…Over the years, Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and his brother Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) have had each other’s backs. Through every adventure, every romance, every loss and triumph, the Scorpio brothers remain close. One solid way they’ve stayed close all this time is through their mutual friend group. Now that Robert has his sights on a new love interest, will Diane fit in with his bother Mac and their friends?
General Hospital recaps take us back to Diane Miller’s (Carolyn Hennesy) strong stance on dating. She made it abundantly clear that she won’t compete with any woman for a man’s attention; not even Robert’s. That being said, she won’t lower herself to such a competition with anyone, let alone Holly Sutton (Emma Samms).
According to recent General Hospital previews, Robert’s brother wants answers. Coming up on General Hospital, Mac asks Diane about Robert. Right now, Diane hasn’t a clue whether or she and Robert have a fighting chance at romance. As previously noted, Diane is certain that no man is worth getting petty with another woman over his affections. On the other hand, her fierce desire for victory might take over. It’s quite possible that the more Holly’s confidence shines through, the more inclined Diane becomes to win Robert over.
Kin Shriner leaves GH as Scotty Baldwin! Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) found love again with Scott Baldwin. They both bonded over losing Franco (Roger Howarth), as Liesl was close friends with Scotty’s son. Although she blamed him in part for adding to her anguish, Scott was by Liesl’s side as she grieved for her daughter, Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
GH news reports reveal that Shriner began his run as Scotty Baldwin back in 1977. The actor who originated the role made the character his own with his quick-witted comments and sarcastic banter. He went on to become part of one of the most memorable and tragic romance stories in daytime. He and Shell Danielson knocked Dominique Stanton’s love and loss story out of the park. Sadly, General Hospital Blog confirms that actor Kin Shriner has been let go from ABC’s General Hospital.
Kin Shriner Leaves GH- Scotty Baldwin Written Off!
In a recent tweet, Shriner announced that his character was written off of the General Hospital script. Shockingly, the daytime TV vet shared the news late Tuesday night via Twitter. GH spoilers and news reports reveal that the fans aren’t the only ones in shock over the news. As it turns out, Kin Shriner is as also taken by surprise, and not the good kind! Why did the writers write Scotty Baldwin off the canvas? Well, we aren’t quite sure. However, rest assured we will keep fans posted on any new developments.
Is Victor Cassadine alive?! …Ding dong the wicked- well, the witch died long ago, but likes to pop up in nightmares. In fact, Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) recently appeared in Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) hallucinations. Thus proves soap opera deaths don’t play by the rules. So, what makes the fans so sure of Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnesssy) death?
When we reflect back on General Hospital recaps, it surely seemed like Victor was as dead as can be. Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) and the only remaining stable Cassadine family members sighed with relief over his demise. However, a recent comment has GH fans questioning whether or not Victor will be back to reek havoc on Port Charles. Although his lifeless body was clearly shown, new developments raise speculation.
Is Victor Cassadine Alive?!
According to General Hospital news reports, Shaughnessy may have just let the cat out of the bag in a statement to Soap Opera Digest. He told the outlet that he’s “not convinced Victor is completely gone.” Now, GH fans are left wondering. How can Victor return from the dead after we all saw him zipped up in a body bag? Well, this brings us right back to Helena and every other character who has “died,” just to emerge from some rock they had to hide under. Sometimes the characters resurface shortly after their presumed death. And other times it takes years.
Can Laura and her family and friends rest easy? Something (General Hospital rumors) tells us that they should sleep with one eye open.
Joss and Dex leave together?! …Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) hired Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) as an informant. His mission was to get solid evidence against Michael’s own father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). With that, Michael planned to turn over the evidence, and secure Sonny’s future behind bars.
Somewhere along the way Dex fell for Michael’s sister, Sonny’s ex stepdaughter, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). At first, Joss and Dex’s relationship was a secret because of Michael and Sonny. Neither wanted Dex anywhere near Joss, but she and Dex are adults who couldn’t resist the chemistry between them.
Currently, their relationship is out in the open, and Sonny’s blessing was an added bonus. When he found out, he told Josslyn that her mother is the only one who has a true say in what she does. As for Dex, Sonny was disappointed he kept the secret. However, Dex has saved Sonny’s life so it’s almost as if Sonny gave him a free pass.
According to General Hospital spoilers, Dex makes a choices about his future. Now that Michael called off the mission Dex risked his life for, Dex faces two unsatisfying options. He must choose to stay working for Sonny legitimately, in hopes that he’ll never find out his initial intentions. Or, flee Port Charles, never to be seen by Sonny or anyone again- including Joss.
GH previews indicate Dex tells Joss he has to leave. Moreover, GH rumors hint that she’ll vow to stand by her man and leave along with him. Regarding any potential GH exits, no news has come to the surface about McCoy and Hofer’s General Hospital status. Therefore, General Hospital comings and goings reports show no signs of these two exiting the 60 year old daytime drama. Rest assured, we will keep y’all posted on any developments!
Ryan left Esme everything! Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) arrived in Port Charles on a mission. While posing as Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) doting girlfriend, the boarding school brat had a secret agenda. Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindtrom) was the mastermind behind the disturbing plot to come between Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Ava Jerome (Maura West). Moreover, Ryan’s obsession with Ava lead to a sequence of unfortunate events.
According to General Hospital recaps, Esme’s amnesia took her from a dangerous con-artist to a loving and responsible new mother. Despite a personal vendetta against his ex, even Spencer sees Esme’s maternal instincts kick in. Spencer’s grandmother Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis) has been a constant support for Esme and baby Ace. After all, Ace is Laura’s grandson.
Ryan Left Esme Everything!?!?
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Esme is presented with independence. According to GH rumors, Esme’s father Ryan left everything to his daughter. As a result, Esme acquires financial freedom. Currently, Esme’s vulnerable to her environment because she truly has nothing and no one else. But if GH rumors regarding her inheritance are true, Esme considers her options.
Does Ryan leave Esme the opportunity to break free from the Cassadine’s financial hold?
Drew leads Sonny to Nina! …Almost all of us can say that we know what it feels like to be wrongfully accused. On the other hand, how many of us can admit that we’ve wrongfully accused someone while overlooking the real culprit? Surely, it’s not always easy to admit when we’ve made a big mistake, but even still, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) rises to the occasion.
There’s so much drama going on in Port Charles right now. As GH recaps recall, Drew returned to port Charles fresh from a rescue mission. And it wasn’t just any rescue, but an epic victory in many ways. By helping stop Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), the rescue crew saved the world. Most importantly, the rescue also brought Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) home so that she can help save Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) life. As if Willow’s situation wasn’t enough to keep her family’s focus, an unfortunate situation weighs on her loved ones. Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain are under investigation for insider trading.
Drew Leads Sonny to Nina
According to General Hospital spoilers, Drew has a revelation. Despite the fact that he laid into Ned Ashton (Wally Kurth) and accused him of turning him and Carly in, Drew stops to think about things. General Hospital previews and spoilers indicate that things don’t quite add up when trying to justify putting the blame on Ned. First of all, the timing was way off. Ned is a cutthroat business man, but he also values family. It’s unlikely that he’d turn in the mother of the groom. Even Ned’s ELQ dedication wouldn’t drive him to spoiler Michael’s (Chad Duell) wedding to his dying fiancé. Secondly, Drew wasn’t even in town when the sh!t hit the fan. The latest GH spoilers and rumors tease that Drew stops and thinks about the situation at hand and how Ned’s involvement makes no sense. As Nina Reeves (Xynthia Watros) continues to weasel her way into Willow’s life, she still holds onto her secret. But according to GH rumors, Drew’s suspicions lead Sonny to Nina!
Will Sonny be the one to figure out Nina turned Carly and Drew into the SEC?!
Taggert warns Portia to stay out of it when it comes to Trina and Spencer! …Although Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) split up long ago, they are both very involved parents. They’ve each remained heavily involved in their daughter Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) life. Simply put, they want the best for their daughter, and continue to worry about the choices she makes.
Over in Greenland, Trina and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) have a happy reunion. Meanwhile, back home in Port Charles, Trina’s mother awaits her own reunion with Trina. Recent General Hospital recaps recall the sensitive nature of Portia and Trina’s current relationship. After having betrayed her family, Portia’s lies brought forth consequences. Prior to the tragic events on the Haunted Star, relationship with Trina showed signs of strain.
According to General Hospital news reports, Réal Andrews returns to GH as Trina’s father, Marcus Taggert. Despite Portia’s paternity drama, Taggert raised Trina and will always be her father. Although it’s possible that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is Trina’s biological father, that won’t stop Taggert from fulfilling his fatherly duties. Thankfully, both Taggert and Curtis love Trina and will do anything to keep her safe.
General Hospital spoilers and previews tease that Portia and Trina’s reunion is filled with gratitude for her safe return. However, GH rumors say that their relationship is still on thin ice. Despite almost losing each other, tension between the mother daughter duo could creep back into play if Portia says her piece about Spencer. General Hospital spoilers indicate that when it comes to Trina and Spencer, Taggert warns Portia to stay out of it. In addition, he reminds Portia that putting the blame on Spencer isn’t a great idea. If she wants to keep Trina close, telling her adult daughter who she can and cannot see isn’t going to fly with this obviously capable and independent young woman. Will Portia take Taggert’s advice? Or will she push her limits with Trina during this rocky period in their relationship?
It’s true that desperate times call for desperate measures. That’s why Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis) knew that she needed to act fast when word about Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). came out. Going off of personal experience, Laura took the initiative and lead her group as they set out for Greenland. WSB took control of a serious mission. Thanks to Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner) involving the WSB, the situation on the Haunted Star blew up (pun intended). Now, Spencer Cassadine is missing and a body was found.
According to the latest General Hospital spoilers and previews, the WSB struck the Haunted Star with a drone… with civilians still aboard! Thankfully, the rest of the rescue crew is safe. Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), baby Ace, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), and Laura, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) are safely on land. However, Spencer is not.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Laura and Trina are informed that a body was recovered in the wreckage. The Haunted Star was blown to bits by the WSB, leaving Spencer unaccounted for and a John/Jane Doe (for now) dead. At first, Trina and Laura fear the worst after having been told a body was found. As it turns out, the body isn’t Spencer’s but he remains missing.
At this time, no new General Hospital news reports have confirmed nor denied Chavez’s potential GH exit. If we had to guess, Trina and Spencer are in it for the long haul.
Tracy offers Willow her marrow! Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) is all about family. Mainly, the family business. Just like any close knit family, there are good times and bad, and times when we stick together and stand by each other. Then there are the other times. Family disputes come in all forms. But for the Quartermaine family, they rip each other to shreds over the family business, ELQ. Basically, they fight over money.
General Hospital recaps recall Willow’s dire health situation. After all the ups and downs, Willow, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), and the rest of the Quartermaine and Corinthos families were finally looking up and up. They found a bone marrow match and Willow could look to a future. As it turned out, the shocking connection between Willow and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) lead to what they thought was a miracle. Willow was just about to awaken from her nightmare, but thanks to Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), she thought she was stuck in her horrible dream forever.
Now, General Hospital spoilers and previews tease that Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) gave Willow another glimmer of hope. But sadly, despite new hope, Liesl may not be able to come through. According to recent GH rumors, there’s yet another delay and Willow’s time is fleeting.
In these desperate moments, Tracy makes her move. New GH spoilers suggest Tracy offers Willow her marrow when Liesl Obrecht’s homecoming is delayed again. While she values family, Tracy is also a businesswoman. Of course, she won’t give something for nothing, you know? Shockingly, Michael quickly learned that savings Willow’s life comes with a price. Even from family. Tracy wants Michael’s ELQ shares in exchange for donating her marrow to save Willow. What will Michael do?
Michael’s guilt over Willow changes the course of things. …When you play with fire, you get burned. And that’s exactly what’s going to happen to Michael. While Willow is battling leukemia, her fiancé’s focus is on his father. His covert plan to destroy Sonny Corinthos (Chad Duell) was in the works for the better part of a year at least. Now, everything Michael and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) have worked for is about to payoff.
General Hospital recaps recalls how Sonny betrayed Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). When Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) fraudulently lead them to believe he was dead, lives were turned upside down. The Corinthos family as they knew it was unrecognizable. Ever since, Sonny’s betrayal changed the way Michael sees his father.
Mixed emotions filled those closest to Carly and her family when Sonny stepped in with the save. But despite Sonny’s efforts, Michael only sees his father as a traitor and a criminal. On the contrary, Willow sees her father-in-law in a different light. Now, Michael’s confession sends shatters his. Own world. As a result, a dying Willow was sent into a panic. Devastated, Willow’s already frail state just took a major blow.
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Michael’s guilt over Willow changes the course of things. Now, Willow’s biggest supporter may be the reason she loses her battle with leukemia.
