General Hospital fans have been wondering why they haven’t seen Dev Cerci lately in Port Charles. The teen group just isn’t the same without him, as Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), Cameron Webber (William Lipton), and Trina Robinson (Sydney Makayla), go through typical teen drama, mixed with the threat of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), and dealing with the loss of Trina’s father, Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews).

In the 1990’s Julia Barrett founded Port Charles’s own cosmetics company, Deception. She launched the business with Dominique (Shell Danielson) and Scotty Baldwin and hired Julia’s sister Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil) as the very first ‘Face of Deception.’ According to General Hospital history, when Dominique passed away in 1994, Scotty and Julian left the company, and left Lucy to run things as CEO. From there, the rest is history.
Fast forward twenty some years and Deception has found a new face and is ready to launch the modern day version of the cosmetic company. Things were starting to fall into place for Lucy when she discovered Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson). Sasha was the perfect woman to represent Deception and Lucy was ready to run with it. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Lucy are working together to make sure this project becomes a success and they are counting on Sasha to help make that happen. Sasha is going through some major drama in her life after she and Michael broke up. Sasha is feeling overwhelmed and caved into being persuaded into taking drugs.
The Face Of Deception

Lucy Coe will have to go to great lengths to keep Deception in a positive lime light, and by doing so it’s likely she will reach out to Brenda to come to Port Charles.

This is a recipe for disaster, and Carly is the one who got it cooking. Carly Corinthos (Laura wright), wife of Port Charles mobster, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was relieved when her daughter, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) disclosed that she doesn’t want to move to Australia with her father Jasper ‘Jax’ Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). Carly’s solution to keeping her daughter and Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) safe from Sonny’s enemies is to keep them home schooled, hiring one of their teacher’s to tutor Joss and Dev while they are avoiding public places such as school. Carly asked Joss if there was a teacher in particular whom she thought would be a good fit for the job. Josslyn immediately got a suspicious look on her face, indicating exactly who she had in mind.
General Hospital spoilers hint that Carly’s plan to keep her daughter safe may back fire but not in a way she would think. It seems as if Josslyn is a little smitten with Mr. Phillips (Mark Lawson). Joss and Mr. Dustin Phillips don’t have a lot of history or even an encounter that would be considered inappropriate thus far. However, Dustin was there for Josslyn in her time of grief over Oscar Nero (Garren Stitt). Dustin found Josslyn crying while visiting Oscar’s grave. Dustin offered condolences and support for the grieving student. He encouraged her to keep a journal of her thoughts and feelings as a coping mechanism for grief.
General Hospital rumors claim that Dustin and Joss working so closely together on a regular basis will cause some awkward tension, possibly leading to feelings that are not appropriate for a teacher/student relationship. It remains to be seen how this will play out, if Josslyn is the one who catches feelings, whether or not Dustin reciprocates, or if Dustin makes an inappropriate move on Josslyn first.
Dustin seems like he has always had an odd side to him, like he has a dark side or at least a sneaky one. Will Dustin jeopardize his relationship with Lulu (Emme Rylan) while teaching Joss privately?
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has a lot going on right now as he and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) are focused on protecting their families from drug lord mobster, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) who recently was transferred to Pentonville. Cyrus managed to get himself transferred to Pentonville in order to get himself close to Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry). Cyrus is out for revenge on Jordan and Taggert (Real Andrews), but he also has a target on Sonny’s back which has been ordered by a secret partner of Renault’s over seas.
General Hospital spoilers previously hinted that the boy Sonny has welcomed into his home, Dev Cerci) (Ashton Arbab), may be in Port Charles for other reasons than initially claimed. Now that there is a full blown mob war that has hit Port Charles, there has been talk of Dev leaving for boarding school. If it were up to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), Dev wouldn’t be going anywhere! With Sonny’s focus on the mob, it was decided that Dev will be sent off to boarding school in order to make things easier on the Corinthos family by not having to protect Dev not only form Cyrus, but to protect his identity as well.
Is Dev (Ashtom Arbab) leaving General Hospital?
Dev and Joss discussed his upcoming departure and it was obvious she wasn’t happy with the news. General Hospital rumors suggest that Dev will not go through with leaving. But what stops him? Will Josslyn convince Dev to stay in Port Charles, or will something go down at the school dance that would change the direction of Carly’s (Laura wright) plans for Dev.
Trina Robinson (Sydney Makayla) came to Port Charles with no family ties to anyone in town. She quickly became friends with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and their group of friends including Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton).
GH fans have been speculating, trying to come up with a family in or formerly resided in Port Charles that could help get a bigger picture of Trina’s background. Previously, General Hospital rumors claimed Trina is the daughter of Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and his ex, Gia Campbell (Marisa Ramirez). This week on General Hospital, General Hospital spoilers reveal Trina will receive a visit from a family member. It’s unclear if Trina will know this person or if this will be a shock. Could she really be a Cassadine? Other General Hospital rumors suggest Trina is related to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Aunt Stella (Vernee Watson). Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) is also a possibility. He could be her Father, or, if Gia is her Mother, Taggert would be Trina’s uncle. Which would make sense if Trina is the daughter of Nikolas Cassadine and Gia Campbell. GH fans are anxious to finally learn who is related to Trina. Find out this week on General Hospital!
Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) cousin Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) came to Port Charles claiming to simply want to visit family, see how Mike (Max Gail) is doing and so on. She gave Sonny a sob story about how she misses her late son, Brando (Johnny Wactor). All the while, General Hospital spoilers have been hinting that Gladys has ulterior motives. She is currently taking money from Sonny in an agreement that she pretends to be Dev Cerci’s (Ashton Arbab) Grandmother while he stays with the Corinthos family.
In recent General Hospital spoilers, it has been revealed that Brando, Gladys Corbin’s son, is actually alive and showed up in the middle of the shoot out. Brando is the gunman who saved Carly from the shots fired but things may not be what they seem. Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) may already be onto Brando, after she asked him if he is working for Sonny or the enemy. He saved Carly (Laura Wright) no doubt, but he could have only done that to try and play Sonny and make them think he is on their side.
Brando could definitely be working for the enemy, especially since we were led to believe he was dead, but there is possibly a bigger picture. General Hospital spoilers indicate he could actually be one of the good guys. It’s quite possible Brando had to fake his death in order to stay incognito, while working on taking down Sonny’s enemies from the inside.
New General Hospital rumors claim Brando and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) may know one another beyond being relatives. GH rumors that Brando could also work for the WSB, and has ties with Dante from there.
It remains to be seen which side Brando is on, but as the mob story unfolds, it’ll become very clear where he stands.
