To be honest, I’ve never seen Lucy as a bad guy, but now that Tracy sort of laid it all out there, I can see how Lucy’s selfish decisions have detrimental effects on others. And without a care in the world she coasts on by.

Recent GH spoilers and rumors indicate that Lucy approaches Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) regarding a sensitive issue. With all that’s going on with Sasha, Lucy worries that she’s yet another dark cloud hanging over her company. Ultimately, in her moments of desperation, Lucy turns on Sasha to save herself. General Hospital News and Spoilers: Kathleen Gati Brings Liesl Back To GH

General Hospital can be a revolving door for certain actors on the show. Throughout the years many have gone on to other things with the safety net of a welcomed return. That is, only if you’re a fan favorite. Because not everyone has the luxury of popping in and out. Often times an actor leaves and the role is recast.

Saying goodbye to a favorite character/actor can be tough. And that’s exactly how we all felt when Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) lost her daughter. Unlike many other soap opera deaths, sadly, Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is gone for good.

Moreover, Liesl didn’t stick around much after Britt died. She did what she had to do as Willow Tait Corinthos’s (Katelyn MacMullen) bone marrow donor and went on her way. So, Blair plans to push Martin down the aisle with Lucy so that his alimony stops. Despite the fact that Blair’s plan checks a lot of boxes, it’s still not a guarantee. What makes her think that Lucy still wants to marry Marty after what he’s done? And the gaslighting, don’t even get me started how Martin gaslighting Lucy. Sadly, he denies any involvement in the Deceptor as Lucy simply wants to give credit where credit is due.

It’s only a matter of time before the truth hits the headlines. It was all a setup, and Martin’s ex-wife #3 just came for what’s hers. Well, and then some.

General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Confronts An Ungrateful Ava

Out of all of Sonny’s ex-wives and lovers, I’d have to say that Carly [Corinthos] Spencer (Laura Wright) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) have the most grit. In fact, both women have displayed strong personalities with survival skills that are unmatched by most. Unlike Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and some other, weaker woman who have warmed Sonny’s bed- (or a crypt if you’re Ava), Carly and Ava know what it takes to survive in Sonny’s world. But only Carly has the loyalty.

GH recaps recall a pure Sonny and Carly moment when he asked for his ex-wife’s help. Although more cautious than her old self, Carly still agrees to step up for her ex-husband. Apparently, Ava Jerome (Maura West) forgets the sacrifices that it takes to help protect loved ones.

That said, GH spoilers tease that Ava overlooks Carly’s sacrifice. Despite the fact that Ava ultimately benefits from Carly’s loyalty to Sonny, she had the nerve to give Carly a hard time. Because by agreeing to help Sonny, Carly helps protect his and Ava’s daughter, Avery. There’s no doubt that Carly wouldn’t do what it takes to protect a child. Even if that means not only helping her ex, but also helping one of his ex-lovers.

Maybe it’s just me but I find that nostalgia has a way of bringing communities together. Like, when you and a life long friend begin to reminisce about the days of old, and reflect on the good times. In doing so we tend to remember certain people and events that bring a sense of comfort to mind.

For me, the same goes for television and music. Almost all of today’s top 40 pop songs contain music samples from the past. So when you hear this fresh sound with a familiar twist, you kinda feel right at home. Well, that’s how it is for me when my faves from the past return.

I started watching General Hospital in the 1990s like many of you. And I can honestly say that this era seems to have left the most permanent mark on GH fans. That said, do you remember the popular character, Karen Wexler, played by Cari Sheen? She was right there in the middle of heated storylines involving strip clubs, drugs, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

It was the age of “The Island,” when Karen, Jason Quartermaine (Steve Burton), and Jagger Cates (Antonio Sabato Jr.) got stranded on an island. Moreover, it was the first jig storyline my pre-teen self really got into. And for that I will always remember and be grateful I beg and watching GH when I did.

Although Cyrus admits to helping take down star formidable mobster, it sounds like he might be a spectator in the Pikeman deal. This comes as a shock to many fans since Cyrus has been the number one pick for Pikeman. If not him, then who? And why is Drew held hostage in Pentonville?

Port Charles has become a melting pot for fictional cities from ABC soaps. Like Jackson Montgomery (Walt Willey) from Pine Valley, Blair Cramer from Llanview is from one of ABC’s since cancelled, sister soaps. Personally, I love that ABC keeps these characters alive. They’ve been a part of our culture for so long, and shouldn’t be forgotten. I believe that General Hospital, (and Port Charles) is the perfect place to bring these names back to life. Meaning, the character and the actors who are most famous for portraying them.
