The song that immediately comes to mind when I think of Valentin and Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) current storyline is, “Open Your Eyes,” by Snow Patrol. After years of chasing, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) finally got the girl.

After tragedy struck, Vanna fans worry that Anna’s adventurous life finally got the best of her. Meanwhile, General Hospital spoilers and previews indicate that Valentin continues to sit vigil at Anna’s side. Her current critical condition resulted when Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) pulled the trigger. Naturally, Valentin blames himself for his father’s actions.

The damage was done and now Anna’s life hangs in the balance. According to recent General Hospital previews, Anna remains unconscious as she fights for her life.
