Jason Thompson joined the cast of General Hospital in 2005. GH cast and crew along with adoring fans have been graced with his presence on GH for the past decade. We have gotten to know and love his character, Dr. Patrick Drake. Son of the iconic Noah Drake (Rick Springfield), Thompson knew his character Patrick has some expectations to live up to. Almost right away. Thompson was paired along side one of General Hospital’s most loved and respected actresses, Kimberly McCullough. It would seem that on the contrary, since Robin left Patrick, there has been quite a bit of excitement in Port Charles for Patrick. He is stellar as Emma’s dad, an amazing (ex) son in law to Anna, a phenomenal doctor, a great friend to Elizabeth, and a hot romance with Sam.
Now that we are on the verge of Jason remembering who he actually is and who he belongs with, this obviously poses a problem for Sam and Patrick’s relationship. Does this mean that once Sam and Jason reunite, there will be nothing left for Jason Thompson’s character on the show?
Many fans would be devastated to see Jason Thompson exit General Hospital. Patrick Drake has lived in Port Charles and inside our hearts for an entire decade. The thought of losing his dad has his mind spinning out of control… so much that he will go to extreme measures to get justice.
According to GH previews, Morgan is ready to end Julian’s life. He’s out for revenge and won’t let anyone deter him from getting justice for Sonny. General Hospital spoilers reveal that Tequan Richmond, who plays TJ Ashford has landed a new role on Showtime. Richmond joined the cast of General Hospital back in 2012, and currently plays alongside some of Port Charles’ biggest names. TJ is loyal to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), boyfriend of Molly Lansing Davis (Hayley Pullos), and son of Police Commissioner, Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine).

Maurice Benard Celebrates 22 Years as Sonny Corinthos! General Hospital news and spoilers report an impressive milestone. His hard work and dedication to the role is appreciated by GH fans across the board.
Reportedly, today marks the day that Maurice Benard debuted as Port Charles mobster, Sonny Corinthos. On August 13th, 1993, Sonny arrived in Port Charles. He quickly made a name for himself around town, and he soon developed a reputation.
General Hospital Blog would like to congratulate Maurice on his 22 year run as one of the most well known television names in Daytime TV. According to recent GH news, Maurice tells fans how he only wanted to sign a 6 month contract with the Soap Opera. However, things didn’t happen quite like that. Thankfully, 6 months as Sonny Corinthos turned into over two decades. Twenty-two years later and we still race to our television sets every day of the week. And after cliffhanger Friday, Monday can’t come soon enough.
To many fans General Hospital just wouldn’t be the same without the mob boss. Undoubtedly, Port Charles changed forever when Maurice joined GH’s cast as Sonny Corinthos. We want to thank Maurice for his hard work and talents, and everything he does to keep fans coming back for more.

The role of Agent Sloane was originally portrayed by actor, Robb Derringer. For reasons that remain unknown, Derringer exited the role of Agent Sloane, and was replaced by Grayson McCouch.
An out-pour of support was expressed on many social media sites for Robb Derringer, leaving fans puzzled as to why the role was recast. Many fans expressed that they wanted Derringer back. It looks as though those requests have been answered in a positive way.
The last we saw of Sloane (Grayson McCouch was when Anna was leaving for the Summer to spread Duke’s ashes. When Finola Hughes returns this Fall, Anna will be back in Port Charles, along with Agent Sloan- the original.
General Hospital has switched up this character by recasting Grayson McCouch with Robb Derringer who originated the role.
The last time we saw Anna Devane, she was mourning the loss of her true love, Duke Lavery. She said her goodbyes and went of to spread Duke’s ashes. Finola Hughes went on Summer hiatus, but will be retutning to the canvas very soon.
In a twitter announcement, the actress confirmed on August 6th, that she will be back at GH taping her scenes this week. On August 10th, she tweeted she was back on set.

Rebecca Budig joined the cast of General Hospital back in February of this year. She is well known for her role on the former ABC soap All My Children, as Greenlee Smythe. She joined GH earlier this year as a con-artist named Hayden Barnes. Hayden’s main story was revolved around the big Jason Morgan identity crisis. Last month it was announced that Budig was returning to General Hospital, she signed a contract with the show, and her character Hayden was waking from her coma.
