Agent Cates Conspires With Ava! Ava Jerome is behind bars as the main suspect in Kristina Corinthos’s (Kate Mansi) tragic fall. At 8 months pregnant, Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and TJ’s (Tajh Bellow) surrogate suffered devastating injuries. Later, Molly, TJ, and Kristina learned that the baby girl she was carrying didn’t make it.

General Hospital spoilers tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) is in hot water. Currently, the ex-mobster sits in Pentonville awaiting her fate. Ava is the prime suspect in the death of an unborn baby after Kristina’s body was launched out of a Metro Court hotel room window. Thankfully, Sonny’s daughter survived. However, the family is devastated after losing Sonny’s granddaughter.

According to GH recaps, Agent Cates conspires with Ava to put an end to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Meanwhile, the FBI Agent is hell bent on nailing Sonny despite Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) warning. She advised Agent John Cates against getting into bed with Ms. Jerome.

Sonny may be the most prominent mobster in Port Charles, but Ava is a former mobster as well. In fact, she knows how to fight dirty. Furthermore, she has always played dirty. So, how is anyone supposed to trust her after everything they she’s done?!

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) may not be Sonny Corinthos’s wife anymore, but she’ll forever have his back. Despite the ugly split and then betrayal that Carly felt when Sonny pursued a relationship with Nina, Carly and Sonny always look out for each other.

General Hospital recaps recall Sonny’s trust issues. Recently, he made the mistake of trusting Ava Jerome (Maura West). Meanwhile, he turned his back on Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Carly. But first, he found out that Nina betrayed him and his family when she turned Carly and Drew into the SEC. That’s when he decided that Nina could no longer be trusted. Finally, not until later on did Sonny confide in Ava while pushing Carly and Jason away.

As Taylor Swift says, “I wounded the good and I trusted the wicked.” That’s exactly what happened when Sonny told Ava that she’s the only person he can trust, while tearing down Carly and Jason. Mistakenly, Sonny leaned on and confided in a former mobster. But you know what they say, once a mobster, always a mobster. Just kidding, I don’t know if anyone really says that. But seriously, GH has taught me that it’s pretty hard to leave the business.

First of all, Ava dated Sonny’s son, Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig). That alone should be reason enough to keep his distance. Instead, Sonny ended up sleeping with his son’s ex! Then, Sonny blows off the fact that Ava killed Connie Falconeri (Kelly Sullivan), AND had a hand in his son Morgan’s death! How can he blow that off? Still, he got close to her in recent times despite her heinous deeds.

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Sonny may have labeled Nina and Carly traitors, but that doesn’t stop them from caring about his well being. Carly has a feeling that Ava and Agent Cates are working together, and that Ava is helping Cates take down Sonny. Apparently, Carly asks Nina to work together against Ava.

Despite Sonny Corinthos’s mindset, Carly and Jason are not against him. In fact, they are about the only two people who truly look out for Sonny’s best interest. They know him inside and out, and stand by him even when they’re on the outs.

For most of their adult lives Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) have been the closest and most trusted people to Sonny. But since breaking up his marriage for Nina, he and Carly haven’t been the same. Furthermore, Sonny’s relationship with his best friend has drastically changed.

GH recaps remind us who stood by Jason when he was accused of shooting Dante. Even Sonny doubted his former right hand man. Sonny treated Jason like an enemy upon his homecoming because he assumed the worst. Then, Jason was vindicated after having been accused of shooting Dante. Apparently, Jason’s innocence didn’t matter to Sonny because he refuses to talk things out. Instead, Sonny harbors anger toward the two people he can actually trust.

Right now Sonny finds it difficult to trust anyone because he’s been burned many times before. As a result, the trust between Sonny and Jason and Carly is gone. Although the Port Charles mob boss has unfairly accused and shunned his best friend and ex-wife, Jason and Carly have not wavered.
