Dante Falconeri strife in Port Charles with an concedes identity as he didn’t want it know that he was mobster, Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) son.
General Hospital news reveals Dominic Zamprogna left his role as Dante Falconeri in 2018 by choice. Zamprogna was not feeling confident in his work and questioned his presence there since it was al he had known. Zamprogna explains that he arrived in LA already hired as Dante Falconeri, son of Sonny Corinthos and Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero).
In an interview with Soaps In Depth, Zamprogna discloses that just decision to leave GH in 2018 has much to do with opportunity, (or lack there of). He had felt very busy and his tone was consumed with filming at GH, which gave him no time to explore other opportunities. He said, “I came down to L.A. with that job,” he said of his GH gig. “I knew nobody. I knew no casting directors, nothing.” Dominic Zamprogna also disclosed at at some point he wasn’t feeling confident in his own work- and that he felt he was feeling stressed when performing his scenes. He went on to reveal, “I went from going up on that stage and having a great time to going up on that stage and stressing out and just not feeling like I was doing good work. That’s the other reason why I wanted to step back. I felt like I needed to clear my head. The whole thing that I realized when I left is, ‘Do I really want to act?’ It affected me so much.”
Fast forward to August 2020 and here we have something good come out of this crazy year! Dominic Zamprogna has graced us with his on screen presence as he has returned to General Hospital as Dante Falconeri.
Genera Hospital spoilers and rumors indicated there is much to come to light regarding where Dante has been and where his character will be in terms of his personal work health, his family life, and his career. Dante and Lulu are currently divorced but that doesn’t mean their love story is over. General Hospital rumors hint there will be an emotional reunion between Dante and Lulu, full of love, happiness, anger, sadness, and more. Not to mention, Lulu has moved on with Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) and Dante’s old family friend, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane, Amanda Setton), is back on Port Charles.
Will Lulu find herself back in Dante’s arms when he finally comes home to his family?
As just announced yesterday, General Hospital’s Dominic Zamprogna will be returning to GH to reprise his role as Dante Falconeri. Dante, son of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero), and estranged husband of Lulu Spencer Falconeri (Emme Rylan), will be returning to Port Charles after being away for mental health reasons.
General Hospital spoilers and rumors hint that things won’t go smoothly for the iconic Daytime TV couple Dante and Lulu, right off the bat. Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) is currently romantically involved with Lulu, however, he and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) have a history. It’s hard to say what type of emotions will be coming from Lulu and Dante individually as well as parents. Lulu may feel abandoned and let Dante know she has moved on with Dustin. She could also be the one wanting to reconnect but Dante May be hesitant. Brook Lynn and Dustin fit in as they both have history with Dante and Lulu. Brook Lynn and Dante go way back to their old neighborhood. Could Dante and Brook Lynn’s history bring them closer?
General Hospital rumors claim Dante and Lulu will want to work on becoming a family again, leaving Dustin in the dust. This makes perfect opportunity for Brook Lynn to come swooping in, claiming her “Dusty.”
Fans have long awaited the homecoming of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Olivia Falconeri’s (Lisa LoCicero) first son, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zampgrogna).
General Hospital news and spoilers reveal breaking GH news as Daytime Confidential confirms the return of Dominic Zamprogna to reprise his role as Dante. It has been stated that “set side sources” have confirmed this news.
Dante is currently away from home, his estranged wife Lulu (Emme Rylan), his mother, Olivia, and all his family close friends. He is away as he tries to get treatment for his PTSD.
After visiting a psychic reader and learning news of her son, Dante Falconeri), Olivia Falconeri Ashton (Lisa LoCicero) wasn’t feel g great about what the psychic has said. She turned to friend, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) for someone to lean on. Olivia’s husband Ned Ashton (Wally a Kurth), wasn’t too happy about his wife confiding in another man.
General Hospital spoilers indicate Olivia’s newfound friendship/connection with Robert doesn’t air will work Ned. Right now, Olivia’s man focus is on her son, Dante. Dante left Port Charles in an attempt to focus on his mental health so that he wouldn’t let his PTSD effect his family. Which ultimately that is what he let happened. By Dante leaving his wife, Lulu Spencer Falconeri (Emme Rylan) and their family, his decision is most definitely having an effect on the ones he loves. Olivia misses and worries for her son, Lulu longs for a life and love that once was, and has tried to find it in Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson). Dustin seems to have more chemistry with Lulu’s life long rival, and woman from Dustin’s past, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton). And Dante and Lulu’s son Rocco misses his father.
General Hospital rumors claim Olivia will continue to see Robert as a friend that lends a listening ear, and Ned will grow more and more irritated over the fact that his wife is growing closer to Robert. For Olivia, talking to Robert is more about being able to talk about Dante, in hopes that someday he will return home.
General Hospital news and rumors hint that Robert may be of assistance to Olivia when trying to bring Dante home. It has been rumored that talk of actor, Dominic Zamprogna, returning to his role as Dante Falconeri could potentially happen soon after filming resumes for General Hospital.
Ned and Olivia could face a rocky road ahead in their relationship but it shouldn’t be anything they can not overcome. If GH rumors regarding Dante’s return turn out to be true, it’s likely Robert will have something to do with aiding in his homecoming, and Ned will have nothing to be jealous of or worry about when it comes to Olivia and Robert’s friendship.
It has been a long rode with many twists and turns when it comes to how far we all have come during this global pandemic. In the beginning, General Hospital fans were warned the show would run out of episodes to air while our country was on lockdown due to Covid-19. It was originally thought that the quarantine would last only about two weeks, halting film production in LA County, including Daytime TV studios, such as Prospect Studios, where General Hospital is filmed. One thing led to another and our country’s health status took an unexpected turn. TPTB over at ABC and General Hospital, made an executive decision to incorporate flashbacks into each remaining episode in order to draw out the air time of new material. The plan worked, and GH was able to air new episodes until May 22nd. Since then, GH fans have been able to enjoy many of their favorite eras on General Hospital as the repeats took us down memory lane. Other networks such as CBS have already restarted film production, however, had to take a break to expand testing for Covid-19. General Hospital news and spoilers have indicated they will soon be next to return to work and begin filming new episodes. Many of us have wondered whether or not time will continue on as if there hasn’t been a break. It’s hard to say if the writers at GH will flash forward at least three months, and catch up fans on the major story lines. One story in particular that has been talked about quite a bit involves the possible return of Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). In the event that the writers pick up timing where it was left off, General Hospital rumors hint there could be major GH news regarding Father’s Day. General Hospital rumors claim that when new episodes begin again, Dominic Zamprogna will return to his role as Dante Falconeri. In a previous article from General Hospital Blog, GH news and spoilers report that Zamprogna talked about a possible contract with GH, and bringing Dante home. In recent episodes, Dante’s mom, Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero), has been stressed out that she cannot her ahold of her son. Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) is also struggling at times Dealing with how their son, Rocco, misses and needs his father. Either way, if the lives of those living in Port Charles pick up where they left off, or if time hops a few months, General Hospital rumors and comings and goings suggest Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will receive a heartwarming gift which comes at a delicate time for the Corinthos family, regarding what is going on with Sonny’s father, Mike Corbin (Max Gail). The universe works in mysterious ways and Sonny may finally see the silver lining in losing his father if in turn, his son, Dante, comes home to the family.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is missed by his mom, Olivia Falconeri Ashton (Lisa LoCicero), his children, and although Lulu (Emme Rylan) has seemingly moved on with Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson), she missed the him too. Olivia wants nothing more than for her son to come home to his family. General Hospital news and spoilers confirm Zamprogna told, Soaps In Depth, that he is ready to bring Dante home. General Hospital spoilers reveal, in an exclusive interview, Zamprogna discloses that Executive Producer, Frank Valentini knows he is ready and is open for a contract. Dante has been name dropped often lately which could indicted plans of a return. Things are up in the air at the moment as GH has two episodes left before the hiatus due to Covid-19. It could be many months before we see new episodes of General Hospital. General Hospital news reports the cast and crew will not return to work until around August.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) has left Port Charles to try and heal from PTSD. He has been ignoring letters from his mom, Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero), and his estranged wife, Lulu Spencer Falconeri (Emme Rylan) has moved on with Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson). Dustin and Lulu’s frenemy, Brook Lynn Ashton Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) have history, and now that they are both in Port Charles, General Hospital rumors claim these two will rekindle an old flame, leaving Lulu out of the equation. That shouldn’t matter soon as there is fresh General Hospital news regarding Lulu’s great love, Dante.
General Hospital news and spoilers reveal GH’s Dominic Zamprogna days he is willing to enter into a contract with General Hospital and bring his character Dante Falconeri back home to his family. General Hospital spoilers reveal, in the May 4th edition of Soaps In Depth, Zamorogna states, “Frank Valentini, (Executive Producer) knows I’m ready to come home,” Zamprogna tells SID, “And I’d be totally open to a contract. There’s so much potential with the character and the story right now. With everything they’ve done since Dante’s been gone, there are so many options and they’d all be fun to play.”
There we have it! Dominic Zamprogna is ready and has expressed his thoughts on bringing Dante back to Port Charlie’s to GH Executives. It’s only a matter of time before TPTB make a decision on the status of Zamprogna with the show. General Hospital Blog will keep fans up to date on any General Hospital news, regarding GH comings and goings, if and when Dante will make is way back.
General Hospital spoilers had previously revealed a past between Brooklyn Ashton Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) when they bumped into one another at The Floating Rib. Dustin stepped up to protect Brooklyn when she had an altercation with her music producer. That’s when Lulu Spencer Falconeri (Emme Rylan) discovered her boyfriend, Dustin, and her long time enemy, Brooklyn have a past.
It’s obvious that Lulu still cares for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), as she confided in Laura while upset about a memory of her ex-husband. Lulu mentioned to her mom, Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis) that her Dante has been away for a year already, and wondered if he will ever get well from his PTSD. Meanwhile, Brooklyn was giving the low down about Dante and Lulu to Dustin over at Kelly’s. General Hospital news and spoilers hint that this could be a clue Dante may be fixing to return to Port Charles in the near future.
General Hospital spoilers hint that Brooklyn and Dustin’s past won’t always remain there. As Dustin learns more and more about Lulu and Dante, General Hospital rumors claim he and Brooklyn will get closer. General Hospital rumors also claim that upon Dante’s return to Port Charles, he will shake things up between his ex-wife, Lulu, and her new boyfriend, Dustin, driving a wedge and pushing Dustin closer to Brooklyn.
If Dante returns, could he and Lulu reunite and be a family again? Nothing would make Dante’s mom, Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero) happier. General Hospital and Dante and Lulu fans would be ecstatic to see these two get back together.
There is only so much stress and despair one person can handle and in the upcoming weeks, Port Charles mobster and family man, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be approaching that point.
General Hospital spoilers reveal GH episodes on March 23rd-March 26th, Sonny will receive an urgent call and receive bad news. In multiple General Hospital rumors, there are claims the news has much to do with Sonny’s dad, Mike Corbin (Max Gail) as he takes a turn for the worse at Turning Woods. General Hospital rumors speculate Mike’s ultimate death could lead to a possible return got Sonny’s TV son, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
General Hospital rumors suggest there is more trouble ahead for Sonny as Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) grows increasingly fearful for her children during this threatening time in Sonny’s organization. When replying to her daughter Joss Jack’s (Eden McCoy) question asking if she ever thinks about bailing (on Sonny), Carly tells Joss, “Yes, every minute of every day,” and the continues on by disclosing, “there is no staying to the bitter end for me…”
Carly makes is very clear to Josslyn that the love she has for her kids supersedes her love for Sonny. Carly goes on to imply she would do what she had to do (leave Sonny) if the climate was right to warrant such action.
General Hospital rumors indicate Sonny and Carly will begin to face major issues as the threat of danger increases as does Carly’s fear for the safety of her family. This will ultimately take it’s toll on Sonny. The pressures of Cyrus Renault, protecting his family, the condition of his father, and not having his wife, Carly, all in will weigh on Sonny. General Hospital rumors hint Sonny is headed for a breakdown. Certain life situations can trigger a breakdown or a manic episode and as it’s known, Sonny sufferers from Bi-polar Disorder. Will Carly be able to hang on to Sonny a little tighter once she sees what this all is doing to him?
The mob situation is becoming intense in Port Charles as Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) go head to head with mobster, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
Sonny paid Cyrus a visit in Pentonville, they both went back and forth warning one another about the next move. Sonny intercepted a huge shipment that belong to Cyrus. Cyrus asked Sonny what his plan was for the shipment, Sonny warned him not to worry about it. Then, Jason Morgan blew up the entire shipment. If Cyrus wasn’t already out for blood, he most definitely is now. Cyrus warned Sonny to quit while he was ahead, and mentioned his partners over seas.
This brings us back to a few months ago when General Hospital spoilers indicated Jason’s instincts were right regarding Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab). General Hospital spoilers previously tied Dev to The Balkan/Theo Offman (Daniel Benzali). Since the writers put Dev’s Turkish decent up front and center quite a few times, it seems as though it was a hint toward what’s ahead. General Hospital rumors started, making claims that Dev is actually the grandson of The Balkan, and is in Port Charles to get revenge on Sonny and his family. Sonny’s son Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) was the one who killed Dev’s alleged father, Aleksander Janacek (Antonie Knoppers). Dev’s mother is rumored to be the one and only, Brenda Barrett (Vanessa Marcil). Jason tried to make Sonny more cautious with Dev and Sonny assured Jason everything was fine. Jason’s instincts are usually on point. If so, there would end p being an ulterior motive for Dev to be in Port Charles. The question is, is Dev aware of the situation regarding The Balkan and his own Father and their connection to the Corinthos family?
Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) warned Mac Scorpio (John York) to be careful as something doesn’t feel right regarding this mob war involving Sonny and Cyrus. Taggert has a hunch that it’s bigger than it appears. Someone is pulling the strings on Cyrus, and it looks as though they’re from over seas.
Today’s episode of General Hospital was literally explosive after Sonny and Jason’s savage move against Cyrus. General Hospital spoilers warn this is just the beginning for the Corinthos Organization and it’s enemies.
