Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) also wants to deceive her baby’s father, but for a much different reason.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Brook Lynn is faking her pregnancy. She isn’t using her unborn child to swindle Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) out of ELQ, and back into the hands of The Quartermaine family; what she’s doing is even worse. Brook Lynn is not actually pregnant at all, but faking to pull one over on Valentin. making him believe he has a child on the way, and telling Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) she’s going to be a big sister again, is just cruel and unnecessary.

Maxie needs to hide her baby from her dangerous father, Peter; and Brook Lynn needs a baby in order to follow through with her plan to decide Valentin, in order to get her hands on the family company. Ned is already excited to be a grandpa and will be devastated when the truth comes out.

Maxie’s plan to make Peter believe their baby dies at birth just might end up playing out perfectly if she can get Brook Lynn to take her baby as her own. It’s a win win for both Maxie and Brook Lynn.
