Griffin Munro returns to GH!? Actor Matt Cohen left General Hospital in March of 2019. His character Dr. Griffin Munro was well received by fans, as was his coupling with Ava Jerome. Complications surrounding his romantic entanglements with Ava Jerome (Maura West) and her daughter Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) drove him out of town after Kiki’s death.

General Hospital recaps recall a surprise mention of Cohen’s character. This past Christmas, Ellie Trout (Emily Wilson) returned for a cameo appearance. Although Ellie and Spinelli split up, they spent Christmas together with Spinelli’s daughter, Georgie. To the audience’s surprise, Ellie received an incoming call from Dr. Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen). Ever since, General Hospital rumors speculate Griffin Munro returns to GH. Will Dr. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) need another Chief of Staff to help with the workload after Dr. Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) death?

General Hospital news and spoilers tease Matt Cohen and Emily Wilson head back to the (almost) 60 year old daytime drama. Consequently, love triangles are bound to form if Griffin drags girlfriend Ellie back to Port Charles. Ellie has a history with Spinelli, who has a history and a child with Maxie. Griffin and Ava were a fan favorited couple when things took w turn. Let’s just say chaos among Ava’s daughter, Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) and Ryan Chamberlain played a part in Griffin’s departure.

General Hospital comings and going reports have yet to confirm news regarding Matt Cohen’s potential return. However, Griffin’s surprise mention has fans hoping for his return.

General Hospital Comings and Goings: Griffin Munro Exits, Andre Maddox Stint Over

Just a few short weeks ago General Hospital spoilers and GH comings and goings reported the return of Matt Cohen to reprise his role on GH as Dr. Griffin Munro. Griffin headed back to Port Charles as a favor to Carly. When her brother Lucas Jones was involved in a car crash and put on a ventilator, Carly sprung into action and called the best doctor she knows, Dr. Munro, to help save her brother. GH fans were hopeful that Griffin would be given a larger story line but unfortunately Cohen isn’t sticking around.

Another actor who will be leaving too soon is Dr. Andre Maddox, played by Anthony Montgomery. General Hospital spoilers reveal that when Dr. Maddox is done with the procedure to help Franco, he will then make his departure.

General Hospital Spoilers: Claudette Has Something that Belongs to Valentin Cassadine

claudetteEver since Claudette (Bree Williamson) set foot in Port Charles, she has done nothing but lie to everyone in town. She has ties with Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and Griffin Monroe (Matt Cohen), both being her ex-lovers. Her first lie started with Nathan’s fiance, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) when she went on an interview to work at Crimson, pretending to have no clue who Maxie was or that she had any involvement with her ex-husband, Nathan. Her lies progressed after time, as soon enough, she dropped a bombshell on Nathan, telling him she had a daughter, Charlotte, and that he was the father. That is when she disclosed she is on the run from a dangerous man she was previously involved with, named Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). After Maxie followed her instincts and proved Claudette was lying about Nathan being Charlotte’s father, Claudette switched gears and is now claiming that Port Charles doctor/priest, Griffin is actually the father. No one’s buying that one either, except maybe Griffin.

One thing Claudette isn’t lying about is the fact that she is on the run from the lethal Valentin Cassadine. Unfortunately, Maxie has gotten caught in the mix up because she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Maxie went to Claudette’s room, and was taken by surprise as she was grabbed by a man who is working for Valentin. He assumed Maxie was Claudette and captured her to get to Charlotte.

Valentin is back in Port Charles, and wants something from Claudette. General Hospital spoilers reveal Valentin’s real target isn’t Claudette herself, but her ‘daughter’, Charlotte. General Hospital rumors have been circulating, involving another major Port Charles family. The age old Cassadine/Spencer family rivalry is an ongoing story that has lasted decades. It’s highly possible that Charlotte isn’t Claudette’s child at all, and some GH rumors even hint that Charlotte belongs to Lulu and Stavros, or Lulu and Valentin, as Lulu’s frozen embryo was in the possession of the Cassadines.

Why would Claudette be involved? It’s still uncertain why Claudette would have Lulu’s child and try to pass her off as her own, but we do know that Nathan is a Cassadine, and that Claudette would have involvement with the Cassadines because she was once married to Nathan.

Has Claudette stolen Charlotte? Could the child belong to Lulu Spencer Falconeri, via her frozen embryo?

General Hospital Spoilers: Griffin IS DUKE’s Son!

GriffinDukeGeneral Hospital spoilers have revealed and confirmed Dr. Griffin Munro’s secret. He is DUKE LAVERY’s SON! But… is he Anna’s?
Duke and Anna met at a Policeman’s Ball and soon after fell in love. The two were even expecting a child together until the Port Charles mob stepped in. A Jerome, which name we hear a lot about recently in Port Charles, wanted Duke to herself. Her name was Olivia. When she realized she had lost Duke to Anna, she planned on killing him in an elevator set up for danger. Instead, Anna got into the elevator, was injured, and lost the baby she was carrying.
It seems as though it would be too far fetched for Anna to be Griffin’s mother, given she lost the baby she and Duke had made. However, this is soap-land, and stranger things have happened.
ABC Soaps In Depth has confirmed Griffin’s identity as Duke’s son. What he wants with Anna and Port Charles remains to be seen…

GH Spoilers: Dr. Griffin Munro Anna’s Son?

GriffinAnnaDukeThere’s a new doc in town, and he may not be as random and unrelated to Port Charles as fans originally thought.

Last week, GH spoilers developed and revealed that Anna believed she had recognized Dr. Griffin Munro, as if they have met before. When confronted with Anna’s question of memory, Griffin quickly denied any knowledge of meeting Anna in the past. Perhaps he wasn’t lying, and they really haven’t met. Still, Anna feels that she has met this man before. But, why?

On today’s General Hospital, Dr, Munro showed up at Anna’s door. To her surprise, she opened the door to find him standing there and asked what he was doing at her home. Griffin disclosed to Anna that he has been following her. And again, BUT WHY?

There has been a lot of talk about Duke Lavery lately, as Anna Devane and DA Paul Hornsby are working to reel in Carlos Rivera, in order to bring down Julian Jerome for ordering the hit on Duke.

Anna has turned to mob boss, Sonny Corinthos, who was a dear friend to Duke, for help. Sonny and Anna have a mutual understanding to keep each other informed on Carlos’ whereabouts.

GH rumors have been swirling, that Dr. Griffin may be Anna and Duke’s son.

General Hospital Spoilers: Is Dr. Griffin Munro Someone from Anna’s Past?

Coming up on GH, Dr. Munro (Matt Cohen) has an encounter with Anna DeVane at General Hospital. Although the encounter is quick due to interruptions, Anna feels that she has met Dr. Munro in the past.

Anna asks Griffin if they have met before, and Griffin denies her inclination. She then asks about Kiki’s condition and then quickly gets cut off by an approaching Felicia. As Griffin walks away, he has a strange look on his face, and as Anna speaks with Felicia she has a look of concern or that of a memory.
