General Hospital News And Spoilers: Genie Francis Returns… With Martin In Tow?

General Hospital star, Genie Francis has been off canvas for a few months. Earlier this year, General Hospital news reports confirmed that Genie would be leaving GH temporarily.

General Hospital news and spoilers indicate that all the talk about Mayor Collins, aka, Grandma Laura, wasn’t all for nothing. It turns out that Francis is set to return to General Hospital after her Summer vacation from the daytime drama.

General Hospital rumor reports claim Francis will return when Laura Spencer and her brother Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) end their stay in hiding at a safe house, making their way back to Port Charles.

Laura’s grandson, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) is in hot water after being outed and confessing to being Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) stalker. The only helping hand he has right now is the very same one that out him behind bars. Spencer needs a break other than Ava’s offer, hoping Grandma Laura will save the day.

Laura and Martin’s lives were threatened by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), after Laura’s involvement in getting him sent to federal prison. General Hospital spoilers and rumors suggest that something big brings Laura and Martin back home, where they will be less protected than when in hiding. What could possibly go wrong?

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) had a funny feeling about the night he arrived home in Port Charles, after finding his wife, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), in the master bedroom with best friend, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

With everything going on after his return, Sonny put what he saw on the back burner until he couldn’t shake the feeling any longer. General Hospital News: GH Star Amber Tamblyn (ex-Emily Quartermaine) Shows Love For GH Family

Actress Amber Tamblyn joined the cast of General Hospital, back in 1995, playing the role of Emily Quartermaine until 2001. Tamblyn was 11 years old when she took on the role of being an adopted addition to the legendary Quartermaine family.

Back in June, in the wake of co-star and TV father, Stuart Damon’s (Alan Quartermaine) death, General Hospital news reports reveal Amber took to Twitter to reflect on her time with the GH family, and publicly displayed love and support for Damon and the rest of the cast and crew of General Hospital.

General Hospital Spoilers: Cameron Is In The Hot Seat!

Cameron Webber (William Lipton), Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) came up with a plan to trap Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez), into ultimately coming clean about being Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) stalker.

The teen’s plan to get Spencer to tell the truth was successful, but now they question if they have done more harm than good when it comes to making things worse between Spencer and his dad, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).

General Hospital spoilers reveal now that Ava has had Spencer arrested for stalking, among all of the other crimes he committed against her, his only way out would be with the help of his friends.

General Hospital News And Spoilers: Sofia Mattsson Ends Maternity Leave, Carries Around Baby Bump

Last month, General Hospital news reports confirmed the latest GH comings and goings updates regarding Sofia Mattsson.

It was announced that the GH actress would be stepping off the canvas temporarily, due to maternity leave. General Hospital spoilers revealed that her character, Sasha Gilmore, was said to have been in bed rest during her absence from the soap opera.

Recent GH news revealed Sofia returned to the show after being on maternity leave, while her character, Sasha, remains pregnant.

In a recent Instagram post, Mattsson shared a pic of herself wearing a fake baby bump. She no longer has her own bump since giving birth. General Hospital spoilers reveal she has explained that Sasha is wearing a fake pregnancy prop.

Sofia’s caption reads, “So happy and excited to be back at my favorite place ???????? And this fake belly is a lot lighter to wear than the real one! ????”

General Hospital News: GH’s Cameron Mathison Opens Up About His And His Mother’s Battle With Cancer

General Hospital has recently welcomed an addition to the cast, a daytime TV vet, to replace Billy Miller as Drew Cain. Cameron Mathison made his debut, taking over the role on August 17, 2021.

General Hospital news reports reveal Cameron had announced that he was battling cancer, back in 2019. Mathison revealed he has kidney cancer, and the tumor has been removed. Thankfully, today Cameron Mathison is is cancer free.

General Hospital spoilers reveal that in addition to Mathison’s diagnosis, four months later, his mother, Loretta, was diagnosed with brain cancer. Today, she is still battling the illness, while thankfully, her son is cancer free.

In a recent interview, Mathison explained when he found out he was cancer free for the first time in two years. He disclosed, “Seems fitting I’m in Florida visiting her when I got the news that my two-year cancer checkup came back totally clear. Thank you for all the well wishes… I can’t tell you how much it means.” Mathison goes on to say, “My doctor said, ‘Whatever you’re doing, it’s working because your kidney numbers are the best they’ve been!’” Mathison reported before thanking physique and health coach Allen Cress for his help in achieving his goals.”

General Hospital news reports reveal that Loretta is still fighting the good fight, with her son by her side. Mathison expressed his love and support in a heartfelt message, “Now it’s your turn, Mom, to beat the odds,” he continues, “I love you so much and I’m here for you like you were for me.”
