General Hospital News: Maurice Benard Shares Photo Of Close Call With California Fires, Names Firefighters As Heroes

General Hospital star Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos) is active on social media platforms, letting fans in on much of her home life and family. He adores his home and pet goats he films frequently and posts his “Buddy” on IG. The California fires have no boundaries, and without the help of first responders, the situation would be much worse.

General Hospital news reports confirm GH icon, Maurice Benard has credited firefighters for his and his family’s safety during these California forest fires. He specifically calls out his son-in-law, Carlos Avila, for his heroism as a California firefighter.

After Peter’s threat/blackmail, Nina was left stunned with nowhere to turn. General Hospital spoilers reveal Nina has found someone to turn to- Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), to help handle the situation. And even though “Mike” has no idea the betrayal Nina is currently stirring, he too has her back when it comes to Peter.

General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Reaches Out For Help

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has taken her lie one step at a time, dealing with each close call as they come, somehow wiggling her way out of the sticky situations. This time Nina won’t be so lucky.

Finally, someone from Port Charles has discovered that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is alive and that Nina has been keeping him hidden and all to herself. Peter August (Wes Ramsey) finding Sonny and Nina is probably even worse than Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) making the shocking discovery. At least then, Nina wouldn’t be forced to do things that would betray those she cares about more than she already has.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Nina reaches out for help after Peter uses what he has discovered as a plan to trap Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Nina is backed into a corner, risking being exposed, or risking Maxie and Louise’s lives.

General Hospital rumors suggest Nina will either sell out Maxie and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), and tell Peter what is going on with his baby, or she will turn to a dear friend for help. Either way, it looks like Nina will be spilling Maxie and Brook Lynn‘a secret.

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) made his intentions toward Nina very clear. Nina knows that Valentin would do anything to help her if she so simply made the request. She believes that if she told Valentin the truth about Brook Lynn’s lie about baby Bailey, that he would see past what Brook Lynn did and be able to protect baby Louise anyways.

General Hospital News And Spoilers: GH Star Sofia Mattsson Gives Birth To First Child

Back in June, General Hospital Blog broke the news, revealing that General Hospital star Sofia Mattsson was excited to announce that she could share in her character, Sasha Gilmore’s pregnancy journey. Gilmore revealed she too was pregnant with her first child.

General Hospital news reports confirm Sasha has given birth to her first child. According to her Instagram, her son was born four weeks ago on July 26th.

General Hospital News: ‘Dynasty’ And ‘All My Children’ Star Michael Nader Has Died

The soap opera genre is like one big family which extends behind specific shows and networks. Whether a daytime soap or prime time drama, those who worked on shows like these have a special bond across the genre.

Although not directly related to GH, General Hospital news reports confirm a fellow soap star has recently passed away. Michael Nader, who was best known for starring in the 1980s prime time drama, Dynasty as Dex Dexter, and his iconic role as Dimitri Marick on ABC’s, All My Children. Nader landed the role in which would forever be remembered as Erica Kane’s (Susan Lucci) husband. This became his most popular role. In the early 70s, Nader played Kevin Thompson on, As The World Turns.

It has been reported that Michael Nader died at his home in North Carolina on August 23rd, after fighting his battle with cancer. Nader’s wife, Jodi Lister, along with their family dog, Storm, was with him in his final moments. Michael was 76 years old.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Jodi Lister broke the news to Michael Fairman, stating, “With heavy heart, I’m sharing the news of the passing of my beloved, Michael,” Lister told Fairman. “We had 18 wonderful years together with the many dogs we fostered and adopted. Recently, Michael was so thrilled to reconnect with his friends from the cast of Dynasty during Emma Samms virtual event to help raise funds for Long-Covid research. He was a beautiful and fascinating man with many talents and skills. I will miss him forever.”

Michael Nader has left behind his wife of 18-years, Jodi Lister, his stepmother Lillian, sister Stephanie, daughter Lindsay, ex-wife Robin, son-in-law Trevor, granddaughter Juniper, and dog, Storm.

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has managed to keep Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) a secret from the entire city of Port Charles for many months. It’s been a long time coming for karma to do it’s job and come to bite her in the @$$.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Nina is a ikr to her what she deserves in the form of karma now that Peter has discovered her dark secret. Peter’s goal is to her to Maxie and their baby, Louise. Peter will use what he has discovered about Nina to back her into a corner.

General Hospital rumors suggest that Peter is going to use Nina and Maxie’s trust in her to trap Maxie. Nina is desperate to keep Sonny all to herself and has gone to great lengths to cover her tracks over these many months. GH rumors claim Nina will be blackmailed by Peter as he threatens to expose her to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), Sonny himself, and everyone else back home. What will Nina have to do in return for Peter’s silence?!
