beef with Sonny and his organization. Secondly, Karyn Wexler connects Scott and Agent Cates because Scott is her father and John Jagger Cates was her husband. Sadly, Jagger and Karen were divorced, and she has since passed away. Evidently, their disdain for the PC coffee important due to Sonny’s part in Karen’s wild side.
Additionally, Sonny isn’t their only ongoing bad blood flowing through Port Charles. While Scotty despises Sonny and his organization overall (which would include Jason Morgan), Jagger takes issue with Jason Quartermaine. According to GH spoilers and rumors, Karen’s dad and Jagger both have it out for Jason Quartermaine, the Jason Morgan was before having been involved in a car crash with his brother AJ. Jagger has already admitted that his problem is with Quartermaine, not Morgan.
Scotty Helped Karen keep Dex From Jason
Previously, General Hospital Blog shared rumors that Jason and Karen are Dex Heller’s biological parents. Recent scenes brought about various revelations and even some clues. Agent Cates (Adam Harrington) is out for blood, and he’s fixated on Jason Morgan. GH recaps recall John Cate’s first few encounters with Port Charles residents. Particularly, his engagements with Carly Spencer Corinthos (Laura Wright). Soon enough Carly suspected why he kept coming around. Surely it was to sniff out information on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Moreover, it’s become aware that Jagger’s biggest concern is actually Jason.
Jason and Dex
At first, Cates was deceptive and misled Carly about his indentity. Then shortly after, GH spoilers and rumors hinted toward his involvement with the entire operation. Fast forward to present time and we know Brennan’s true identity. Agent John Jagger Cates is on a mission to end organized crime in Port Charles. Whatever Cates has going on with Jason also involves many others. For starters, Sonny Corinthos. But now more people have been pulled in.
Thanks to Nina (Cynthia Watros), Josslyn (Eden McCoy) knows all about Dex’s plans to kill Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Of course, the orders to kill and not to kill came from none other than Sonny. But Joss wants nothing to do with Dex now that she’s aware of what he’s actually capable of, and willing to do.
GH previews indicate that Jason isn’t comfortable with how the situation has spiraled. Too many people have been roped in and Jason needs a solution. According to GH rumors, Jason and Dex turn themselves into the police. Like father, like son? Will Dex and Jason have the same idea when it comes to making business moves?
At first, Carly (Corinthos) Spencer (Laura Wright) and Agent John Jagger Cates (Adam Harrington) hit it off. They seemed to click and fans recognized their onscreen chemistry almost immediately following Carly and Jagger’s first encounter. Back then he went by the name of Brennan, and Carly and everyone else was unaware of his true identity. As it turns out, Brennan is actually a blast from the past with a new face- Agent John Jagger Cates.
Although Carly may have been sweet on “Brennan,” she has always kept her wits about her. She’s not easily played, even when she’s feeling vulnerable for whatever reason. Now that she knows exactly who Brennan really is, Carly’s guard is up even more.
According to GH spoilers and rumors Agent Cates turns to Carly for answers. But his fixation with Jason Morgan raises red flags. For some reason John, aka Jagger, anger focused on capturing Jason, as opposed to trying to identify the other shooter as well. So, what gives? Many GH fans have expressed their curiosity on social media platforms. It’s possible that agent Kitz has a lot more to do with the situation then he is letting on.
