General Hospital News And Spoilers: Steve Burton Defends Kelly Monaco And Kelly Thiebaud In The War For Jason’s Heart

Earlier this week, General Hospital Blog shared some snippets of Steve Burton’s recent interview with Soap Opera Digest. In that interview, Steve revealed his feelings on Jason and Carly’s (Laura Wright) upcoming nuptials, and how this is something new for both Steve and Laura’s characters. He also revealed his thoughts on Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) big return to Port Charles, along with other pressing GH topics.

General Hospital news reports reveal Burton has also voiced his take on the war for Jason Morgan’s heart. It’s undeniable that die hard Jason and Sam Morgan, (Kelly Monaco) aka JaSam fans, aren’t too happy about, 1) his upcoming marriage to Carly, and more importantly, 2) his feelings for Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). As history tells it’s story, fan wars over who Jason Morgan gives his heart to has always been a heated battle. Back in the day, fans were on either side of Jason and Sam (JaSam) and Jason and Liz (Rebecca Herbst), (Liason). General Hospital message boards and forums across the internet would explode with fans arguing over their favorite couple. The arguments would get ruthless, and many times, the Soapnet message boards would be shut down for the day by moderators.

General Hospital spoilers reveal there’s a new battle to be fought. This time between Jason and Sam fans vs. Jason and Britt (Brason) fans.

In his recent interview, Burton disclosed his feelings on the bashing his co-stars, Kelly Monaco and Kelly Thiebaud are currently enduring from GH “fans” who are on either side of the war for Jason’s heart. He said, “I get it. I’ve watched shows before where I’ve been upset, okay?” Burton said in an interview with Soap Opera Digest. “So I understand that people get upset over things, for sure. The thing that I don’t condone or like is that people were attacking both Kellys.” 

He added, “I’m not on social that much anymore, but I saw some bad things being said about Kelly Monaco, and some bad things about Kelly Thiebaud, and that’s when I check out. That’s when I’m like, ‘Okay, I’m not even going to engage or read this stuff.’ It is two real human beings that can be affected by those comments, you know?”

Steve is also empathetic to the situation. He disclosed that he too get emotionally invested in the characters and relationships of the shows he watches. He said, “My wife and I watched something on Netflix and something happened and I went, “This is the stupidest show I’ve ever seen! I’m not watching this! I can’t believe they would do something this dumb!” He revealed, “I was so invested that by that point, I go, “I get why people get upset!”… But then we finished it! You kind of settle down and go, ‘It’s a TV show. Get back to the freakin’ TV and watch the rest of it.”

When it’s all said and done, Steve revealed that the actors do not have “We are just doing our job, doing the best we can to tell the story that’s written, the writers, Chris and Dan, aren’t calling us going, “Hey, what do you think about this?”

General Hospital News And Spoilers: Kirsten Storms Is Back On Set

On the July 19th episode of General Hospital, Kirsten Storms aired her last episode as her character, Maxie Jones skipped town, destination Texas. Thankfully, her departure is only temporary.

General Hospital news reports confirmed Storms took a leave of absence due to her recent brain surgery. On July 30th, Kirsten revealed that she is back on the set of GH, filming new episodes as Maxie Jones.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Kirsten shared the news via her Instagram story, with a photo which was also shared to the official General Hospital IG account story. The post was a selfie of Storms, with “Maxie’s back!” written at the top.

We are so excited to hear of Kirsten’s return, and the time Maxie will be off screen is very limited. General Hospital news and spoilers indicate GH’s four week-ish filming schedule should put Maxie Jones back onscreen sometime around the end of August.

General Hospital Spoilers: Elizabeth Has Nikolas All Figured Out

As if Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) didn’t have enough on her shoulders with a mystery of her own, she’s now out solving other mysteries. But this one involves her family.

As Elizabeth and Finn (Michael Easton) are stumped at the disappearance of Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) body, the answer to who had her sister shot is crystal clear.

Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) is desperate to keep his dark secret from coming to light and has been lying, scheming, and even threatening his family in order to protect himself. He has already given Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) a cryptic warning, telling her not to go out looking for Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig).

General Hospital spoilers reveal Nikolas’ jig is up, and he and Hayden are no longer the only ones who know the truth.

General Hospital previews show Elizabeth confronting Nikolas with her big revelation. But it’s possible she has known all along. She boldly blurts out that he is the one who had her sister, Hayden shot. All this time Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) has taken the heat and served time for Nikolas Cassadine’s crime, while Nikolas roams free, living his best life.

Now that Elizabeth has revealed she knows the truth, Will Nikolas threaten his dear friend as he did Sam who is his own family?

General Hospital rumors claim that Liz’s knowledge will give Liz all the more reason to reach out to her sister, which could lead to a major discovery, connecting Hayden to Liz and Finn’s current mystery situation.

General Hospital News: A New Development Surrounding Emme Rylan’s GH Status, Things Aren’t Looking Good For Emme Fans

Emme Rylan’s status with General Hospital has been up in the air since her character Lulu Spencer Falconeri was tragically put in a coma.

GH fans have been rallying to have Lulu awaken and Emme to reprise the role. However, a new development makes it look as though fans may not get what they want any time soon.

General Hospital news reports share information straight from Emme Rylan. She has taken to Instagram to inform fans that she has arrived in Nashville, Tennessee to evaluate the surroundings. Don Money has received a job offer in Nashville, and Emme is trying to decide if the city is a good fit for her family.

Since Emme and her family are heavily considering the big move away from LA, General Hospital rumors have developed surrounding her status with GH. It seems like she doesn’t have any plans of returning to the daytime drama, and this news comes after General Hospital spoilers reveal she has disclosed TPTB at GH have not been in contact regarding her potential return.

Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) has teamed up with the newly free ex-convict, Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore), to help find Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig). Since it’s a known fact that Shawn wasn’t the one to shoot Hayden, now that he is a free man, Sam and Shawn are setting out to get some answers in order to find the real person behind Hayden’s shooting.

Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) has been doing everything he can to keep his involvement a secret, even paying Pentonville to keep Shawn behind bars. Now that his plan has failed and Shawn is free, Nikolas is in panic mode.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Nikolas is aware of Sam’s interest in finding Hayden. Unfortunately for Nikolas, he knows that Hayden knows the truth, and isn’t secure in knowing whether or not she would reveal he is the one behind her shooting.

General Hospital News: Kirsten Storms Announces She’s Moving, Takes Leave Of Absence From GH

Last month, General Hospital Blog reported shocking news of GH star, Kirsten Storm’s medical emergency. General Hospital news reports confirmed Storms underwent brain surgery, which was kept undisclosed until after the surgery took place. Thankfully, she had co-star and real life BFF, Emme Rylan (Lulu Spencer Falconeri) by her side.

General Hospital news and spoilers reveal Kirsten has announced she will be making a move in about a month. The actress discloses that she doesn’t know where she will be moving as of yet, but she organizing her place, getting ready to make her move.

General Hospital comings and goings news confirms Storms will be taking a leave of absence from General Hospital, as filming dates are ahead of actual on-screen air dates. The upcoming episodes which will not include Storms, take place during the time she went through and recovered from brain surgery.
