Griffin Munro returns to GH!? Actor Matt Cohen left General Hospital in March of 2019. His character Dr. Griffin Munro was well received by fans, as was his coupling with Ava Jerome. Complications surrounding his romantic entanglements with Ava Jerome (Maura West) and her daughter Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) drove him out of town after Kiki’s death.
General Hospital recaps recall a surprise mention of Cohen’s character. This past Christmas, Ellie Trout (Emily Wilson) returned for a cameo appearance. Although Ellie and Spinelli split up, they spent Christmas together with Spinelli’s daughter, Georgie. To the audience’s surprise, Ellie received an incoming call from Dr. Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen). Ever since, General Hospital rumors speculate Griffin Munro returns to GH. Will Dr. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) need another Chief of Staff to help with the workload after Dr. Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) death?
General Hospital news and spoilers tease Matt Cohen and Emily Wilson head back to the (almost) 60 year old daytime drama. Consequently, love triangles are bound to form if Griffin drags girlfriend Ellie back to Port Charles. Ellie has a history with Spinelli, who has a history and a child with Maxie. Griffin and Ava were a fan favorited couple when things took w turn. Let’s just say chaos among Ava’s daughter, Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin) and Ryan Chamberlain played a part in Griffin’s departure.
General Hospital comings and going reports have yet to confirm news regarding Matt Cohen’s potential return. However, Griffin’s surprise mention has fans hoping for his return.
GH fan threatens Cynthia Watros! The rivalry between Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is as real as a fictional rivalry between two CHARACTERS can get. However, one fan wants to take it to the streets with the actress who plays Nina.
The hatred between Carly and Nina is evident but the love between Laura and Cynthia is just as apparent. Amidst the on-screen drama between Sonny Corinthos’s leading ladies, General Hospital news reports confirm Laura and Cynthia’s real life relationship is nothing like that of their characters.
Nina and Carly are much different than Cynthia and Laura
Now more than ever, the storyline between Carly and Nina has fans hyped up. GH recaps recall Carly finally came clean about Nina and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) after learning that Willow’s life is at stake. The lies and revelations have fans pointing fingers; mainly at Nina. Recently, General Hospital stars step in to have her back when a GH fan threatens Cynthia Watros.
General Hospital spoilers reveal one fan’s tweet caused Laura Wright, Lydia Look, and Liz Vassey (ex- Emily Ann Sago, AMC), stepped in to defend Watros. The fan tweeted, “Listen… I’m afraid if I saw Cynthia Watros on the street, I would punch her in the face for messing with Carly!” The fact yhat the actresses name was used as opposed to using, “Nina,” is unsettling. Watros wrote, “Really,” while Laura Wright replied, “Not if I was there,” in her friend’s defense. Another GH co-star weighed in. Newcomer Lydia Look (Selina Wu) tweeted, “You are a magnificent actress, and it’s a shame one can’t separate the actress from her role,” she wrote. “You have my mad love, respect and support. In your corner always. Shine on, sister.”
Finally, Liz Vassey shared her personal experience with a fan who took things too far. She tweeted, “Man oh man. I got [a tweet like that] once from someone who hated me so much on CSI that he hoped horrible things happened to ‘everyone I loved,’” the AMC star recalled. “Who knew my portrayal of a fictitious DNA tech could hold so much power over someone?!
Please remember that, no matter how frustrated we are as a character or a storyline, these are actors doing their jobs. Taking things to the streets and lashing out at the actress who portrayed these roles is unacceptable. Sit back and enjoy the show.
Trina helps Spencer fight for custody of Esme’s baby!? Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) knows what he’s up against. After speaking with Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy), Spencer knows what it’s going to take to put up a fair fight in the courtroom.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Spencer prepares to take on his ex girlfriend and his own father in the courtroom. The custody battle for Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) baby requires strategic planning along with cleverly convincing actions.
General Hospital previews and spoilers reveal Spencer realizes he can’t go up against his father alone. He needs to prove he’s ready to take on the responsibility of a child and give the baby a stable home. General Hospital rumors claim Trina helps Spencer fight for custody of Esme’s baby. Just as Portia and Curtis strategize how to keep Spencer and Trina apart, Trina and Spencer become closer than ever.
Is karma coming back around? Will Trina and Spencer get their revenge by taking baby Ace? Esme betrayed Trina for a crime, she committed and betrayed Spencer father. General Hospital rumors hit that Trina and Spencer shock Port Charles with their next moves. Don’t miss it!
Willow rejects Nina! It doesn’t matter to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) that she finally knows her birth mother. That fact doesn’t erase all the ways Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has displayed herself as someone who will climb over whoever it takes to get where they want to be.
General Hospital spoiler reveal time is running out and Willow must decide if she is going to accept Nina’s help. Family or not these two women have not been able to see eye to eye before knowing that she was Willow’s mother Nina didn’t hesitate to choose Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) memory over Willow. Conveniently, now that Nina knows Willow is her daughter too, she suddenly all about making amends. Nina claims she wants nothing in return for donating her bone marrow tomorrow. However, Willow is reluctant to trust her.
General Hospital rumors suggest that Willow’s beliefs are strong when it comes to what’s best for her son. If being saved by Nina means giving Nina access to Wiley, her answer is no.
GH previews indicate Willow rejects Nina and refuses the transplant. Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) pays Willow a visit at the hospital when their discussion dives deep into Willows thoughts on Nina’s bone marrow donation. Sasha fears Willow is giving up and Michael feels Willow is standing in the way of her on survival. Can her friends and family talk her into excepting what Nina has to offer?
Can Nina save Willow? Nina Reeves’s (Cynthia Watros) greatest heartache in life is having missed the chance to have a relationship with her daughter. Ultimately, she blames Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) for her missed opportunity.
Nina blames Carly for withholding her connection to Nelle, despite knowing that Nelle was a psycho who kidnapped Wiley. She spent her entire adult life living for the hope of finding the daughter who was taken from her at birth. Nina went through Hell with every lead that turned out to be a dead end. She was even deceived by people she loves when Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) had a hand in Nina’s hellish journey.
General Hospital recaps recall Nelle’s fixation on destroying Carly and the ones she loves. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was Nelle’s route to hitting Carly where it hurts. However, her reign of terror extended far beyond Carly’s son. Undoubtedly, the entire Corinthos family suffered at the hands of Nelle at some point or another. In the end, Nelle kidnapped Wiley and became a threat to his life. Still, Nina blames Carly for keeping her from Nelle, as well as causing her death.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Nina’s daughter Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) fights for her life while pregnant and battling stage 4 leukemia. Nina just found out Willow is one of two of her twin daughters.
Once again, Carly has a hand in keeping Nina from a long lost child. Will Nina face the same fate with Willow as she did with Nelle? Nelle died tragically before Nina got the chance to know her daughter. Similarly, Nina finds herself in a deja vu situation when shes faced with losing another daughter.
Can Nina Save Willow?
General Hospital previews indicate that Nina marches straight over to Willow with the news. After Carly drops the bombshell about Willow’s and Nina’s connection, the race to save her life is in full effect.

Since the announcement, General Hospital fans expressed their condolences and hope that ABC’s General Hospital would address the real life passing of one of their own. Daytime TV is no stranger to saying goodbye to characters, however, saying goodbye to the actor in the character’s role is another matter.
The Show Must Go On- GH Honors Sonya Eddy In Special Episode
The halls of the hospital will never be the same now that the cast and crew walk them without one of their own. The friendships and bonds created among Sonya and the GH family were featured in many dedication posts.
Following the shocking story, ABC’s General Hospital reflects on the life and death of an extremely talented, kind, and loving bright light. Look out for this heartfelt memorial in late March, prior to GH’s 60 year celebration.
Tracy Quartermaine returns. Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is plotting for a massive Cassadine takeover. His involvement in practically every major upset in Port Charles has left many curious. What is Victor Cassadine planning in the name of family? And what the Hell really happened to Luke Spencer?
General Hospital news and spoilers indicate Jane Elliot reprises her role on GH. After retirement in 2017, the ironic daytime star has popped back in and out a few times, adding a familiar element to storylines. The last time Elliot returned as Tracy Quartermaine she brought with her some terrible news. Tracy told Laura Spencer (Genie Francis), Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), The Quartermaine’s, and all of those who knew and loved Luke Spencer (Tony Geary), of his passing.
Tracy’s Return Brings Insight To What Happened to Luke
Laura, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), and Anna DeVane (Finola Hughes) were left dumbfounded. They can’t fathom how someone like Luke could perish in such a meaningless and anticlimactic. Similarly, Genie Francis feels the exact same about Luke’s death as does her character Laura.
In previous General Hospital news, GH Blog shared thoughts from Geary’s co-stars. Genie, Tristan, Finola, and Jackie Zeman expressed their thoughts on the situation surrounding Luke Spencer. Genie revealed, “I feel like they’re setting the stage, really, for a wonderful comeback,” she confessed, “and I’m going to keep my fingers crossed for that.” Genie also told an ABC reporter, “George, no one stays dead on a soap. I don’t know how many times I’ve been dead. Really!” The others weighed in as well, which created general hospital, rumors involving an investigation to get to the bottom of what really happened to Luke. Please CLICK HERE for the full story.
General Hospital news and spoilers reveal ABC’s General Hospital is coming up on 60 years! If that isn’t grounds for celebration, I don’t know what is! 60 years brings thrilling storylines with twists and turns and major revelations. The celebration brings forth familiar faces as General Hospital comings and goings reports confirm Jane Elliott returns to General Hospital as Tracy Quartermaine. According to GH rumors, Tracy Quartermaine’s return will have a lot to do with Luke; and Victor’s involvement in what really happened to the Cassadine nemesis.
Cody gets to know Sasha; is Sasha ready to move on? Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) found the love of her life when she fell in love with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor). Brando was by her side through all her struggles and triumphs, giving her the love and support she needed. In turn, Sasha loved and supported Brando equally, in her own way.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Sasha stumbles upon another listening ear after her candid confessions to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). Sasha and Chase’s friendship stems from a long history trust and mutual respect. After losing Brando, familiar faces offered their shoulder as a place to rest Sasha’s head and ears to express her grief. She trusts her inner circle to be there for her and have her best interest at heart. Sadly, there is someone among her circle who proves themselves untrustworthy.
General Hospital previews reveal Cody gets to know Sasha a little more when he learns that her mother-in-law is Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs). Through his dealings with Selina Wu (Lydia Look), Cody recognizes Gladys’s name and her association with Selina and her poker ring.
Gladys is in deep with Selina. Ever since the loss of her son Brando, Gladys is using gambling as a vice to get her through the grief. Meanwhile, Sasha remains unaware of her mother-in-law’s behavior. GH rumors suggest that Cody’s develops concern for Sasha based on what he knows about the woman in charge of her estate. Cody knows more about Gladys in that world than Sasha does. Will he open up to Sasha and give her a warning?
Can Josslyn trust Dex? There’s no question that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) are meant to become the next hot, super couple. Their chemistry is undeniable which sets the stage for the future success of the couple’s popularity.
It’s not every day the fans feel a certain way about a new couple in Port Charles. Some General Hospital fans compare Josslyn and Dex to iconic couples of the past. Obvious similarities have been found in couples such as Jason and Sam (Kelly Monaco), and even Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and her best friend Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Carly and Jason started out, hot and heavy, and ultimately became the best of friends. It’s uncertain what’s in store for Joss and Dex. However, what is certain is that GH Fan’s hope to see a passionate romance as opposed to friendship.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Josslyn’s vulnerability is heightened due to the fact that she feels completely comfortable around Dex. After all, he has saved her life over and over, making her feel safe in his presence. But just because she feels physically, safe, doesn’t mean her heart is safe.
General Hospital rumors claim Dex’s ulterior motives with Michael (Chad Duell) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be the dark cloud hanging over his relationship with Joss. Recent GH previews reveal Dex makes a call as Josslyn hurries out to give Sonny a piece of her mind.
Previous General Hospital rumors claim that he’s not only in PC working undercover for Michael, Dex is in Port Charles for reasons that have yet to be revealed. Technically, Joss is deceived by her own brother and the man she’s fallen for. Although she shares her brother’s sentiments about Sonny, Josslyn won’t be happy to have been lied to.
Are Dex’s feelings for Josslyn real? Or is it all part of a grander plan?
Will Brook Lynn sing again?! Over two years ago, Brook Lynn Quartermaine suffered from a brutal attack that left her speechless. The songstress received devastating news from doctors after her throat was slashed by the town crazy.
General Hospital recaps recall Carly (Laura Wright) and Michael Corinthos’s (Chad Duell) worst nightmare. The late Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) went on a tear, destroying anything and anyone in her way. Amidst the behind the scenes chaos of the Nurses Ball, Brook Lynn threatened to call the cops on Nelle. Consequently, that’s when Nelle used fabric shears to attack Brook Lynn. Her throat was slashed, causing permanent damage to the vocal cords. Although BLQ’s speaking voice returned with time, the damage was too great to go forward with her singing career.
Will Brook Lynn Sing Again?
General Hospital news reports confirm Wally Kurth and Amanda Setton discussed their musical attributes during a recent Coastal Entertainment zoom event. Amanda opened up about working with her tv dad, Wally Kurth, a Ios a musical duo. During the event, a fan asked Setton if she and Brook Lynn shared the ability to sing. Amanda was happy to admit she can sing, however, she doesn’t sing professionally. “Yeah, I do sing,” Setton confirmed. “But I don’t l professionally sing, and I’ve said to Wally [Kurth; Ned] and Josh [Swickard; Chase] and this other great girl who is on the show right now who plays the role of Blaze and has an amazing voice and stage presence, she is like a firecracker, she is amazing. You have to have a real confidence, and if it’s just us, or we’re in a studio, I could definitely sing.
“But I do think there’s a different level of command over the material and over the craft that one needs to have,” she continued, “and a comfort that I don’t know that I possess. Brook Lynn is such a badass and such a confident woman, I wouldn’t want to do her a disservice, so it just kind of worked out…the storyline, how it’s going. If there’s an opportunity where her vocal cords magically heal, which I’m sure in General Hospital-land, anything’s possible, then we’ll see what happens, but for right now, I am grateful in that sense that it’s not the end all, be all for Brook Lynn, is her voice. I can play badass pretty well. I don’t know that I could play badass singer so great.”
Wally Kurth aka Eddie Maine Weighs In
General Hospital’s Wally Kurth weighed in; “If I have anything to do with, it will be singing together at a Nurses Ball in the future,” Kurth happily told fans. Both parties seem to be on board while expecting a time when Brooklyn’s vocal cords are healed.
We hope that someday Wally and Amanda get the opportunity to show off their musical talents as Ned Ashton and his daughter BLQ!
