General Hospital Spoilers: Spencer Throws Himself Under The Bus To Save Trina

Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) has lost faith in her once friend (and potentially more than), Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).

General Hospital recaps explain that Trina felt betrayed by Spencer when it seemed he was standing by his girlfriend, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), as Trina took the blame for recording and releasing revenge porn on Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton).

General Hospital spoilers reveal Spencer is about to clear the air between him and Trina, along with the false accusations being thrown Trina’s way before it’s too late. Since Trina has Spencer as her alibi for when the video was leaked, General Hospital previews and spoilers suggest that he will use the information which could incriminate himself for escaping lockup just to prove Trina’s innocence.

Trina told Joss the same alibi, and has been holding out because she didn’t want Spencer to go down. Now it looks like she wont have to throw that piece of info out there to save herself because Spencer will beat her to the punch. General Hospital spoilers and previews indicate that he is going to throw himself under the bus in order to prove that Trina couldn’t possibly have sent the video out at that time.

Although it seems like Trina only has a wing and prayer, Spencer just might be the one to come through and give Trina a fighting chance.

General Hospital News And Spoilers: Maura West Defends Esme Prince And Her Portrayer, Avery Kristen Pohl

Sometimes it’s difficult for some fans to differentiate between the actors and the roles they play. It’s easy to hate a particular character, and in turn believe that the person who plays the part is deserving of those feelings as well.

General Hospital news and spoilers reveal that some GH fans have expressed their strong opinion on the role of Esme Prince while forgetting to specify that the feeling doesn’t extend to the actress. Avery Kristen Pohl does a phenomenal job at the role she plays, convincing the audience that she is a manipulative, scheming, lying, home wrecker.

General Hospital Fantasy Fan Events held a Zoom event over the weekend, having Maura West open up to fans. General Hospital spoilers indicate that a fan asked Maura, “How is it acting with Esme, the character, and the actress who plays her?” Maura gave a well thought out response. She said, “Avery Pohl is her name,” West clarified, making it aware that she understands the tone surrounding the opinion of the young and talented actress. Maura continued, “I understand it, and I love it, first of all, Esme, in a different time and a place, that’s a young Ava.”

“She’s burdened with this situation, with Ryan [Chamberlain, Jon Lindstrom]. She’s a little tweaked, and so I love it. It’s an interesting character. There’s nothing more boring to me than somebody who’s happy and sweet. I’m not interested — as an actor, it doesn’t interest me so much,” she quickly clarified. “In real life, I want nice,” she laughed.

“And then I also really understand Avery’s task because I have been tasked with that myself, and it’s hard. It’s hard to be the person who carries the weight of being the bad guy that’s moving the story forward. Bad guys move story forward,” she repeated, bringing the point home for all in attendance. “It’s their actions that create all of this stuff that goes on. If there’s no Avery- if there’s no Esme- if there’s no Ava Jerome, there’s no show.”

Maura went on to explain, “So I’m very supportive of Avery as a young actress, and I get it, and I’m in it, and I’m 100% in those scenes. And I love that there’s somebody that can truly get under Ava’s skin. There’s not a lot of people that can do that. And the character of Esme really gets under her skin. That’s another side to Ava that I like to see- the other side of the coin from Trina [Tabyana Ali], is that somebody really gets her. She’s kind of cool as a cucumber typically, and so for all of those reasons, I love the character, and I love working with Avery. She’s a talented young actress, and I’m very supportive of her. I enjoy it. It’s like Ava looking into some magic mirror and seeing herself 25 years ago,” she laughed. “It’s pretty cool.”

General Hospital news and spoilers indicate that it’s apparent GH star, Maura West is in full support of the young and upcoming talent that is Avery Pohl. She has gone in depth to show her support for the talented newcomer, making her opinion transparent. If anyone wants to say anything negative about the actress who plays Port Charles’s villainess, Maura West will be the first to put them in check.

Do NOT miss the upcoming drama as things get crazy between Ava and the young woman who has turned her life upside down.
