Ultimately, Maxie receives the brunt of the backlash. Tracy ordered Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) to swipe Deception’s files. In fact, she wasn’t just ordered, but threatened is more like it. I believe Tracy said, “or else,” to her granddaughter. Now the company they so love and support every day is at risk. Inevitably, if Lucy and her team don’t act fast, all their hard work and accomplishments will be lost because of Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).

In the 1990’s Julia Barrett founded Port Charles’s own cosmetics company, Deception. She launched the business with Dominique (Shell Danielson) and Scotty Baldwin and hired Julia’s sister Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) as the very first ‘Face of Deception.’ According to General Hospital history, when Dominique passed away in 1994, Scotty and Julian left the company, and left Lucy to run things as CEO. From there, the rest is history.

Fast forward twenty some years and Deception has found a new face and is ready to launch the modern day version of the cosmetic company. Things were starting to fall into place for Lucy when she discovered Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). Sasha was the perfect woman to represent Deception and Lucy was ready to run with it. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Lucy are working together to make sure this project becomes a success and they are counting on Sasha to help make that happen. Sasha is going through some major drama in her life after she and Michael broke up. Sasha is feeling overwhelmed and caved into being persuaded into taking drugs.

The Face Of Deception

Sasha is headed down a dark path after seeing the pressure of the demanding life of a model and the stress of ending her relationship with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). She and Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) made a tough decision to fake an affair in order to push along Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael in their quest to gain custody of Wiley.

General Hospital spoilers reveal things will get a Hell of a lot worse for Sasha before they ever begin to get better. She was offered drugs as a way to get her through her modeling shoots for Deception. Michael is preoccupied with challenging Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) and her new husband, Julian Jerome (William DeVry), in the courtroom as they go about their custody battle. Although Sasha’s selfless act is for the greater good, her decision will ultimately serve as a form of self destruction for the young model.
