General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Compromises Sonny’s Business – The Meddling Karen Just Can’t Help Herself

General Hospital recaps recall Nina Reeves (Cynthis Watros) had been poking around Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Dr. TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) throughout the halls of GH. She took it upon herself to assume and accuse Willow and TJ of having an affair. Nina tries to make her meddling seem heroic with her passive aggressive tactics. Ava Jerome (Maura West) sees right through her, calling her out for the pot stirrer that she is.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Nina’s desire to be a whistleblower over TJ and Willow’s friendship blew up in her face. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow have less respect for Nina now more than ever before.

This time, Nina spies on Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) with friend and Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) associate Brick (Stephen A. Smith). Carly reached out to Sonny’s associate for a favor that would end up benefitting him in the end.

Carly’s daughter Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) has been nursing Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) wounds after a mission went sideways. Dex was acting on Sonny’s orders to derail Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) transport to Pentonville. When things went haywire Dex got shot and stumbled into Josslyn’s care. Now Joss needs some motherly love and advice. Carly knows a thing or two about tending to an injured bad boy while keeping it low key.

General Hospital rumors suggest the meddling Karen can’t help herself and Nina sounds the alarm again. Eavesdropping on Carly and Brick, Nina’s first thoughts are to run to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to tattle on Carly as she wanted to tattle on Willow to Michael.

Lisa LoCicero’s father has passed away. As a Grosse Pointe, Michigan native, General Hospital star Lisa LoCicero is from my neck of the woods. Growing up Italian on the East Side of Detroit, family meant something more than just biology.

LoCicero brought her Italian roots to her role as the spitfire from Bensonhurt, Olivia Falconeri. Olivia’s family values closely mirror those of traditional Italian families. She displays her roots when expressing her adoration for her sons Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Leo Jerome Quartermaine (Easton Rocket). Family, food, and prayer mean everything to Olivia.

Family is held in high regard by Olivia’s portrayer Lisa LoCicero as well. General Hospital spoilers reveal LoCicero has taken to Instagram to announce the devastating loss of a close family member.

General Hospital news reports confirm Lisa LoCicero’s (Olivia Falconeri) father has passed away. A recent IG post by LoCicero features childhood photos of herself with her father Robert Moffat, along with photos of her parents, Robert and Mary Moffat.

Esme returned to Port Charles after Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) presumed she was dead. Her physical altercation with Ava sent her right over the parapet and into oblivion. She was nowhere to be found and as a result, Nik and Ava wanted to wash their hands of her. They believed, well hoped, Esme was dead.

Tyler made it crystal clear he is willing to step in any time Marcus Coloma needs a day off. The Japanese Tantō resurfaces! The bond between Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was formed over their love for Nathan West (Ryan Paevey). Since his passing the ladies have gotten closer. So close they even exchange gifts.

General Hospital recaps recall Liesl Obrecht gifting Nina a knife, specifically a Japanese Tantō. Why would Liesl decide to give Nina a knife as a gift? We have asked the question over and over and can’t really come up with a logical explanation. However, we can think of a few theories as to why the Japanese Tantō may soon resurface.

General Hospital spoilers and rumors indicate the storyline surrounding Nina’s knife picks back up -along with the knife itself! There is no way this knife was brought about with zero intention of developing a storyline around it. GH rumors hint the knife could come in handy for Nina if she ever gets attacked by the hook killer. But something tells us the purpose of the Japanese Tantō is much more significant than that. Perhaps the weapon falls into the wrong hands, or, maybe Nina’s hands are the wrong hands.

General Hospital previews tease drama is about to intensify in Port Charles. The writers are trying very hard to make it look as if Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is the hook killer. We still think that’s too easy. With the rising threat, it’s possible Nina’s knife could be used in self defense. On the contrary, it may also be used in cold blood.
