On December 18th, 2020, Sonny and Carly’s relationship changed forever. That’s when he and Julian fell off a bridge. Although Julian Jerome was confirmed dead, Sonny Corinthos’s body was never found. He was presumed dead and his family had to go on without him.
According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Sonny and Carly’s failing external relationships aren’t direct indicators for a CarSon reunion. Despite the fact that Sonny filed for divorce and Drew is breaking up with Carly, the mobster and the former hotel owner may not make their way back to each other just yet.
Sonny and Ava’s bond has grown stronger over the last few months. Like two peas in a pod, Ava Jerome and Sonny Corinthos have mobster blood running through their veins. Sonny is under a lot of pressure and there’s little hope for his marriage to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Furthermore, Jason Morgan’s return has driven a wedge between Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Carly’s feelings for Jason are so immense that she can’t even describe them with words. Sadly, Drew came to a realization that Carly will never love him as much as she loves Jason. Not even as much as she loves Sonny. So, where does that leave any hope for a CarSon reunion?
