General Hospital’s favorite off screen couple has decided to call it quits. Though their characters Maxie Jones and JOhnny Zacchara had a brief romance on screen, the actors found love and become a family with their daughter, Harper Rose.
Kirsten Storms and Brandon Barash told Soap Opera Digest the news fans will find devastating. “We are splitting due to the cliche irreconcilable differences, but we’re splitting amicably,” Barash told SOD. :We have every intention of remaining a family through this and successfully co-parenting our kid and retaining a friendship in the efforts of raising her in a healthy environment.”
Kirsten Storms said, “We went to therapy for a long time, trying to figure out how to communicate better with each other.” Barash added, “But we’ve decided that raising our daughter in two separate homes would be a healthier choice for all of us.”
GH Blog is sad to report the news of Storms and Barash’s recent split. We wish them all the very best.
Sean Blakemore has just received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor as Shawn Butler on ABC’s General Hospital.
General Hospital fans and Sean have another thing to be excited about. His return to GH as Shawn Butler. General Hospital spoilers revealed the big news that Blakemore will return to GH on April 4th!
However, his appearance as Shawn will be short lived, as it is only for one episode. Although his return will be brief, there is reason behind this character’s return, and fans now have assurance that Shawn has not been forgotten, and that we WILL be seeing more of him in the future.
The latest General Hospital Blog news reported that Rebecca Herbst settled her contract negotiations with General Hospital. Although the actress and the show were able to come to an agreement, Rebecca will be gone from the canvas for a period of time.
General Hospital spoilers have revealed Rebecca will be on hiatus, and possibly won’t start taping again until mid-April. Herbst told Soap Opera Digest, “Because this contract negotiation went right up to the last minute, they did have to stop writing for me for a little while. I might not even be back taping until the second week of April, so Elizabeth is going to disappear for a little bit on your screens. They are going to try to sprinkle me in, but outlines have already been written, so I don’t know how much they can actually put me in.”
Rebecca last taped scenes as Elizabeth Webber on March 8th, 2016. Although Liz fans may be missing their girl, it will only be for a short time.
Rebecca Herbst originated the role of trouble teen, Elizabeth Webber back in 1997. For almost 20 years, Liz has become a fan favorite, as well as a rival for fans when it comes to Sam Morgan.
Liz has had quite the life in Port Charles with her Grandmother, Audrey, her great love Lucky Spencer, Her passion for Jason Morgan, her three boy, Cameron, Jake, and Aiden, and much more.
Contract negotiations between the actress and General Hospital Executives have been under way for quite some time, leaving fans wondering if Liz will be exiting Port Charles, as Herbst was rumored to be leaving GH.
We are happy to announce that Rebecca Herbst contract negotiations have been settled, and she will be sticking around at General Hospital for the foreseeable future.
Liz fans can now breath a little easier knowing that their girl Liz will be around to stir about trouble for the men, -and women of PC!

Tracy Quartermaine is currently experiencing some life threatening health issues. In recent episodes of GH, Jane Elliot’s character, Tracy, has been experiencing neurological symptoms, and seizure.
Although her son Dillon (Robert Palmer Watkins) came as soon as he received the call from Hayden that his mom was having an episode, it looks as though her other son, Ned will soon be near her mom, in Port Charles.
Exciting General Hospital news just broke, as GH spoilers reveal that long time, fan favorite, Wally Kurth is returning to General Hospital as Ned Ashton.
Kurth’s current status on Days of Our Lives has dropped from contract to recurring, which in turn allows him to return to General Hospital on a recurring status as well.
Ned may be involved in Tracy’s health story, and we can’t forget his love he left behind, Olivia Falconeri (Lisa LoCicero).
Is there still hope for these two to become a real couple?

Benard was diagnosed with Bi-polar disorder, and is open about what he has gone through, his treatment, growth, and life, involving this disorder. On screen, Sonny Corinthos faces the same struggles as the actor who portrays him, along with his TV son, Morgan, played by Bryan Craig.
