Recently Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was slapped with a double betrayal. True, his son Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) kept a secret from the family. But it was that very secret that came from Sonny’s own wife’s betrayal. That means he was betrayed by two people whom he trusted.
According to recent GH spoilers, the recent situations gave Sonny food for thought. GH recaps recall that Sonny even questioned Dante. Understandably, Dante is a cop and is torn between his father and the law. All of that weighs on Sonny, and that’s when he decides that he needs to know who is loyal and who isn’t.
General Hospital previews tease that Sonny is rattled. It’s no surprise after what happened on the island. Like Dante said, that place is like a fortress. Furthermore, it’s nearly impossible for anyone to sneak their way in. Therefore, Sonny’s wheels began to turn. Because of this, Sonny was lead to believe it was an inside job. But who? Who knows the landscape like that back of their hand?
