According to the latest General Hospital news reports, GH fans speculate that the actress who portrays Brook Lynn is actually pregnant in real life. Amanda Setton’s last GH exit was over four years ago. Back in 2020, Setton went on maternity leave when expecting her third child with husband, Ryan Lynn. At the time the role of BLQ was recast as Brianna Lane stepped in for Setton.
GH Recasts Pregnant Brook Lynn
Reportedly, GH rumors claim that Amanda Setton is pregnant right alongside her character. This rumor developed after sake went online to discuss the storyline Brook Lynn’s wardrobe. It seems as though jackets and blazers are the way to hide a probably on the set of General Hospital.

According to the latest GH news, a former GH star suffers a devastating loss. The death of Briana Lane’s husband comes as a shock to the soap opera community. Consequently, colleagues and fans alike come together to extend condolences to Briana and her loved ones.
Lane’s appearances on ABC’s General Hospitalbrought forth new fans for the young actress. According to GH recaps, Lane stepped in for Amanda Setton as Brook Lynn Quartermaine. As a result, GH fans got to know Briana. Ultimately, she became known for the iconic scene between Brook Lynn and Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). Will Brook Lynn sing again?! Over two years ago, Brook Lynn Quartermaine suffered from a brutal attack that left her speechless. The songstress received devastating news from doctors after her throat was slashed by the town crazy.
General Hospital recaps recall Carly (Laura Wright) and Michael Corinthos’s (Chad Duell) worst nightmare. The late Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) went on a tear, destroying anything and anyone in her way. Amidst the behind the scenes chaos of the Nurses Ball, Brook Lynn threatened to call the cops on Nelle. Consequently, that’s when Nelle used fabric shears to attack Brook Lynn. Her throat was slashed, causing permanent damage to the vocal cords. Although BLQ’s speaking voice returned with time, the damage was too great to go forward with her singing career.
Will Brook Lynn Sing Again?
General Hospital news reports confirm Wally Kurth and Amanda Setton discussed their musical attributes during a recent Coastal Entertainment zoom event. Amanda opened up about working with her tv dad, Wally Kurth, a Ios a musical duo. During the event, a fan asked Setton if she and Brook Lynn shared the ability to sing. Amanda was happy to admit she can sing, however, she doesn’t sing professionally. “Yeah, I do sing,” Setton confirmed. “But I don’t l professionally sing, and I’ve said to Wally [Kurth; Ned] and Josh [Swickard; Chase] and this other great girl who is on the show right now who plays the role of Blaze and has an amazing voice and stage presence, she is like a firecracker, she is amazing. You have to have a real confidence, and if it’s just us, or we’re in a studio, I could definitely sing.
“But I do think there’s a different level of command over the material and over the craft that one needs to have,” she continued, “and a comfort that I don’t know that I possess. Brook Lynn is such a badass and such a confident woman, I wouldn’t want to do her a disservice, so it just kind of worked out…the storyline, how it’s going. If there’s an opportunity where her vocal cords magically heal, which I’m sure in General Hospital-land, anything’s possible, then we’ll see what happens, but for right now, I am grateful in that sense that it’s not the end all, be all for Brook Lynn, is her voice. I can play badass pretty well. I don’t know that I could play badass singer so great.”
Wally Kurth aka Eddie Maine Weighs In
General Hospital’s Wally Kurth weighed in; “If I have anything to do with, it will be singing together at a Nurses Ball in the future,” Kurth happily told fans. Both parties seem to be on board while expecting a time when Brooklyn’s vocal cords are healed.
We hope that someday Wally and Amanda get the opportunity to show off their musical talents as Ned Ashton and his daughter BLQ!

General Hospital recaps recall Setton’s maternity leave in 2020 brought actress Briana Lane to the role for months. General Hospital spoilers reveal Lane will step into Amanda Setton’s shoes yet again, this time for only one day. Way to go to the cast and crew of General Hospital! TAKE IT HOME, GH!
Briana Lane stepped into the role as a temporary replacement for Amanda Setton. Amanda left in February for maternity leave but her character continued on thanks to Lane.
General Hospital news confirms Briana Lane has announced her General Hospital exit via social media.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Briana Lane steps out of the role of Brook Lynn, as Amanda Setton returns from maternity leave.
Playing the role of Brook Lynn Quartermaine on @GeneralHospital has been an absolute joy + honor. Feel lucky to have been surrounded by such a gifted cast, kind crew + passionate producers these past 4 months + it’s an experience that I will always hold close to my heart ❤️(cont) pic.twitter.com/apLNfC04ZT
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) prides herself on her impulsive side of her personality. But this time, her actions don’t escape her without consequences.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Brook Lynn plans to skip town after making some self destructive decisions. First she sold her shares of ELQ to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), and then she slept with him.
General Hospital rumors suggest Brook Lynn is pregnant with Valentin’s child as a result of their one night stand. General Hospital spoilers and rumors hint that Brook Lynn doesn’t want to tell Valentin what’s going on, which aids in her decision to leave town and head back to Bensonhurst.
Briana Lane has taken on the role of Brook Lynn Quartermaine as Amanda Setton stepped away for maternity leave. There has been no updates in GH news regarding the return of Amanda Setton as BLQ.
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was helping run his family’s company, ELQ until things started to get complicated. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) shocked the Quartermaine family when he revealed himself as the one behind the purchase of Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Briana Lane) shares. At that point, Micheal chose to step down and leave ELQ.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Michael is about to make a career move that involves a dear friend. Sam Morgan’s (Kelly Monaco) focus and attention hasn’t been put into Aurora and the part of the company in which she controls is struggling. She is being pressured to sell her portion of Aurora, but has declined Jax’s (Ingo Rademacher) offer to sell. She explained that she cannot sell because that is Scout’s inheritance and Sam wants her daughter to have a secure future. Sam asked Jax if he would run her portion of Aurora, to which he declined and told her he’d only run if it he owned it.
General Hospital spoilers and rumors suggest Sam will go to Michael with a proposition. Sam asks Michael to run her portion of Aurora, while continuing to own what’s hers. She sees Michael as a savvy business man whom she trusts as a friend and a colleague.
Although his family roles would allow Michael to live off the Corinthos and/or Quartermaine money forever, he’s not the type to sit back and mooch off of his family. Now that he is no longer running ELQ and has a son to care for, it’s likely that Michael will take Sam up on her proposition to run Aurora.
Is Michael ready for the new responsibilities that come with running a company? His experience with ELQ points to YES!
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) just out the nail in the coffin when referring to her relationship with her dad, Ned Ashton (Wally Kurth). Ned is already upset that his daughter sold out the family company to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), making him the new CEO of ELQ. But after Brook Lynn fell victim to Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), Ned put their differences aside because he realized that having his daughter in his life is more important than anything.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Valentin and Brook Lynn slept together after a night of drinks and good conversation.
General Hospital rumors suggest Ned will retract his offer for Brook Lynn to move back into the Quartermaine mansion if and when he finds out about his daughter’s one night rendezvous with his enemy.
General Hospital spoilers show Chase (Josh Swickard) leaving Brook Lynn a message, stating that his couch is still up for grabs. He felt bad about pressuring her to leave, and has not changed his mind and has asked her to come back. Now that she has further burned the bridge with her dad, Brook Lynn Judy might take Chase up on his offer to come back and crash on his couch.
Chase is still pretty broken up about his breakup with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). General Hospital rumors hint that things might start looking up for Chase when it comes to love. If Brook Lynn moves back into Chase’s apartment, GH rumors claim Chase will start to get over Willow, with the possibility of a new romance with Brook Lynn. Both are down and out, will lean on each other, and they may start to develop feelings for one another. They’ve butted head in the past but it looks as though these two have a real spark.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) sold out the family company, ELQ, right from under her father Ned Ashton’s (Wally Kurth) nose. She made the decision to sell her shares of ELQ to Link in order to get out of her toxic recording contract. What she didn’t know was that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was behind the sale, ultimately make him the new CEO of the Quartermaine legacy, ELQ. Her actions caused her to get kicked out by her dad, when the truth came out. Now Ned is trying to get Brook Lynn back into the family home, as she explains that she didn’t betray the family in purpose because she was unaware Valentin was behind the deal.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Ned’s feelings about his daughter coming back to live at home are about to change.
General Hospital rumors suggest Ned will find out she and Valentin slept together, which will erase all sentiments claiming that Brook Lynn wanted nothing to do with Valentin. Now that she’s slept with her father’s enemy, she cannot be trusted in Ned’s eyes.
Brook Lynn turned down the offer to move back home, and it looks as though she is lashing out against her father. Her one night stand with Valentin could now cost Brook Lynn her relationship with her dad. Is there no going back for Ned and Brook Lynn?
