Jason Thompson Contemplates Leaving General Hospital

PatrickEmmaJason Thompson joined the cast of General Hospital in 2005. GH cast and crew along with adoring fans have been graced with his presence on GH for the past decade. We have gotten to know and love his character, Dr. Patrick Drake. Son of the iconic Noah Drake (Rick Springfield), Thompson knew his character Patrick has some expectations to live up to. Almost right away. Thompson was paired along side one of General Hospital’s most loved and respected actresses, Kimberly McCullough. After some ups and downs for Dr. Scorpio and Dr, Drake, the doctor duo became a super couple in Port Charles.

General Hospital spoilers reveal some unsettling news for Jason Thompson and Dr. Drake fans. According to Daytime Confidential, Thompson’s contract with General Hospital is just about expired, and rumor has it that he has been contemplating leaving the show. Some GH rumors claim that Thompson has been going back and forth with his decision since Kimberly McCullough left GH, and felt that there was nothing much for Patrick in Port Charles. It would seem that on the contrary, since Robin left Patrick, there has been quite a bit of excitement in Port Charles for Patrick. He is stellar as Emma’s dad, an amazing (ex) son in law to Anna, a phenomenal doctor, a great friend to Elizabeth, and a hot romance with Sam.

Now that we are on the verge of Jason remembering who he actually is and who he belongs with, this obviously poses a problem for Sam and Patrick’s relationship. Does this mean that once Sam and Jason reunite, there will be nothing left for Jason Thompson’s character on the show?

Many fans would be devastated to see Jason Thompson exit General Hospital. Patrick Drake has lived in Port Charles and inside our hearts for an entire decade. He brings so much to the show; his talent, his devastatingly good looks, his ability to connect with his on screen daughter, Emma (Brooklyn Silzer), and every romance he has with a leading lady is full of chemistry and passion.

What will be in store for Patrick Drake in order for Jason Thompson to agree to renew his contract? With Sam and Patrick’s relationship seemingly coming to an end, there must be something out there for Patrick to take part in, to keep Thompson wanting to stay. Let us know what you think! General Hospital News: True or False; Is Nancy Suspended from ABC for Twitter Incident?

NancytwitterThe aftermath of this past weekend’s Twitter incident between General Hospital’s Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) and How to Get Away With Murder’s, Viola Davis, hasn’t fizzled out just yet.

General Hospital Blog previously reported that Nancy had expressed her opinion of Viola Davis’ acceptance speech at this year’s Emmy Awards. Many were taken back by her raw opinion and Nancy was immediately under fire for her series of tweets.

General Hospital rumors are swirling, claiming that Grahn has been suspended indefinitely from ABC while the situation is being investigated. However, these claims seem to be far fetched, and it is highly unlikely that this rumor is false. There has been no confirmation either way, whether or not Nancy has been suspended from the ABC Network or not.

Kristina Returns! How Will She Take the News About Sonny?

At this point there isn’t much that Sonny’s family can do. So the Corinthos clan just has to wait, hope, and pray, as the head of their family (pun intended) fights for his life.

GH recaps highlight Sonny and Carly’s wedding day drama. It was supposed to be a happy day full of love and family. Instead, Sonny was shot on the day he was supposed to marry his love, Carly. The two were preparing for their 5th wedding to one another. According to the recent GH recaps, Sonny risked his life to save TJ Ashford. Sonny promised his friend and enforcer, Shawn, that he would protect the boy and he did just that.

Morgan’s Revenge

General Hospital spoilers reveal that the aftermath of Sonny’s shooting will make a huge impact on the lives in Port Charles. First, Sonny’s youngest son Morgan faces whether or not he will be diagnosed with bipolar disorder, just like his dad. So far, signs are pointing to yes. Morgan is displaying some of the same characteristics that would lead to a bipolar diagnosis. After Sonny was shot, Morgan was beside himself with grief and anger. The thought of losing his dad has his mind spinning out of control… so much that he will go to extreme measures to get justice.

According to GH previews, Morgan is ready to end Julian’s life. He’s out for revenge and won’t let anyone deter him from getting justice for Sonny. Moreover, General Hospital spoilers indicate that Sonny’s incident will adversely affect many lives in Port Charles. As a result of the incident, the Jason Morgan reveal will begin to unravel. Sam, Maxie, and Ric, have already started to notice the similarities between Jake Doe and Jason Morgan right after the shooting on the pier.

Furthermore, GH rumors claim that Sonny’s story line has set the stage for November Sweeps. As previously reported, GH spoilers indicate the Jason Morgan reveal takes place during that time.

Today the Corinthos family will experience a highly emotional time as they brace for what is in store for Sonny. At this point they don’t know if he will make it out alive, and if he does live, he faces the possibility of paralysis.

Understandably, the Daytime Drama’s leading storyline has caused an uproar among the fans. GH’s long-time audience fear the potentially losing Port Charles’s favorite mobster. According to the latest General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) fate is decided. What is going to happen next for Sonny and the rest of the Corinthos clan?

GH previews indicate that the mobster’s life hangs by a thread as Carly, Michael, Morgan, Sam, and Jake, wait helplessly at the hospital. Meanwhile, Ric causes trouble for Carly and her kids. He is in denial, and so he repudiates Michael, and Morgan’s significance in Sonny’s life. Sadly, Ric’s petty drama ensues contemporaneously while Sonny fights for his life.

GH’s TJ Ashford, Tequan Richmond, Lands New Role

TJMollyGeneral Hospital spoilers reveal that Tequan Richmond, who plays TJ Ashford has landed a new role on Showtime. Richmond joined the cast of General Hospital back in 2012, and currently plays alongside some of Port Charles’ biggest names. TJ is loyal to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), boyfriend of Molly Lansing Davis (Hayley Pullos), and son of Police Commissioner, Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine).

Richmond will be playing a teen dad, with three children. The Showtime pilot will take place and be filmed in Chicago. This leads to the question of whether or not Tequan will be working both at Prospect Studios in LA, as well as taping the new pilot across the country in Chicago.

General Hospital Blog will keep fans updated on whether or not Port Charles will be saying goodbye to TJ Ashford.

Find Out Why Next Week’s GH is MUST SEE!

CarSonweddingFans go back and forth with their opinion of the story lines and plots written for their favorite characters. General Hospital has recently announced that Head Writer, Ron Carlivati had been let go, and his place was taken by two Co-writers, Jean Passanante and Shelly Altman. Fans were left with the question of when we will start to see the work of Jean and Shelly debut on our screens.

According to ABC TV Network manager, Nathan Varni, next week’s episodes will feature episodes that were shot right in the middle of the writer switch. Varni writes via Facebook, “Frank and team did a marvelous job in fine tuning these episodes to hopefully feel more like the GH you know and love.”

End Online Hate! Bryan Craig Takes Step Back from Twitter

BryanCIt seems like a growing trend for people to hide behind their keyboard to verbally attack another person. This isn’t the first time we have heard of “cyber bullying” and it isn’t even the first time it has happened with an actor on General Hospital.

A few weeks back, GH actress, Emme Rylan (Lulu Spencer), experienced so much negativity and hate on the social media site Twitter, that she addressed her fans, letting them know she was taking a break from the site to avoid the hurtful, negative, and hateful discussions.

Over the weekend, GH actor Bryan Craig (Morgan Corinthos) experienced the same treatment from so-called GH fans on Twitter. Bryan received a lot of online hate and is just about fed up. He was supported by his co-star and TV Dad, Maurice Benard, along with other friends and c0-stars.

General Hospital Blog wants to encourage FANS to be just that, true FANS. Why do people find the need to want to put others down, or to verbally attack them? It’s easy for cruel behavior to spiral when someone is hiding behind their computer, but just because it’s easy to spout the negativity, doesn’t mean it’s easy to ignore. These are REAL PEOPLE, with REAL FEELINGS. They are human beings. Let’s BE KIND to those around us, even in cyber space. Please, let’s put an end to cyber bullying, to online hate. We are human. Be kind.
