General Hospital News and Spoilers: GH Representative Confirms Avery Pohl’s GH Exit

GH confirms Avery Pohl’s GH exit Avery Pohl leaving General Hospital
Is Avery Pohl leaving General Hospital? -GH Representative Confirms Avery Pohl’s GH Exit

A shocking new development has reached social media outlets and major changes have hit Port Charles. Esme Prince and Spencer Cassadine are presumed dead, which means both Pohl and Chavez are off the canvas.

GH fans are conflicted as some want Esme gone because she wreaks havoc on some fan-favorite characters. On the other hand many GH fans don’t want to see her go. For me, Esme is incredible. Avery Pohl is an excellent actress and shines in every scene.

The recent GH news surrounding my favorite little villainess caught GH fans off guard. First, something doesn’t seem right, and the math just ain’t mathing. Meaning, this doesn’t add up. First, Avery Kristen Pohl is a phenomenal actress. Second, she initially signed a 1 year contact in August of 2021. And in June of 2022, Pohl signed on with the Soap Opera for 3 years.

So, what gives? She plays a villain and does exactly what’s she’s supposed to do, and that’s make people hate her. Often times we don’t just hate a villain, but we LOVE to hate them. Or, we hate what they do but not who they are. That’s exactly where I stand with Esme Prince.

Is Avery Pohl Leaving General Hospital?

According to GH comings and goings, Spencer and Esme are presumed dead. Nicholas Chavez is off filming a Nextflix series but is said to return after a few months. That left fans wondering about Esme’s fate. According to Soap Opera Digest, a GH spokesperson confirms Avery Pohl’s GH exit. Although the timing doesn’t add up with her 3 year contract, the GH Representative confirms that Pohl is out as Esme Prince.

Sasha makes Cody tell Mac
Sasha makes Cody tell Mac

Sasha’s surely done her fair share of going through it and grieving great losses. From addiction to abandonment, Sasha’s world seemed so dark. But even in the darkness, light lives on the other side of at least one of those closed doors.

Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) was on her way rock bottom when Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) stumbled into her life. At first, things between them were not great. They kind of started off on the wrong foot, but they were both dealing with their own issues. Sasha seemed to be getting her life together as Gladys managed her conservatorship. Meanwhile, Cody struggled with losing Britt, his paternity, and even Selina Wu (Lydia Look). So if first impressions mean as much as people say that they do, then Cody and Sasha are in for a bumpy ride. However, something tells me that they will beat the odds.

General Hospital Spoilers: Whose Side Is He On Anyway? Cyrus Reacts To Sonny’s Arrest

Cyrus reacts to Sonny’s arrest Cyrus Drew Sonny Pentonville

Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) needs to pick a lane! Is he or isn’t he a new man? Renault is ever so grateful to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) after he saved his life. Because if it wasn’t for Drew’s quick thinking and advocacy, Cyrus might have died. So, if he’s so grateful to Drew, why is Cyrus about to get under his skin? Things become clear when Cyrus reacts to Sonny’s arrest.

Ever since Drew arrived in Pentonville, Cyrus has tried to get him to join his fellowship group. He preaches the good word and swears he’s now a righteous man. However, something’s obviously off about his belief system, and it shows. At any given moment Cyrus can go from a bully-blasting defender or a grateful victim, to an instigator, the perpetrator, and well, the problem. Despite his proclamation, Cyrus still shows signs of his unhinged, deceitful and deadly behavior as before.

How long can Cyrus keep up this act? That is of course if it is an act. According to recent General Hospital spoilers, Cyrus reacts to Sonny’s arrest. He gets under Drew’s skin, the very same Drew that Cyrus said he owed his life to. As the drama intensifies in Port Charles, secret plots unravel, exposing everything and all connections. Apparently, Sonny’s arrest kickstarts the process as it’s now down to the wire.

Moreover, GH rumors claim that we get closer to learning the truth about Cyrus, Sonny, Pikeman, and more. GH spoilers for 9/5/23 indicate that Drew sees through Cyrus’s contrarian motives as he discredits Sonny’s protective services. But who knows, maybe Cyrus has it all wrong?
