Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is tired of taking the back seat. Since his return from Pentonville, Drew is a different person. As expected, his new lease on life has been a shock to those who are closest to him, including Carly.

However, the adverse impact of Drew’s harder personality doesn’t end with Carly being the only recipient of his wrath. In fact, the mother of his daughter Scout was the first to notice the change within Drew.

According to General Hospital spoilers and previews, Jason’s return has a devastating impact on Drew. The old Drew may have taken a few steps back and allowed Carly to take time to figure things out in regard to Jason. But this new Drew doesn’t have the patience for all of that. Instead, he’s got a no-nonsense attitude about Jason’s return and he’s not afraid to tell Carly how he sees it.

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is no choir boy! He makes it know that he isn’t into people pleasing anymore, and he’s left that life behind bars.

General Hospital recaps highlight the hint that Drew has had enough and ready to take matters into his own hands. He’s no longer going with the flow if it doesn’t benefit himself personally. Instead, he’s ready to call the shots. He told Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) that’s he’s no choir boy and he’s a grown man with his own, including a family business and a child.

According to recent General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Sam and the Quartermaines are challenged when Drew Cain turns dark. Drew has always been kind, reasonable, and supportive. But everyone has their breaking point. He’s always looking out for everyone else and finally realizes that hasn’t gotten him anything but a clear conscience. For a while, being a good person was enough for Drew, so long as those around him were happy. Now, he’s decided it’s his time to shine.

GH rumors speculate that Drew’s new sense of self will adversely impact his relationship with Carly. Especially now that she grieves for her mother. This doesn’t mean that Drew won’t be there for Carly during her time of need, but his new outlook may clash with Carly’s way of life. Right now her focus is on Bobbie’s memorial and reflecting on her life with her mother.
