Baby Ace triggers Esme. …Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) gave birth to a baby boy. Young woman’s super sudsy soap opera birth is unconventional yet typical. Accordingly, Esme’s, her baby, and all who surround them lead the next front running storyline.

General Hospital recaps recall Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) role in Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) devious game. As history tells it, the people of Port Charles recognize Elizabeth and Nikolas’s friendship for representing loyalty and strength. Always coming to each other’s rescue, Liz and Nik knew they could always depend on one another. And due to Elizabeth’s unwavering loyalty to Nikolas, she was roped in to help him keep Esmé captive. During that time, Nurse Webber tended to Esme’s prenatal needs.

Although the situation wasn’t exactly optimal, the prenatal care that Esme received from Elizabeth was genuine. After a few surprisingly effective discussions with her Nurse, Esme displayed a real bond with her unborn baby boy. As a result, the captured accused (of the hook killings) started calling the baby, “Ace.”

According to General Hospital spoilers, insight from a recent interview reveals that soon, all is forgiven for the boarding school seductress. Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson’s interview with Avery Pohl’s alluded to her character’s rebirth. It seems Esme’s amnesia is real by the way she so naturally reacts to Heather and Ryan’s lunacy. That being said, she remembers nothing about her past; now even her pregnancy as a prisoner in Wyndemere. However, recent General Hospital rumors speculate that perhaps baby Ace triggers his mom, sparking her memory. Perhaps she’ll instinctually call him, “Ace,” simply by admiring her newborn. unfortunately for Liz, if Esmé remembers calling her child ace, she just might remember everything.

Nikolas Cassadine recast airs! …Last year, GH fans were shocked when learning that the Nikolas Cassadine we’ve come to know and love is set to exit General Hospital. GH news reports confirmed Marcus Coloma was let go from his 3 year run as Port Charles’s Dark Prince.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Nikolas is going to ask his bestie’s mom for a favor. Nik is desperate to keep Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) memories suppressed, so, he’ll ask Carolyn Webber (Denise Crosby) to help him out. Nik tries to sell his favor request by telling Carolyn this will also help Liz. He wants her to suppress Esme’s memories the way she suppressed Elizabeth’s.

General Hospital spoilers reveal ultimately, things won’t go well between Carolyn and Nikolas. Lately, Nik’s genius (*insert sarcasm*) plans have been coming back to bite him. This time, things won’t be any different.

As it turns out, they aren’t the only ones who know it isn’t Esme.

Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) have know each other practically their entire lives. They’ve been through more together than most, and continue to have each other’s backs. But this time Nikolas might expect more out of Liz than she’s willing to give.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Elizabeth realizes her dedication to helping Nik hide Esme has been all for nothing. After finding out Esme was tucked safely away at Wyndemere when the hook killer struck again, Elizabeth questions what this is all for. Elizabeth catches Nikolas and Esme when she shows up at the tower entrance. There she finds the dark prince and his captive-ating damsel in distress cozying up to a charming little Christmas tree.

Meaning, Nikolas’s feelings for Esme could make Elizabeth feel like a third wheel. Is Marcus Coloma leaving GH? The role of Nikolas Cassadine remains an ever-popular character. As the main focus of an iconic family in Port Charles, there’s always drama surrounding Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).

General Hospital news and spoilers confirm the role of Nikolas Cassadine was originated by Emmy winner Tyler Christopher in 1996. Christopher gave Nikolas Cassadine his iconic “dark Prince” personal, leaving big shoes to fill upon his exit from General Hospital. He left the daytime drama in 1999 and the role was recast with Coltin Scott until 2003. Later that year, Tyler Christopher pleasantly surprised fans when he made his return debut in April of 2003. His second run as Nikolas Cassadine outran his first, lasting from 2003-2011. Tyler was let go from the role but then later reprised the iconic character for General Hospital’s fiftieth anniversary in 2013. He remained in the role until 2016 when Nikolas faked his own death.

Is Marcus Coloma leaving GH?

Fast forward about three years and General Hospital fans were shocked to learn Nikolas wasn’t really dead. Nikolas returned in 2019 however, fans were presented with a recast for the well-known role.  

Marcus Coloma took over as Nikolas Cassadine and was immediately faced with challenging storylines. He had big shoes to fill after Tyler Christopher’s portrayal set the stage for the character’s iconic personality. Previously, General Hospital Blog reported Coloma disclosed his fear that he’d be killed off while struggling to get the right feel for the role. However, GH rumors hint Liz takes a genuine liking to the woman who victimized her son Cameron Webber (William Lipton).

General Hospital recaps recall Elizabeth and Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) developed an honest and healthy relationship despite the stigma he faced from his past. Franco had done a total 180° once he was treated for a brain tumor. The tumor was effecting his cognitive and behavioral capabilities, causing dangerous and even criminal actions.
