Lucky Spencer hasn’t been back in Port Charles for too long, but he’s already reconnected with his close family and friends. Aside from the obvious, Laura, Lulu, and Elizabeth, Lucky has been getting closer to an old family friend of his dad’s. Luke Spencer (Tony Geary) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) remained close friends throughout the decades since the 1990s. So now, Lucky gotten closer to Sonny’s daughter Kristina Corinthos (Kate Mansi) as the run Charlie’s Pub together.
Lately, Kristina’s reckless behavior has caused some concerns around Port Charles. Her beef with Ava Jerome (Maura West) has fueled her fury, and the more Ava pokes, the more Kristina reacts. General Hospital Recaps: An emotionally charged visit brought Kristina Corinthos to Ava Jerome’s door. The two argued over Sonny, Avery, and dare I say… Irene, aka Adela. Although Kristina initiated this meeting when she showed up uninvited, Ava pushed a button that should have stayed off-limits. Yes, it’s when Ava mocked Kristina for not being a mother- rubbing Adela’s death in her face, and calling her Irene. This was all too much for the mob boss’s daughter, so she was sent over the edge- but not literally this time.

Instead, Kristina threatened to stop Ava and vowed to put a stop to her coming after Sonny. She stormed out and then she put her threat into production. In a moment of mental chaos and harboring extreme emotions, Kristina made a huge mistake. She cut the brakes on Ava’s car in what seems like an act of attempted murder. That’s when a devastating twist makes Kristina’s revenge that much worse. Her bold move against Ava could now cost the lives of two innocent people.

Drew who?! Ric becomes Portia’s problem now! Is there anyone out there who thinks that Ric Lansing is anything other than a villain? Meaning, does any percentage of the GH audience find Ric Lansing a likable character? Would you ever root for him in a fight against ANYONE? Or feel sorry for him in a sad storyline? Don’t get me wrong, I love the role, and Rick Hearst who portrays Lansing. What I meant is that I highly doubt many GH fans actually LIKE Ric as a person/character living in Port Charles. Instead, most of us are enthralled by his intrigue and subtle creepiness.
Beware!Don’t Underestimate What Ric Is Capable Of
As a GH fan, I think that Ric is interesting, entertaining, and keeps my attention. On the other hand, Ric is a vile, panic-room-harboring, pregnant-woman-kidnapping psychopath. What he did to Carly (and her unborn child, Morgan), and Elizabeth is reprehensible!
Moreover, it’s now decades past the dark times when Ric kidnapped a pregnant Carly. He kept her locked in a secret panic room, and carried out his disturbing acts in the home he shared with Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst).
Fast forward twenty-two years and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) walks around Port Charles like he’s not the complete psycho path who held his sister in law captive and kept it a secret from the woman he claimed to love. Despite the trauma of finding that panic button and Carly chained to the wall inside the room, Elizabeth takes walks alone in the dark with Ric. She trusts him as they stand together in the dark, on a bridge, with no one around except Alexis. Strangely, even Carly herself overlooks what Ric did to her.

General Hospital: Portia turns to Ric for help
According to recent General Hospital spoilers and previews, Portia (Brook Kerr) continues to battle with her secret. Currently, Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison) calls the shots while he blackmails Portia. GH recaps recall that Portia took Ava’s advice and reached out to Ric for legal representation. Based on his expertise as an attorney, Ric was unable to deliver Portia a positive outlook on her situation. Unfortunately, Drew has the upper hand and she’s at his mercy. That’s when Ric told Portia straight up that she needs to keep following Drew’s orders if she wants the chance to keep Curtis and her career.
Here’s where things could take a turn… While under Drew’s control Portia must betray Curtis in order to keep her secret safe. According to new GH rumors, Ric sees the lengths Portia will go in order to prevent Curtis from finding out. Ric Lansing is as shady as they come, and he wouldn’t hesitate to use Portia’s problem to his advantage. And before you say that he can’t do that because of client/attorney privilege, ask yourself if ethics had ever stopped Ric from wreaking havoc on someone’s life in the past.
At the end of the day Portia believes that she’s been answering to Drew. But actually, Ric instructed Portia to continue as Drew’s puppet. But, that right there demonstrates how Ric has the final say . Once he realizes the power he has over Elizabeth, what will he do with it?
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his brother Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) have a troubled relationship. Ric came to Port Charles back in 2002. Unfortunately, his arrival into his mob boss of a brother’s hometown wasn’t a happy family reunion. Let’s just say that Sonny and Ric aren’t the type of bros to have each other’s back.
Ric left Port Charles in 2009, then briefly returned in 2016. For the most part Ric was a covert villain. As GH recaps recall, Ric spiraled and exposed himself to the town after holding Carly hostage. Shockingly, Carly was locked in a panic room inside Ric’s own home. He shared that home with Elizabeth.
Ric was romantically involved with Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). But his most complicated relationship was the one he had with his brother. Sonny and Ric weren’t best buds. Actually, Ric grew up with a father who hated Sonny. He came to PC and dated trouble, and committed crimes.

General Hospital news confirmed that Tic Lansing is headed back to Port Charles. Yes, Sonny’s brother is back! Sources say that casting director Mark Teschner reached out to Hearst. In a recent interview, Rick Hearst shares the details about he’s GH comeback.
“It’s been very much on my periphery and not in my consciousness for eight years,” he disclosed. “The last time I was there was 2016.”
