Finally, the celebration is here! Even though ABC’s General Hospital marked its 60th year back in April, unforeseen circumstances caused a delay. But the strike is over and it’s time to get hyped! This piece of American culture is recognized this Thursday night at 10PM eastern/standard time on ABC.

General Hospital news and spoilers indicate that Thursday night’s special will include a special segment on GH star Kelly Monaco’s Dancing With The Stars journey. Reportedly, Kelly was the very first to ever win the iconic DWTS Mirrorball Trophy 🏆. She and her professional dance partner, Alec Mazo took the win in 2005 but were challenged by runner up, John O’Hurley. Later, Kelly was invited back to DWTS for a special All Stars season in 2012.

GH spoilers reveal that Kelly Monaco shared the news via Instagram. Additionally, Monaco spilled the tea that her old dance partner Val Chmerkovskiy appears in ABC’s GH primetime special.

We hope you look forward to Thursday night’s primetime special, featuring this legendary piece of our culture. Please be sure to watch General Hospital’s 60 year anniversary celebration on its own network, ABC, at 10PM. Is GH Alum Vanessa Marcil Headed to Dancing with the Stars?

VanessaDWTS1Dancing with the Stars is one of the most talked about and watched show on television. A few of our very own General Hospital stars have made their way to the ballroom, showing fans what they are made of, outside of the set of General Hospital.

Kelly Monaco (Samantha Morgan) was the first every DWTS Champion, and the first of our GH cast members to have competed on the show. Ingo Rademacher (Jasper Jacks/Jax) and Antonio Sabato Jr. (Jagger Cates) also were contestants on ABC’s DWTS.

After posts on Instagram from GH alum, Vanessa Marcil (Brenda Barrett), General Hospital rumors started flying, claiming that she will be on the next season of DWTS. Marcil posted a photo of professional dancer, Maksim Chmerkovskiy with a mystery woman, captioned, “uh oh who’s this?” She also posted a photo of herself and Maksim, together, with her face visible.

Is Vanessa trying to give fans a hint? Will she be the next General Hospital star to hit the ballroom? General Hospital Blog will keep you updated on the status of Vanessa and Dancing with the Stars.

Is Maksim Chmerkovskiy (Anton) Sticking Around GH?

Dancing with the Stars Professional, Maksim Chmerkovskiy made a guest appearance on General Hospital for the Nurses Ball. He played Choreographer and dance partner to Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco), Anton. Monaco partnered up with Mak’s brother Val Chmerkovskiy last season on Dancing with the Stars All Stars.

Chmerkovskiy “had a blast” om the set of General Hospital and alludes to the fact that this wasn’t the last time GH viewers will see him on the show. “I had a blast, but you know, this relationship is not over. We’ve talked about our future and… just watch GH.”

Nothing more has been mentioned or confirmed by the Pro dancer or ABC. Maksim admits that acting is something that he wants to do in his career.

Kelly Monaco and Dance Partner Val Interview
