General Hospital Spoilers: The Final Straw- Nina’s Worst Fears Come True, Sonny Chooses Carly In The End

Sonny chooses Carly

Sonny chooses Carly! As off the wall Sonny’s been acting, there isn’t much he could do to redeem himself. If ever there comes a time when Sonny realizes that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is a callous, vindictive tyrant, he will cut her off. Once Sonny is done, he’s done.

General Hospital previews indicate that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) overhears Nina boast about her engagement to Carly’s ex-husband. Sadly, their entire relationship is based on lies and vengeance, and Sonny can’t see through it- yet. Although Sonny has been warned multiple times, he can’t seem to see the truth. At this stage in the game, Sonny may be too far gone to get out of this death trap of a marriage. The fierce delusions in his head about who Nina is and how she sees him will cost him. Will he wake up before it’s too late?

General Hospital spoilers reveal, Sonny and Nina move forward with wedding plans, while his ex-wife Carly makes tracking down the snitch her priority. It’s Carly’s mission to track down the person who turned her and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) into the SEC. Once the truth about Nina is exposed, Sonny should have a better understanding of who Nina really is. This is the final straw that will make Sonny finally turn his back on Nina and see that his true love has been Carly this whole time.

According to General Hospital rumors, Sonny chooses Carly in the end. What Nina thought she won will soon be lost.

General Hospital Spoilers: Will The Real Sonny Corinthos Please Stand Up? Only Carly Can Save Him From The Delusions In His Head

What happened to Sonny Corinthos Nina says yes Carly Corinthos

What happened to Sonny Corinthos? Is Sonny possessed? Has Sonny Corinthos taken leave of all his senses? Because what we witnessed yesterday was like watching Invasion of the Bodysnatchers (which I’ve never actually seen). Sadly, Sonny’s been a changed man since Nixon Falls. It’s almost like he now suffers from delusional thinking and doesn’t know who he truly is anymore. True, that fall from the bridge caused amnesia and really messed him up. But you know what (or who) else messed up Sonny? Nina.

General Hospital recaps recall how this began and unfolded in Nixon Falls between Sonny and Nina. Honestly, it’s really just plain and simple. Phyllis Caulfield saw a man in need and took Sonny in. She and her husband Lenny cared for Sonny as he tried to navigate his new life. Without any recollection of his own identity, he was unable to give any insight on who is he or where he’s from.

Then, Nina came along and further complicated things. Some Carly haters (and that’s ok, it’s just a show) deny that Nina is a wretched, selfish, manipulator, but her true colors are crystal clear. Anyone who can discovers a human being that is presumed dead, and doesn’t reach out to the family SHE SHARES with said man, must have too many rats in the attic. She took advantage of Sonny, disrespected him and his family by making them believe he was dead, manipulated him, and basically turned him against his own family in her sneaky way. It’s mind boggling how Sonny didn’t see Nina for the wacko that she is after he recovered from amnesia. Therefore, the best explanation suggests that the man can’t be playing with a full deck at this point.

According to General Hospital previews, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) overhears Nina blurt out her relationship status. Disgusted by what she heard, Carly gave a death stare in Nina’s direction. Now, General Hospital spoilers reveal Sonny and Nina are in the peak of their puppy love. From here, things can only go downhill for these two.

How many times did we have to hear Sonny ask Nina to marry him? Furthermore, his sappy little speech about loving everything about her made no sense. The falsities in his dialogue truly made me wonder if I was watch if the same show all those months ago. Really? Nina just let Sonny be? No. She molded and manipulated him into who she wanted him to be. Now, he’s so far gone he’s talking nonsense about things that never happened. In fact, Nina is the opposite of who the delusions in Sonny’s head think she is.

General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Proposed Out Of Pity

Sonny proposed out of pity Sonny and Nina engaged

Was Sonny’s proposal a pity ask? Something about his delivery, and the conversation leading up to the question that gives off a disingenuous vibe. It almost seems like Sonny proposed out of pity!

General Hospital Recap: A couple years ago, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was led astray by a master deceiver. In Nixon Falls, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) took advantage of a vulnerable man who she knew had a family back home. Because of this, the Corinthos family was torn apart. Oddly enough, Sonny thinks he’s fallen for his captor. And now they plan to ride off into the sunset.

Sonny Buys Nina’s Pity Party, But It’ll Cost Her In The End

Nina’s little sob fest was a manipulation tactic to get Sonny on her side. Once again, she played victim as she cried wolf. Then, Sonny’s random marriage proposal took the audience, as well as Nina, by surprise. Although she’s yet to answer him, we should probably just assume that she goes forward with the engagement with her secret hanging over like a dark cloud.

General Hospital rumors storyline speculations hint toward a disastrous outcome for Sonny and Nina. It’s clear that their lives don’t align. Love should come naturally. Neither party should have to jump through hoops in hope for peace. In relationships, family dynamics play a major role in the health of the couple’s relationship. So, because Sonny’s entire family cannot stand her, it just doesn’t seem realistic for Nina and Sonny when so much stands between them.

According to the latest General Hospital rumors, Sonny was influenced by Nina’s pity party and sheer desperation for validation drive him to blurt our a marriage proposal. She was really laying it on thick. Obviously, she guilt tripped him after he voiced his stance on Carly, Michael and Willow. She was unhappy that he declared himself Switzerland, and not her full supporter. It’s a classic move from an entitled, self-serving person to make someone feel guilty for having boundaries. Luckily for Nina, this worked in her favor. Now, GH fans wonder if Sonny proposed out of pity.

Let’s be real here. Would Sonny have proposed if it wasn’t for their conversation?

Sonny and Nina wedding Carly and Drew wedding Sonny Carly Drew Nina double wedding Port Charles

A Port Charles double wedding?! …A double wedding takes place in Port Charles! There’s never a dull moment in Port Charles. Its residents have jam-packed lives, consumed with careers, significant others, children, and dramatic daily lives. Blackmail, kidnapping, baby switching, memory mapping, and whatever else is just another day in Port Charles. Without a doubt, Sonny and Nina’s engagement is just a constituent of the next big bombshell revelation.

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) must act fast to save themselves from imprisonment. The problem is, they’re at a loss for how to vindicate themselves. Gracefully, Drew suggested that Carly testify against him because he sees no way they both can get out of this. And of course, Carly feelings are reciprocal to Drew’s sentiments. Mutually, neither plan on taking an, “every man for himself,” type of approach.

Meanwhile, as Carly and Drew weigh their best options to keep themselves out of prison, Carly’s ex-husband plans a wedding. Fans were in shock after Monday’s episodes. According to today’s General Hospital recaps, Sonny and Nina have a discussion that leads to his unexpected request. Today, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) asked Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to marry him.

General Hospital fans are divided. While some took this as good news, others can’t believe Sonny wants to marry Nina after everything she’s done. Regardless, these two are headed to the altar.

Is A Port Charles Double Wedding Headed Our away?

General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny And Nina Get Engaged! Carly Exposes Nina And Ends Future Together

Sonny and Nina get engaged

Sonny and Nina get engaged!?! …Carly ends Sonny and Nina’s engagement! Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos’s (Laura Wright) love was rare. It’s not that their life together was picture perfect. On the contrary, it’s the way they came back from those hardships. As a couple, Sonny and Carly understood one another better than they understood themselves. It was always them against the world, while their united front made them stronger than they were before whatever storm they faced. A love that doesn’t just die.

Carly Helps Sonny Dodge A Bullet

According to General Hospital rumors, Nina and Sonny continue to do this little dance as they pretend their individual lives fit one another’s. But the truth is, Nina doesn’t belong in Sonny’s world. She has no clue what it’s like to be married to the mob. And frankly, she doesn’t have what it takes. As they say, love is blind. Or as I see it, they bonded during their own major struggles. It was then that and found comfort in each other’s company. Between Sonny’s amnesia and Nina’s lies, they coasted along and landed where they are today, and you know the rest!

Despite the pushback they received, their relationship is hanging on. In fact, Sonny believes they’re not only hanging on as a couple, but thriving and ready for the next chapter. General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Sonny and Nina get engaged. They’re still in this foggy haze of love, unable to see their future clearly. Evidently, Nina doesn’t have what it takes to be with Sonny. She’s already sealed her fate but neither know it yet. But once Carly exposes Nina for leaving information to the SEC, her ex-husband and her worst enemy’s engagement comes to an end. Once he knows it was her who tattled on Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), Sonny won’t see Nina in the same light.

General Hospital Spoilers: Nina’s Guilty Conscience Is Conditional, With No True Remorse

Nina’s guilty conscience

Every other day Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) cries as she plays the victim. And every other day, Nina reflects on what she’s done. She feels sorry (mainly for herself) for a short time, but then something comes over her (usually thoughts of Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright)). Then, as anyone can guess, she’s back at it with cruel intentions. This proves that Nina’s guilty conscience is conditional. Meaning, she only feels bad for the awful things she does when it’s convenient for herself.

Recent General Hospital spoilers tease that Nina already has a change of heart. She knows what she did was wrong. However, only once she realized that hurting Carly and Drew will not only hurt Willow, but that it’ll come back on herself, did Nina feel some kind of regret. Furthermore, according to GH previews, Nina’s true colors show yet again. An upcoming scene shows Nina admitting to Carly, “and to think I felt guilty,” and Carly replies, “guilty about what?” Apparently, Nina justifies what’s she’s already done and blames Carly again. Nina felt bad for a minute, but it’s always Carly’s fault for why Nina’s guilty conscience falters. And we say that with sarcasm and the intent to point out Nina’s obviously point of view.

So what makes Nina fall back on her guilt admission? What could Carly have possibly done this time to justify Nina’s cruel intentions?

General Hospital Spoilers: Drew’s Revelation Points Sonny In Nina’s Direction

Drew leads Sonny to Nina Ned Sonny Drew Carly

Drew leads Sonny to Nina! …Almost all of us can say that we know what it feels like to be wrongfully accused. On the other hand, how many of us can admit that we’ve wrongfully accused someone while overlooking the real culprit? Surely, it’s not always easy to admit when we’ve made a big mistake, but even still, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) rises to the occasion.

There’s so much drama going on in Port Charles right now. As GH recaps recall, Drew returned to port Charles fresh from a rescue mission. And it wasn’t just any rescue, but an epic victory in many ways. By helping stop Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), the rescue crew saved the world. Most importantly, the rescue also brought Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) home so that she can help save Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) life. As if Willow’s situation wasn’t enough to keep her family’s focus, an unfortunate situation weighs on her loved ones. Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain are under investigation for insider trading.

Drew Leads Sonny to Nina

According to General Hospital spoilers, Drew has a revelation. Despite the fact that he laid into Ned Ashton (Wally Kurth) and accused him of turning him and Carly in, Drew stops to think about things. General Hospital previews and spoilers indicate that things don’t quite add up when trying to justify putting the blame on Ned. First of all, the timing was way off. Ned is a cutthroat business man, but he also values family. It’s unlikely that he’d turn in the mother of the groom. Even Ned’s ELQ dedication wouldn’t drive him to spoiler Michael’s (Chad Duell) wedding to his dying fiancé. Secondly, Drew wasn’t even in town when the sh!t hit the fan. The latest GH spoilers and rumors tease that Drew stops and thinks about the situation at hand and how Ned’s involvement makes no sense. As Nina Reeves (Xynthia Watros) continues to weasel her way into Willow’s life, she still holds onto her secret. But according to GH rumors, Drew’s suspicions lead Sonny to Nina!

Will Sonny be the one to figure out Nina turned Carly and Drew into the SEC?!

Sonya Eddy and Jackie Zeman

Sonya Eddy and Jackie Zeman …Although we have lost some incredible people over the years, losing these two General Hospital icons hits hard. Maybe because these extraordinary women were taken so suddenly. Additionally, their status with General Hospital added to the devastation.

Although Sonya Eddy was seldomly recurring, she was still an active cast member. Epiphany Johnson’s relevance to the storylines remained ever present, even up to her untimely death.

As for Jackie Zeman, Bobbie Spencer was still heavily involved in current storylines. In fact, GH co-star and friend to Zeman, Laura Wright, reflected on the last scene filmed with her on-screen mother. In a recent serious of tweets, Laura Wright (Carly Spencer Corinthos) shared her most recent scene filmed with Jackie. Sadly, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) wedding was the last time Wright shared a scene with the late Jackie Zeman.

As accusations fly, Ned swears he didn’t turn Carly (Corinthos) Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) into the SEC. But it’s going to take a lot to convince the Q’s. Obviously, Ned would do anything to ensure ELQ’s longevity and success and it shows. Because of his dedication to the family business, Ned’s family believes he’s guilty.
