General Hospital News And Spoilers: ABC Preempts General Hospital, MLB Takes Daytime Slot

ABC’s scheduled programming of General Hospital airs weekdays, Monday through Friday at 2PM Eastern/Standard time.

General Hospital news reports confirm that GH’s Friday, October 7th episode will be preempted due to coverage of the Major League Baseball Wildcard Game.

General Hospital spoilers reveal coverage of the MLB game will start at exactly the 2PM eastern time slot as would GH. The game (potential overtime not predicted) until 5PM. On the West coast, GMA3: What You Need To Know, normally airing at 1PM eastern, will also be presented.

General Hospital news reports reveal Stephen A. Smith thought he was taking extra precautions, caring for himself by receiving the Covid vaccine.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Stephen later came down with Covid after having been vaccinated. Smith credits the vaccine for keeping him alive. His symptoms were severe enough to land himself in the hospital. Stephen spend New Years battling Covid. He described his experience by stating, “I had 103 degree fever every night. Woke up with chills and a pool of sweat. Headaches were massive. Coughing profusely. And it got to a point where right before New Year’s Eve, I was in the hospital into New Year’s Day. That’s how I brought in the New Year.” he also added, “Had I not been vaccinated, I wouldn’t be here.”

Thankfully he is now negative and has resumed his regular activities which includes the set of General Hospital, working alongside Maurice Benard and Laura Wright (Sonny and Carly)
