The soap opera world is mourning what many consider to be a legendary, fan-favorite character, on General Hospital.
When General Hospital news came out with confirmation of Steve Burton’s exit from GH as Jason Morgan, fans began to express their feelings surrounding the nature of his exit. Burton chose to not receive the Covid vaccine which goes against the Disney mandate.
Now that Jason Morgan is presumed dead, the news is hitting fans all over again. Perhaps the sting may not be as strong for some after going through losing Jason all those years back. But still, fans are sad and angry.
Steve doesn’t plan on going public with any detailed explanations regarding his firing from GH. In their recent That’s Awesome! podcast discussion, Steve told Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) and the audience, “I’ve gotten a lot of requests for interviews, but I don’t want to do them,” and continued, “I have no interest, dude. Because I don’t want division. That’s the bottom line.”
General Hospital spoilers reveal that in a recent podcast of That’s Awesome!, with Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson, Anderson revealed that he doesn’t agree with his bestie’s decision to not get vaccinated, ultimately leading to his firing from General Hospital.
Bradford and Steve’s friendship runs deep. They aren’t going to let differences of opinions get in the way of their bond. They have been friends for many years and although like most people, they have disagreements, they aren’t willing to throw in the towel on their friendship. Bradford tells fans, “We’ve been friends for a long time,” he disclosed, “but like all friends, we have disagreements. And I disagree with Steve’s decision. He knows that.” He continued by making things clear by stating, “But over our years of friendship,” he continued, “we’ve had plenty of discussions about, well, things like this and other topics and yes, sometimes we agree, sometimes we don’t, but at the end of the day we are still friends.”
Steve is well aware of the storm his decision has created among General Hospital fans, Jason fans particularly. He told Bradford, “I know people are frustrated, I know people are angry, I know all these things,” he said. “Just so you know, I’m OK.” Burton went on to explain that doors are already opening that he is excited about.
General Hospital news and spoilers reveal that Steve has zero interest in doing interviews upon his departure from General Hospital.
For those who think Steve has done something wrong or inconsiderate because misinformation has lead many to believe that Steve is contributing to the spread by not getting vaccinated. This is false. One can still spread and contract the illness, even while vaccinated. What the vaccine does however, is protect one’s self from more severe symptoms. Steve made a personal choice and although disappointing to see Jason go, Burton believes in personal, religious, medical, and all freedoms.
Earlier this month, General Hospital news reports confirmed that GH star, Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) had been exposed to Covid while at work.
In an Instagram post last week, Steve shared some disappointing news regarding having to postpone the Stone Cold and The Jackal tour with co-star and friend, Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli). Steve went on to inform fans that after being exposed, he tested negative for Covid-19. However, a few days later he was retested and it came up positive.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Burton’s update on his status with Covid. He took to Instagram to assure fans he is doing well and thanks those who have sent prayers and wished him well.
There is so much caution that has gone into the reopening of Prospect Studios in LA, where the cast and crew of General Hospital film each episode. That being said, exposures to Covid are inevitable.
General Hospital news reports indicate that GH star, Steve Burton (Jason Morgan), has taken to social media do share some disappointing news. Burton revealed that the already rescheduled Stonecold and the Jackal tour will have to be postponed yet again.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Burton disclosed he had been exposed to Covid while at work, first testing negative, then shortly after, testing positive. Due to his positive Covid test result, they are forced to reschedule the tour, again.
Burton explained his situation and the whereabouts of his pal, Bradford Anderson (Damian Spinelli), in the video below. Best of wishes and lots of prayers sent Steve’s way! Thankfully he doaoed he has no symptoms.
Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is head over heels for her knight in shining armor. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) saved her life, in which she then in turn saved his.
The two unexpected allies surprised themselves again when they started falling for each other.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Britt is getting away with her feelings, just to have her new relationship with Jason blow up before it even gets off the ground.
General Hospital previews show Britt bonding with Jason’s BFF, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), over their admiration over Stone Cold. Britt seems to be a bit naive when she tells Spinelli it’s too late for Jason to be keeping secrets from her. Although not intentional, and it came about suddenly, Jason is indeed struggling with whether or not to keep a secret from Britt or tell her what’s really going on with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and The Five Families.
Britt doesn’t want to believe Jason would keep secrets from her at this stage in the game. She trusts him fully, enough to have him by herself when the verdict of her health was in question. He has supported her and been there when Britt needed someone the most.
Now it’s all up to Jason whether he’s going to be honest with her about what’s to come of if he’ll turn Stone Cold and push her away. Either way, she’s going to get hurt.
Is anyone still keeping score? I think it’s a 5-0 win for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) so far, as Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) credibility and ability as a mobster slips right from his fingertips. Carly has showed him up on every way possible, overcoming his every move. But her latest victory, saving Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), won’t come without a cost.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Cyrus has the upper hand, for now, after Carly sent her men to ambush Renault and his plan to kill Brando and Cyrus.
General Hospital previews show Cyrus has Spinelli tied up and gagged after finding him poking around where Cyrus thinks he shouldn’t the have been. Because of Spinelli’s help and dedication to Carly, they were able to foil Cyrus’ sick plan to commit double murder.
General Hospital rumors indicate that Carly continues climbing up the mob boss ladder, as her instincts roll right off of her, making decisions to stay on top. She cares deeply about her trusted friend, knows she needs him now more than ever and is determined to save his life.
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is in over her head as she awaits bringing her new baby girl, Louise, into the world. These aren’t normal circumstances, which is why Maxie is so scared and stressed. She’s worrying about protecting her daughter from her baby’s own father, Peter August (Wes Ramsey).
General Hospital spoilers reveal Maxie is about to disclose her secret plan to her oldest and most trusted friend, and father of her first born, Georgie. Maxie and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) have a long history of love and companionship. They know each other better than anyone knows them, and have been to Hell and back together. Although Maxie’s plan was supposed to remain hush hush, between Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), things may change now that Britt is off running with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
General Hospital previews show Maxie confiding in Spinelli about how she must protect her baby from Peter. In the previews, Maxie is nervous and reluctant to tell her secret.
General Hospital rumors hint that by Maxie letting Spinelli in on her plan, she could potentially be putting a target on his back. Peter knows how to hurt someone through someone they love- just look at Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), and Detective Chase (Josh Swickard). Peter knows how much Spinelli means to Maxie, and if he gets wind that Spinelli is helping her in any way… GH fans can only imagine what he will do to him! But Maxie needs to confide in someone now that Britt isn’t around.
Will Maxie implicate Spinelli as she leans on him for support?
General Hospital child star, Lily Fisher is expanding her career from daytime dramas to a brand new primetime gig.
Lily made her debut appearance as Georgie Spinelli, daughter or Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson). As most GH children, Fisher’s role as Georgie is recurring.
General Hospital news and spoilers revealed Lily is expanding her career and has just landed a prime time role on the TBS network show, Chad.
Before Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) was killed by Peter August (Wes Ramsey), he was smart enough to get Peter to confess while recording a voice memo on his phone.
Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) has been trying to warn Maxie (Kirsten Storms) for a long time about Peter. Now that the truth is out in the open and Maxie and Peter did not get married, Maxie knows Spinelli and everyone else was looking out for her best interest.
Just because Maxie and Peter are over, doesn’t mean Peter is “done.” Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) knows that Peter is responsible for killing Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), and he’s about to go down for it! Someone must stop Peter before Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) warnings to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) come true.
General Hospital spoilers and rumors indicate Jason will need help from his pal, Spinelli. Since Spinelli is the tech genius of Port Charles with extraordinary hacking abilities, he would be the one to be able to recover a deleted file. Franco for the proof and now it’s up to Jason and Spinelli to make it known whi the guilty party really is.
General Hospital has put a certain storyline on the back burner and fans have been wondering what ever happened to Holly Sutton (Emma Samms).
The last GH fans have seen of Holly was through a video security monitor and she was being held at an undisclosed location.
General Hospital news and spoilers reveal that GH actress, Emmma Samms is ready to return to General Hospital. In a recent podcast on That’s Awesomehttps://www.podcastone.com/thats-awesome-with-steve-and-bradford with Steve and Bradford, Emma Samms revealed to her co-stars and their audience that Holly’s return was supposed to be much more than what fans were able to see. She told Burton and Anderson, “I was supposed to come back,” Samms told hosts Steve Burton (Jason) and Bradford Anderson (Spinelli), implying that her return was due to take place last spring. “It was all scheduled and arranged, then shut down because of the pandemic. And then me getting sick. It stopped it all.”
Last year, Samms reported she had been positive for Covid-19. Now, due to lasting symptoms of the virus, Emma has not been well enough to make the trip to LA in order to conclude her return on GH.
General Hospital news reports Emma’s last appearance on GH was quite interesting due to the fact that the scene was shot from her own guest room. She tells Steve and Bradford, “I did do that one little scene from home, from my guest room,” she said with a laugh. “Which was me being held hostage in some mysterious location. Just me on my own in a room. It was bizarre to do a scene from here that was going to be on there.”
Samms explains she is grateful to Frank Valentini for making that scene happen even though she couldn’t be in La.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Holly’s story is on hold and will continue once everything is safe. “It was so great that they arranged that and made it happen,” she said. “It meant that that story is on hold. And now it’s a matter of when travel is safe and when I’m well enough.”
We look forward to Emma’s return as Holly and finally finishing what was started when she was trapped inside those four walls.
Hallelujah! Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) has seen the light! After all this time, and all of the people who love her have been trying to earn her about Peter August (Wes Ramsey), Maxie has finally had an awakening. Although still hurt that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) could lie to her like that, it seems as though maybe Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) helped talk some sense into Maxie when it comes to Peter and Anna.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Peter’s evil actions aren’t over yet. Maxie has refused to run away with him, and she honesty should fear for her life. He’s manipulative and has always gotten his way with Maxie.
General Hospital rumors suggest Peter goes to extreme measures after he wasn’t able to manipulate Maxie back into his arms and to runaway together. GH fans fear that since Maxie didn’t take Peter’s hand, Peter will take matters into his own hands, abduct Maxie against her will, putting her and their unborn baby in danger.
Could Anna and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) work together to help save Maxie if necessary? Or maybe Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will come swooping in as the heroes?!
