What I really want to know is why in the world didn’t Chase ask Brook Lynn what Tracy had her do? Maybe he did and I missed it, but something tells me that he should have been more up on things. You know, being a detective and all.
Over at Deception, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) are reeling over Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) latest act of malice. General Hospital recaps recall Maxie’s blasting her so-called friend, telling her, “this isn’t high school.” Rightfully so, Maxie is livid and told Brook Lynn exactly what’s up. The sheepish look on BLQ’s face indicates that Maxie’s words hit close to home.
According to General Hospital spoilers, confessions spill out like over over-filled kiddie pool with the hose still running. Apparently, no one has to break her arm to come clean this time. GH spoilers and rumors hint that Brook Lynn tells Chase about Deception and exactly what she had to do for Granny The Tyrant, Tracy.
Still, it seems odd that Brook Lynn admitted that Tracy blackmailed her over Chase’s position at the PCPD, yet the topic of what she made BLQ do hasn’t come up. Regardless, Chase founds out soon enough. Has BLQ exceeded her 9 lives?
Cody needs Brook Lynn’s help! But will she understand where he’s coming from and offer her assistance? Or, will she shut Chase down and keep him out of Sasha’s (Sofia Mattsson) Ferncliff room?
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is a fighter. She’s a true believer in standing up for what’s right and fighting for the ones who can’t fight for themselves. Ultimately, she’s all for protecting others, especially those who can’t protect themselves.
So, why is she so reluctant to fight for Sasha? GH recaps recall Brook Lynn’s take on the whole Sasha situation. Just because it’s clear to Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), and even Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), some still doubt Sasha’s progress. So far, Brook Lynn doesn’t quite see the holes in the story. She’s currently stuck in the narrative Gladys portrays. Cody needs Brook Lynn’s help! But will she disregard his reasons for concern?
Moreover, GH spoilers and rumors tease that Cody and Brook Lynn begin to spend an increasing amount of time together. Maybe Brook Lynn starts to see thins Cody’s way, and they’ll work together on a plan to help Sasha. Then, suspicions arise as Chase wonders why his girl is spending so much time with Cody inside the Quartermaine mansion. Is Chase about to have another reason not to trust BLQ?
Rena Sofer brings Lois Cerullo back to General Hospital?! …Before she was Quinn Fuller on the CBS soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful for nine years, Rena Sofer was part of the Quartermaine chaos in the 1990s. She arrived in Port Charles as Lois Cerullo in 1993. And in just four short years, Sofer’s role became iconic.
What a great time to reflect on iconic GH eras. The 1990s was such a great time in Port Charles. Aside from having been the time I first starting watching GH, the early 1990s was the beginning of making history. The Nurses Ball, the iconic island storyline, and HIV/AIDS Awareness, kicked off the early 90s. Additionally, Jason Quartermaine (Steve Burton) was still wearing argyle sweaters, and Brenda and Sonny were just getting started. Undeniably the 90s vibe in Port Charles was unforgettable.
Rena Sofer Brings Lois Cerullo Back To General Hospital
According to GH history, another unforgettable aspect of General Hospital in the 90s is Wally Kurth’s portrayal of Eddie Maine. As Ned Ashton’s rock star persona, he and Lois Cerullo became the hottest thing on the scene. Their love resulted in their daughter Brook Lynn.
GH spoilers and rumors tease that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) reaches out to her mom, Lois, in the wake of Ned’s identity crisis. Who knows Eddie Maine better than his ex-wife from Bensonhurst?!
…It just might be Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) lucky day! While it’s true that many would argue otherwise, Ned’s (Wally Kurth) accident could very well be Brook Lynn’s stroke of luck. It’s safe to say that Olivia won’t share BLQ’s sentiments. Instead, odds are that Ned’s misfortune leaves Olivia feeling unmoored as the unexpected incident that left Ned hanging on for dear life.
Oddly enough, Ned’s daughter isn’t the only one who could benefit from his near death experience. According to recent GH spoilers and rumors, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) breathes a little easier when she learns that Ned woke up with an identity crisis. For obvious reasons, Nina’s pleasantly surprised with Ned’s new persona. Furthermore, while some GH rumors hint that he’s faking the condition, others question why he’d pretend to keep Nina’s secret… unless he’s planning the ultimate exposure and needs time to her or right.
Meanwhile, Brook Lynn’s music career has suffered over the past couple years. She went from Singer/Songwriter to Songwriter/Manager when a tragic incident left her unable to sing. Ever since Chase (Josh Swickard) returned to the PCPD, Brook Lynn’s career as a Music Manager providing any managerial support. That being said, General Hospital rumors speculate that BLQ uses her dad’s condition for her own benefit.

Brook Lynn’s last stunt! Brook Lynn gets Chase’s job back! Brook Lynn has inadvertently screwed over Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) one too many times. That’s why, after Chase’s life kept getting disrupted by BLQ’s (Amanda Setton) choices, he finally had enough.
GH Recap: For Chase, finding out that he ultimately lost his job because of BLQ’s selfishness was enough to call it quits as her boyfriend. It didn’t matter how much he truly cared for her. Or how she brightened up his days when she walked through the Quartermaine mansion doors. Chase was convinced he’s better off without her.
According to General Hospital previews, Chase awaits his fate. Today, Harrison Chase learns if he has a future as a Police Officer. The PCPD held a board meeting discuss Detective Chase’s character. To his pleasant surprise, BLQ really knocked it out of the park with her testimonials. In addition, Blaze, aka Allison Rogers (Jacqueline Grace Lopez), had some encouraging words for the board as well.
More over, BLQ is full of surprises. Recent General Hospital spoilers reveal that Brook Lynn’s last stunt could either make or break their second chance at love. In recent previews, Brook Lynn confides in Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). She tells her old friend that she called in a favor. According to GH rumors, her favor most likely has to do with Chase. If he finds out he got his job back through strings Brook Lynn pulled and not his own merit, will he be done with BLQ for good?!
Jacqueline Grace Lopez announces GH exit with Co-star Josh Swickard
Blaze leaves Port Charles . May sweeps is around the corner. That being said, General Hospital comings and goings reports give the latest updates regarding GH casting news.
Recent General Hospital recaps recall, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Allison Rogers, aka Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez), created one Hell of a musical collaboration. Another thing Chase and Blaze have in common is their mutual friend, BLQ. As manager, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) brought Chase and Blaze’s musical talents together to promote each of their careers. Unfortunately, trouble with Linc Brown (Dan Buran) cast a dark cloud over the experience. But thankfully, BLQ and Blaze’s bravery helped put an end to Linc.
In addition, Blaze and Brook Lynn also helped Chase achieve his dream. General Hospital spoilers, currently, Chase awaits the PCPD’s decision after the two ladies spoke out on his behalf. Meanwhile, Blaze skips town after she stepped up to help Brook Lynn help Chase get his job back. Accordingly, GH news reports confirm that Blaze leaves Port Charles. The actress says her goodbyes to her co-stars and fans as Jacqueline Grace Lopez announced her GH exit via Instagram.
It was wonderful having Lopez part of the GH cast! We wish her the best of luck in her future endeavors! Maybe even someday she’ll make her way back to Port Charles!
Brook Lynn Implicates Chase In Linc’s Death?! Yet again, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) gets Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) mixed up in a messy situation. If he was smart, he’d tell that girl to stay far, far, away before it’s too late. However, something tells us Chase is ready to give Brook Lynn another chance. That might not be the greatest idea because BLQ’s aura exudes drama like it’s a cloud of smoke coming from its appropriate apparatus. Inevitably and true to her character, Brook Lynn somehow drags Chase down with her.
Meanwhile on the music scene, Brook Lynn’s ongoing drama with music producer, Linc Brown (Dan Buran) only gets worse as time goes on. A certified skeeze bag, Linc abuses his position of power to manipulate passionate, career-driven rising stars. Sexual harassment is a crime that mustn’t be overlooked. BLQ’s professional relationship with Linc represents all that’s wrong in the industry. Things like this continue to happen because careers are threatened in order to have the upper hand. Currently, BLQ regrets signing Linc’s NDA. Linc offered BLQ the rights to her own music in exchange for her silence.
Linc Makes His Move But It Just Might Be His Last
General Hospital spoilers and rumors surrounding Brook Lynn, Chase, and Linc point to tragedy. According to previous GH spoilers, Brook Lynn lives in her regret. She signed Linc’s NDA contract in exchange for her music catalogue. These songs are products of BLQ’s own hard work. Sadly, the slime ball abuses his position of power to suit his agenda. Sexual harassment in the music industry is a growing problem. Mainly, instances where an artist gets fed up with either being the victim or someone who is witness to it decides to speak up.
Back stage at the Nurses Ball, Linc doesn’t hesitate to throw his weight around. But this time just might be his last as BLQ thinks enough is enough. GH rumors speculate Brook Lynn’s attempt to stop Linc takes a tragic turn. Meanwhile, Harrison Chase contemplates his feelings for BLQ. It’s apparent that he cares for her, but caring for her comes at a cost. Supposedly, Chase gets a firm reminder of why he said goodbye to Brook Lynn.
Brook Lynn Implicates Chase In Linc’s Death?!
Recent GH spoilers and rumors tease that Brook Lynn witnesses more inappropriate behavior from Linc. She’s had enough and decides to take action. Despite the NDA, Brook Lynn is determined to throw Linc under the bus. Consequently, no good deed goes unpunished. In what’s meant to become an end to a toxic work environment for many, Brook Lynn’s situation with Linc turns deadly. Furthermore, if Chase jumps in to clean up Brook Lynn’s mess, he could find himself in a familiar position, but worse! Because punching Linc to defend BLQ is nothing compared to what might happen next.
According to General Hospital casting news, Dan Buran’s status as GH’s sleazy music producer remains unknown. Will he survive? Or will Brook Lynn and Chase go down for his death?!
Will Brook Lynn sing again?! Over two years ago, Brook Lynn Quartermaine suffered from a brutal attack that left her speechless. The songstress received devastating news from doctors after her throat was slashed by the town crazy.
General Hospital recaps recall Carly (Laura Wright) and Michael Corinthos’s (Chad Duell) worst nightmare. The late Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) went on a tear, destroying anything and anyone in her way. Amidst the behind the scenes chaos of the Nurses Ball, Brook Lynn threatened to call the cops on Nelle. Consequently, that’s when Nelle used fabric shears to attack Brook Lynn. Her throat was slashed, causing permanent damage to the vocal cords. Although BLQ’s speaking voice returned with time, the damage was too great to go forward with her singing career.
Will Brook Lynn Sing Again?
General Hospital news reports confirm Wally Kurth and Amanda Setton discussed their musical attributes during a recent Coastal Entertainment zoom event. Amanda opened up about working with her tv dad, Wally Kurth, a Ios a musical duo. During the event, a fan asked Setton if she and Brook Lynn shared the ability to sing. Amanda was happy to admit she can sing, however, she doesn’t sing professionally. “Yeah, I do sing,” Setton confirmed. “But I don’t l professionally sing, and I’ve said to Wally [Kurth; Ned] and Josh [Swickard; Chase] and this other great girl who is on the show right now who plays the role of Blaze and has an amazing voice and stage presence, she is like a firecracker, she is amazing. You have to have a real confidence, and if it’s just us, or we’re in a studio, I could definitely sing.
“But I do think there’s a different level of command over the material and over the craft that one needs to have,” she continued, “and a comfort that I don’t know that I possess. Brook Lynn is such a badass and such a confident woman, I wouldn’t want to do her a disservice, so it just kind of worked out…the storyline, how it’s going. If there’s an opportunity where her vocal cords magically heal, which I’m sure in General Hospital-land, anything’s possible, then we’ll see what happens, but for right now, I am grateful in that sense that it’s not the end all, be all for Brook Lynn, is her voice. I can play badass pretty well. I don’t know that I could play badass singer so great.”
Wally Kurth aka Eddie Maine Weighs In
General Hospital’s Wally Kurth weighed in; “If I have anything to do with, it will be singing together at a Nurses Ball in the future,” Kurth happily told fans. Both parties seem to be on board while expecting a time when Brooklyn’s vocal cords are healed.
We hope that someday Wally and Amanda get the opportunity to show off their musical talents as Ned Ashton and his daughter BLQ!
Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Dustin (Mark Lawson) left their volunteer station to go find Brook Lynn (Briana Lane) which led them to a gruesome discovery. Brook Lynn was found unconscious, on the floor, bleeding out from her throat. Beside Brook Lynn was a pair of scissors, making it obvious the pair of scissors was used to cause the wound. Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) struck again in her mission to kidnap Wiley.
Brook Lynn’s dad, Ned Ashton (Wally Kurth), and step mom, Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) we not too far behind Lulu and Dustin.
General Hospital spoilers show Nelle covering her tracks as she wiped away her own fingerprints from the weapon. General Hospital rumors claim it won’t be easy getting down to the bottom of what actually happened to Brook Lynn. GH rumors suggest Ned and Olivia will take into consideration the recent family fallout between Ned and his daughter, while Lulu and Dustin reflect on Dustin rejecting Brook Lynn’s kiss.
General Hospital spoilers and rumors hint Brook Lynn’s family and friends will consider the possibility that she tried to commit suicide after so many things have gone wrong in her life.
Mac Scorpio (John J. York) is on the case and is already questioning Lulu and Dustin, asking if they have seen anyone fleeing the scene of the crime. If a suspect cannot be found, GH rumors claim they won’t rule out the possibility of attempted suicide. Brook Lynn is unconscious and unable to tell everyone what happened. The only hope of nailing Nelle will be if and when Brook Lynn wakes up and remembers what went down with crazy Nelle.
Julian Jerome (William DeVry) finally came to his senses and realized that having Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) on his tail for not one criminal act against his family, but two, won’t bode will for his future as a living, breathing, man. Julian wants to stay alive and the only way to do that is not put his new bride, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) in her place.
Julian needs to face the music with what he has already done as opposed to taking it even further. Julian knows Sonny will put a target on his back once he finds out he knew Wiley was Michael’s son the entire time the baby spent with Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) and Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes).
Now that Julian has come to his sense and turned on Nelle, he has backed her into a corner and is threatening her life at gun point. Wiley’s parents, Michael and Willow Corinthos, (Chad Duell, Katelyn MacMullen) have already discovered their son is gone from his crib. Grandma Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) is now awake and able to try and piece together what happened before she was knocked out. It’s only a matter of time before someone catches up with Nelle and Julian so he needs to make his move- and fast.
The tables have turned and now Nelle is in the hot seat. Julian is in control and he can make her do what he wants, or else. Will Julian take Ava’s (Maura West) advice and shoot to kill? Or will he use his upper hand to make her come clean and let Wiley go? Either way, Nelle most likely won’t be getting away with kidnapping Wiley, and soon everyone will find out what she has done to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane).
Whether she ends up dead or sent to prison, is this the end of the road for Nelle Benson?
