Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) have been trying to get their life on track while having financial troubles and being manipulated by their friends Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).
Franco and Ava have been friends for a while, but not nearly as long as Liz and Nik. Regardless, Franco and Ava become even closer during their time together when Franco was painting Ava’s portrait. The unveiling of Ava’s portrait was a major sign in what was ahead for Franco. He shown signed of reverting back to his old personality before having his tumor removed. Since then, Franco has been displaying somewhat of out of character behavior, leaving Liz to question whether or not he was reverting back to his past.
General Hospital spoilers confirm Franco’s brain tumor is back. Although at first he was set on not telling Elizabeth, new General Hospital previews show Franco revealing his diagnoses. The tumor is inoperable, leaving little hope for Franco to remain having his current personality, or even survival.
Franco’s fate has not yet been decided. Although General Hospital rumors claim more casting cuts are ahead, there has not been any GH news confining the departure of Roger Howarth as Franco Baldwin.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) is once again at the mercy of the man who is obsessively “in love” with her. He has threatened her brother Julian Jerome (William deVry), if she doesn’t divorce Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). Ava thought she could get away with falsifying divorce papers and presenting them to Ryan in exchange for the letter from Nelle which incriminates Julian.

General Hospital rumors claim that Ryan won’t even wait for Sonny to go after Julian, but he may take matters into his own hands by getting plans in motion from behind bars. Since William deVry has been said to be let go from GH, there’s a high possibility his character will get killed.

Ava Jerome (Maura West) has retreated to Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) cabin in the woods with their daughter, Avery. She took Avery there to give Sonny some time to spend with his father, Mike in his final days of life. Ava was startled when she was surprised by her husband, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) at the cabin. She was already on edge after knowing that this is the place where Nelle took Wiley after having him kidnapped from the Quartermaine mansion.

Anyone can be lurking in those woods, especially anyone who knows the cabin is tied to the Corinthos family. Nelle is well aware that Avery is Sonny’s daughter, which makes it plausible that she would kidnap her to get revenge on the family.
Other General Hospital rumors hint that Avery may not be missing at all, but simply hiding or lost for a brief amount of time. Nikolas and Ava will look for Avery together, possibly leading to a deeper bond between husband and wife.
