Steve Burton reprises his role. Daytime TV icon, Steve Burton is best known for his good-hearted, bad boy role on ABC’s General Hospital. He said, “It was kind of like, “We already have an idea for 3. Could you come back to Days and maybe finish that arc?’ “That’s how it led into the story coming to DAYS. It’s a continuation of BEYOND SALEM.” Burton explained, “I don’t want to say it was an easy decision,” he admitted. “With BEYOND SALEM, it was an easy decision because it was a limited run.
“And I had such a great experience there with the people I worked with and the producers. When they brought [returning] up, I was way more open to it than I probably would have been prior,” he went on, “because I have businesses I’m growing that are doing well. I’m doing what I love to do, coaching people. And I’ve got my kids. So my life was great, I have all this stuff going on. But I do love to act and how this came about was great. So I was like, ‘Yeah, sure. I’ll come back.’ When you’re in the business 36 years and people are still calling? I’m super-grateful.”

We know that Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) called upon his cousin Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) when Nikolas went missing from Wyndemere. Furthermore, the fact that Mason and Austin answer to a mystery boss leads us to believe Victor is pulling the strings. Victor is obsessed with the Cassadine’s. According to General Hospital rumors, Victor took Nikolas from the locked room. If that’s true, the possibility that Victor kidnapped Liesl to save Nikolas explains why she’s missing.
In addition, Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) family is in a panic over Liesl’s disappearance. Her bone marrow transplant surgery is scheduled the day after the Nurses Ball. It seems like she gave it a good week and then turned to her old habits. But seriously, Gladys’s self reflection surrounding her son Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) death gave Sasha and Sonny hope. Sadly, they will soon come to find that she hasn’t changed at all. And for Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), her life is in the hands of a greedy, remorseless, thief!
Who does Gladys think she’s messing with? It’s one thing if she thinks Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will show her any type of mercy because they’re family. In Port Charles, one particular villain has reeked immense detriment over and over again throughout the years.
Every so often a random villain with an outlandish and sinister agenda enters Port Charles. Sometimes they work alone, other times there’s a mystery “boss,” and other times the villain blackmails an innocent citizen to aid in their plot. There are also times when the latest enemy has ties to someone. But the biggest threats and the most extreme danger typically come from one particular family.
As a mobster, surely Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) brings about violence and threats to the community. Countless mob wars and child snatchings, among other horrific crimes have taken place as a result of his business. However, the family that executes more acts of violence than the entire mob is the Cassadine family.
