General Hospital News: GH’s Michael Easton’s Struggle To Hold Onto His Character

Since joining the cast of Genera Hospital in 2012 as his One Life To Live persona, John McBain. Easton has played multiple characters such as Silas Clay, Stephen, and currently, Dr. Hamilton Finn.

General Hospital news reports Michael Easton tells Soaps In Depth, “It can be frustrating” when diving into the character he was set out to play as time has moved on and his character has evolved. Easton states that when he originated the role of Dr. Hamilton Finn, his character had OCD habits such as cleaning the silverware, but, “Anna straightened him out or something,” he then proceeds to disclose, “when I do things that I got away with doing before, [the powers that be] say it’s distracting. What do you mean it’s distracting? This is the character! So Finn can’t clean the silverware or do all the stuff he did. It can be frustrating.”

Hopefully TBTP give Easton a little more creative freedom so that he feels comfortable getting back to Finn’s root characteristics although the character has evolved. Let’s see what Easton brings to the table now that the players of Port Charles are back in action!

General Hospital Spoilers: Maxie And Lucy Must Make A Business Decision, Is This The End Of Sasha’s Career?

Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) is having a rough time after her breakup with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). She and Chase (Josh Swickard) destroyed their relationships for a selfless goal to make sure Wiley gets the best home. Now Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael believe Sasha and Chase cheated on them with each other.

Now the damage is done and Sasha is trying to work through the heartbreak and maintain a successful modeling career at Deception. Sasha has already been late and shown up to work w complete mess and odds are it won’t be her last offense.

General Hospital Spoilers: Brando’s Clandestine Meeting With Cyrus, Is Brando Back To His Old Habits?

Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) was thought to be deceased by those in Oort Charles who knew his mother, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs). Gladly told extended family like Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that her son had died. In actuality, Brando had a drug addiction after which developed after struggling with life after the military. Brando’s mother Gladys, was ashamed of her son’s addiction and told people he was dead.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Brando will meet with drug trafficker, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) in secret, which will reveal a past connection.

General Hospital rumors suggest its possible Brando is meeting with Cyrus because now that he is clean, he wants to make sure drugs are nowhere near his new hometown of Port Charles. If Brando and Cyrus have a past that Brando seems to be running away from, Cyrus may not be ready to let Brando live freely and could threaten him to keep ties with the mob.

Other General Hospital rumors claim Brando may turn back down a dark path, and fall into his addiction once again.

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) had a feeling from the beginning there was more to Brando than meets the eye, and Jason isn’t known to be wrong about people when he meets them. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is sneaky and conniving, and typically gets what he wants and doesn’t care who gets hurt in the process. But lately, Valentin has been down on his luck. It’s seems he has tried multiple paths trying to get his hands on shares of ELQ with no prevail, even involving himself with the town crazy, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier).

will propose an offer to Sam, asking for shares of ELQ in exchange for freedom to see Jason again. Sam is desperate to be near Jason and would do anything to make her problem go away- but will she jeopardize her children’s future and trust that Valentin will come through? Sam could possibly have a change of heart and decide to be patient and wait out the length of her parole, leaving Valentin unsuccessful yet again.

General Hospital news and spoilers previously confirmed that the cast and crew has been back to work, filming new episodes of General Hospital, since Wednesday, July 22nd.

In a recent Instagram post, GH actress Kirsten Storms expressed her feelings about being back to work playing Maxie Jones. Things got emotional for the star as she walked through the doors of Prospect Studios after a good four months time. Needless to say she was happy to be back in her comfort zone and ready to bring Maxie back to her life adventures in Port Charles.

General Hospital News: GH’s Robert Palmer Watkins (Dillon) Posts Racy Photo In “Fry-Day” Social Media Post

Genera Hospital’s Robert Palmer Watkins started as Dillon Quartermaine in 2015, and left the show in 2017. In a 2017 interview Watkins revealed that it was not his decision to leave the show. Since then, many General Hospital spoilers and rumors have gone back and forth with the idea of his return, however, nothing concrete has developed at this time.
