Dante falls for Anna?! …Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has pined for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) for years. Their sketchy past paints such an odd picture leading up to the romance between them today. Of course, Valentin being a Cassadine was enough for Anna to fear his affections. Despite his bloodline, they’ve come a long way since the days when Alex was around. Now, after all go his pining and waiting in anticipation to get the girl, he has her but it could all over over soon.

General Hospital spoilers tease that Anna continues to find comfort and support in her old friend Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), along with her other dear friend who happens to be Sonny’s son. Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Anna became close through their PCPD partnership while continuing to remain close.

Meanwhile, Valentin is keeping secrets from Anna while simultaneously proclaiming his love for her. But something in Valentin has changed. The song that immediately comes to mind when I think of Valentin and Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) current storyline is, “Open Your Eyes,” by Snow Patrol. After years of chasing, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) finally got the girl.

After tragedy struck, Vanna fans worry that Anna’s adventurous life finally got the best of her. Meanwhile, General Hospital spoilers and previews indicate that Valentin continues to sit vigil at Anna’s side. Her current critical condition resulted when Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) pulled the trigger. Naturally, Valentin blames himself for his father’s actions.

The damage was done and now Anna’s life hangs in the balance. According to recent General Hospital previews, Anna remains unconscious as she fights for her life. However, GH rumors hint that Vanna get a happy ending. Presumably, Anna opens her eyes! It looks like Valentin wills Anna back to life! After all they’ve been through, Valentin’s love saves Anna.

Accordingly, General Hospital comings and goings and other GH casting news has not made mention that Finola Hughes will exit General Hospital. Therefore, it’s highly unlikely that Anna Devane will die as a result of Victor’s insanity. It’s safe to say Anna and Valentin still have a chance at romance.

The latest GH rumors and spoilers suggest that Victor corners Valentin and Anna after Lucy outs herself. Victor knows that the only way Lucy could escape would be with Anna and Valentin’s help. Therefore, he realizes they can’t possibly be dead.
