Remembering one measly decade is nothing compared to the OG fans. Those General Hospital stans are the true ride or die types who have watched since day one (April 1st, 1963). That’s six decades!

While many of us started watching this iconic Soap Opera before we even had our first kiss, we encourage new, fresh fans every day! It’s nice to be able to grow the fan base, especially geared toward the younger generation. As I recall, I began watching General Hospital in 1992 with my mom and my sister. And throughout my pre-teens and high school years my friends also watched. Sadly, today most of my friends have stopped watching. And let’s be honest, we aren’t friends anymore either lol. Haha but that’s another thing.

Alexis finds Gregory collapsed on the floor. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) can’t seem to catch a break when it comes to men. From Julian Jerome (William deVry) to Dr. Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan), Alexis is making a pattern of her relationships ending in tragedy. Ironically, when a suitably charming man walks into her life, Alexis ends up falling in love with a psychopath or her man dies a tragic death. Sometimes both! ????

This time, the man on her mind is just a friend. However, we say that Alexis Davis and Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) are well on their way out of the friend zone. GH recaps remind fans how Alexis and Gregory met. Things started off a little rocky after she was almost hit in the head with a frisbee. From then, their heads actually became quite familiar with each other, as their intellectual status seemed to match. Finally! A man on Alexis’s same page.

Slowly, their friendship began to develop. But before any type of romance could begin, Gregory took many steps back. According to General Hospital spoilers, Gregory’s secret illness caused him to push Alexis away. On the contrary, his attempt backfired and brought her even closer.
