Lately the Davis girls have been going through it. Each one of them deals with personal issues in their own way. Most importantly, Sam, Kristina, and Molly can always confide in their mom, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Molly’s current storyline is front and center despite recent cast changes.

General Hospital news and spoilers reveal that Haley Pullos is OUT. Sources say she was let go by the iconic soap opera after a start this Spring. You can catch up here with GH RECAPS. First, Holiday Mia Kriegel stepped in. She wasn’t on long enough for fans to warm up to her before GH recast Molly Lansing Davis again. Shortly after Kriegel’s debut, she was unexpectedly recast. This move confused fans as Molly’s storyline happens to be a focal point.

According to GH news and spoilers, Brooke Anne Smith is now the second recast to play Molly since Haley’s arrest. Brooke Anne Smith’s debut caused a stir among fans, resulting in online discussions and backlash. Fans comments fixated on the actress’s age. That being said, some are critical of a 39 year old who plays an early 20-something’s role. However, it’s a well-known fact that actors are cast in roles of all ages, all the time.

Meanwhile, while fans express their opinions, Brooke Anne Smith’s brother jumps to he defense. Scott Smith posted on Facebook regarding his sister’s newfound real life and reel life drama. GH news and spoilers suggest that Haley Pullos was let go and Smith is set to replace her for the foreseeable future.

General Hospital Spoilers: GH Writer Shannon Peace Confirms Last Episode As Temporary Writing Team Takes Over

GH’s temporary writing team steps in!

…By now most of the General Hospital audience is aware of the film industry’s current state of affairs. Since May, the WGA has been on strike. Contract negotiations between the WGA and the AMPTP (Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producer) are at a standstill. As a result, the GH writing team strikes along with the entire WGA.

Basically, writers aren’t writing without an updated agreement with the AMPTP. It’s as simple as that. Additionally, the arts stick together as the actors support their writing team.

What does this mean for General Hospital, the writers, the actors, and even the fans? Well, the actors film scenes like rapid fire, knocking out multiple scenes/episodes. Early call times and late night dismissals are typical of a soap opera actor. Because of this, there’s an estimated 6 weeks or so of episodes filmed ahead of time. Previous GH spoilers and news reports confirmed that the strike began on May 2nd. During this time, the episodes were still written by GH’s official team. However, they’ve now run out of episodes, and the strike has not been settled.

Due to the ongoing negotiations, General Hospital news and spoilers reveal the GH writing team’s last aired episode. Last week, GH writer, Shannon Peace took to Instagram to make an announcement. Peace revealed that Thursday’s episode was the writing teams last until things are resolved.

GH’s Temporary Writing Team Steps In

According to General Hospital spoilers, there’s about to be some changes in Port Charles. GH writer Shannon Peace made a statement regarding the on-going negotiations and shed some light on the situation. She explained, “My episode that aired Thursday, July 20 was my final until the strike is over. Starting Tuesday, the writing team of GH will be watching alongside fans to see what happens… for the sake of the fans, I hope the show is in capable writing hands. But I have to also acknowledge the pain of knowing that characters we’ve developed, relationships we built and stories we planned are being handled by others. Still, my hope is that if you love GH, you’ll continue to watch. You can morally support the writers AND keep the show the air!”

In addition, Peace penned thoughtful insight and harsh reality regarding the situation. She added, “Daytime writers face a unique conflict during strikes. We hate to see our characters and storylines handed over to ‘writers’ who cross the picket line. But we are also keenly aware that stopping production could spell the demise of the soap operas.  Hoping that the AMPTP does the right thing soon, not just for writers, but for the integrity of the storytelling.”

Episodes written by replacement writers begin on Tuesday, July 25th. Peace admits that these storylines may or may not follow the long story course that is provided by the Head Writers. Right now, the direction this is going is anyone’s guess.

Unbeknownst to Sasha and others, this downfall isn’t self inflicted. In fact, Sasha’s rock bottom results from one of the most despicable crimes against another human. Sadly, after all of her hard work and healing, Gladys had thrown it all away.

According to the latest General Hospital spoilers and previews, Sasha’s hallucination is a glimpse into the future. GH recaps recall that Sasha saw Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) as Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) when she attacked him. Although the meds she’s taken caused her hallucination, GH rumors tease that the Cyrus visual is an inadvertent premonition of what’s to come.

Sasha can’t understand why and how she’d crumble after staying so strong. And the face she saw in as the man who perpetuated her addiction. Because of Cyrus, Sasha’s addiction grew. He had Sasha right where he wanted her. Is Cyrus back for more?

Past and present, Olivia gets a bad rap for her emotional reactions to life’s hiccups. But no one worries more than an Italian mother. Ok, maybe an Italian mother from Bensonhurst! Undoubtedly, family comes first and she’ll do anything to protect her loved ones.

Currently, Olivia is losing her mind over Ned Ashton’s (Wally Kurth) run-in with 90s nostalgia. While the one who suffers most is Ned’s adoptive son, Leo (Easton Rocket Sweda). According to GH history, Ned legally adopted Leo after his biological father, Julian Jerome (William deVry) died. Unfortunately, mob violence took Leo’s father’s life when he was just a baby. However unfortunate, Leo was too young to remember losing his father. Sadly, that’s not the case this time. Poor Leo is old enough now to be emotionally impacted by this loss. Although Ned is there in the flesh, Eddie Maine isn’t exactly father material.

According to General Hospital spoilers, parenting just got a lot more difficult for Olivia. Not only does she suddenly have the responsibility of a single mom, she has to watch her son grieve for a man who is right there. Further, she does this while grieving for Ned herself! Ned’s identity crisis affects the entire family, especially their son Leo. Understandably, he’s acting out because he’s struggling with Eddie Maine replacing his father.

Meanwhile, GH spoilers and rumors tease that Olivia and Ned’s son might be the key to unlocking Ned’s emergence. When it comes to appearance, Sonny Corinthos is iconically known for his slicked back, dark hair. Since the early 1990s, GH fans recognized the Port Charles mobster by his intimidating demeanor. That’s why, when everything began to fall apart, Sonny lost his identity completely. His jet black hair was fading just like his personality as Nina turned him into Mike.
