Ava questions Sonny’s efforts to shut down the enemy. Apparently, Ava Jerome (Maura West) trusts Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) more than she dislikes him. Although the two well-versed mobsters never even liked each other, their loyalty as Avery’s parents take priority.

In Port Charles, danger lurks around every corner. Unfortunately, even the seemingly safe ones could turn out to be a threat.While some people give off obvious “danger zone” vibes, others hide behind their “pillar of the community” costumes. For example, Dr. Austin Holt’s (Roger Howarth) colleagues have no idea what he’s involved in. In fact, Austin’s soft spoken delivery and gentle nature even had Maxie (Kirsten Storms) convinced.

According to GH spoilers, Ava’s in a tough spot now that she came clean. Her ties to Austin make this a delicate situation, so when Sonny makes his first move, Ava asks questions. Recent General Hospital spoilers indicate that Ava questions Sonny’s efforts at taking charge of the situation. Ava knows that Mason and Austin mean business. Understandably, she needs to make sure Sonny treads lightly when it comes to Austin and Mason.

How could Sonny have possibly handled that incorrectly? From the looks of things, General Hospital previews indicate that Ava isn’t too happy. General Hospital spoilers reveal that Austin’s ties to the Quartermaine family is the backbone to everything that has developed over some months. From Pikeman and Sonny, to Carly and Drew’s run in with the SEC, GH rumors claim that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is behind it all.

According to this week’s GH recaps, Tracy is partnered up with a mystery person. She made it very clear that she and this person are on an equal playing field. To clarify, Tracy declared the person on the other end of the phone was NOT her boss, but her equal. So, that lead to newly developing GH rumors. Now GH rumors suggest that Tracy’s working with Mason, but not as an equal. His connection to Austin makes him the perfect mobster to handle Quartermaine affairs. Unfortunately for Austin, that’s not how things work. He can’t simply refuse to follow orders without adverse consequences. That being said, those close to him are in danger.

General Hospital recaps recall the events that lead to Nikolas’s self destruction as well as the slow death of his marriage to Ava. Unfortunately, Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma/Adam Huss) life entered a whirlwind when his son Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) returned home with his girlfriend. Little did he know, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) came to Port Charles with a lot more to unpack than her boarding school luggage.

Clearly, Nikolas’s poor life choices and the repercussions that follow began long before Spencer returned home with Esme in tow. In fact, Nik had already caused damage to his father/son relationship when he faked his own death. Upon his “resurrection,” Nikolas wasn’t necessarily welcomed with open arms by everyone he loves.

Sadly, Spencer’s plan to get back at his father went way out of left field thanks to Esme. Consequently, Spencer and his father didn’t get a chance to mend their relationship through a string of ill-fated events. Ultimately, Nikolas and Spencer became more like enemies instead of reconciling. Needless to say, Nikolas’s downward spiral launched when Esme’s father, Ryan Chamberlain set his plan for Ava and Nikolas in motion. Fast forward to the present, Nikolas spun so out if control that he ended up threatening to kidnap Ava’s daughter… and we all know the rest.

After all, he is the reason her marriage to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma/Adam Huss) is over. Now that he’s truly gone, she can rest assured that Ryan won’t harm her or anyone she loves again. But safety and peace of mind aren’t all why she’s particularly relieved. In a vulnerable state, Ava confessed to killing Nikolas to Ryan. Now that he’s gone, her secret stays safe between herself and Dr. Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth).
