It’s incredible how time flies! One day it’s December of 2020, and a fan-favorite leaves General Hospital. Then before you know it, it’s creeping up on four years since then, and whispers of a return fill social media news feeds.
General Hospital recaps recall when Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) went to visit Lulu at her care facility. This past August, Charlotte teared up at her mother’s bedside. She struggles with her mother’s absence, in addition to other family issues. That’s why many fans believe that it’s the perfect time to wake up Charlotte’s mother, Lulu.
Meanwhile, Valentin’s got his work cut out for him on the home front. He’s a father first and foremost, but a Cassadine nonetheless. With that comes challenges that he and Charlotte struggle to handle on his own. According to recent GH spoilers and rumors, it makes perfect sense to wake Lulu from her coma at this time. Naturally, Lulu is a Spencer! She’s strong, resourceful, and most importantly, the Spencer family gives the Cassadines a run for their money. Currently, Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) reach has gone beyond the grave, making Lulu’s daughter his target.
Emme Rylan Breaks Silence On Lulu Spencer’s Return
General Hospital news and spoilers reveal the latest on Emme Rylan and her role as Lulu Spencer. Finally, the actress addressed all the buzz as storyline dialogue recently began to name drop Lulu Spencer. The actress made it crystal clear that she’s open and willing to return to General Hospital as the iconic Lulu.
Additionally, Rylan disclosed that she’s under the impression that TPTB will call her if and when they plan for Lulu to awaken from her coma. In regard to the flood of fan messages and inquiries the actress started by saying, “I am getting approximately one million messages asking if Lulu is waking up and… I don’t want to ruin storyline ever. I am very much into the integrity of storylines whether I’m in them or not. So I’ve been putting it off and putting it off and putting off talking. Because I’m getting so many messages! I don’t know what to say!”
There’s a fine line between what is allowed to be disclosed and what satisfies the fan’s inquiries. Emme addressed the situation the best she could. She concluded her explanation by stating, “So basically, the bottom line, no matter what the internet says, I have made it very clear to GH that I am always available to play Lulu should she ever want to wake up. It is my understanding that when they choose to wake her up, they would be calling me. That could always change. Who knows? But that is my understanding. When they want to wake her up, they will call me. That’s as much as I know and I have not heard from them.”
What do you think? Are the writers preparing to wake up Lulu just as Charlotte needs her mother the most?
I can just hear it now, “Mason the Hero!” Will Austin Holt’s mysterious, bald headed, lollipop licking cousin go from a miscreant to a knight in shining armor? From Ava’s worst nightmare to her rescuer?
If you missed any part of Fridays 9/29/23 episode, then you may have missed the dramatic scene on Spoon Island. General Hospital recaps indicate that Ava’s in a bad way! Over at Wyndemere, Ava Jerome (Maura West) collects her thoughts. She’s finally alone for the night and can kick back when she’s interrupted by an unwanted guest. Then, Mason appears right before her eyes! Well, we can assure you that he didn’t whisk her off her feet and head to Paradise. But we do have an inkling that if Mason chooses differently, Ava will be dead.
Mason Does The Right Thing… For A Reward?
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Mason saves Ava’s life while risking his own. As of now, Ava thinks she killed her ex-husband. In fact, she had a witness. But neither of them even checked to see if he was actually dead. And besides, Austin’s lying to Ava anyway. He knows darn all that Nikolas is alive but he’s playing this game with Mason and their mystery boss. While it’s apparent that Austin can’t be trusted, he doesn’t aw all bad. Perhaps he’s being forced or coerced? Either way, Ava can’t trust him.
Now she’s been abducted by his cousin and her life is in danger. However, GH spoilers and rumors hint that Mason makes a decision that saves Ava’s life. As more about Cyrus’s connection to Mason and Austin unfolds, GH rumors speculate that Cyrus ordered Mason to kill Ava but Mason can’t go through with it. Instead, he brings her to Nikolas Cassadine. But before you get all starry eyed over Mason’s act of heroism, take into consideration that it wasn’t all selflessness. Nope, he didn’t do this out of the pure kindness of his heart. Ok, maybe a little.
GH spoilers and rumors tease that Nikolas offered Mason a generous reward if he delivered Ava to him. From this point on, Mason has a target on his back.
Prove it! Does Brando’s mom really mean what she says? If so, will she prove it to her daughter-in-law?Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) is a saint. Sasha’s pain expels from Sofia as she conveys every single ounce of hurt and disbelief. Not to mention the devastating disappointment to know that someone you love never really loved you at all. Despite her anguish, Sasha bravely faces Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs).
General Hospital spoilers reveal that now that Sasha has Gladys cornered, she wants answers. Not just answers, but Sasha wants a full confession from her mother-in-law, Gladys. Thanks to Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), and even Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sam (Kelly Monaco), Sasha is physically safe. However, Sasha’s mental state and emotional wellbeing remains fragile.
Meanwhile in her fragile, yet formidable state, Sasha bravely followed through with Sam’s plan to corner Gladys. GH recaps recall that’s when Sasha popped up on Gladys unannounced.
General Hospital spoilers indicate that Saint Sasha gives Gladys one last chance to prove her love. The intense scene was left a Wednesday cliffhanger when Sasha asked Gladys to prove her love by turning herself in. Does Greedy Gladys really mean what she says when she says that she loves Sasha?
Did Sasha’s happily ever after happen too easily? Honestly, I didn’t think so. In fact, I can speak for most GH fans when I say that Sasha has been through more than most. And frankly, she’s suffered enough.
What’s next for Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson)? According to GH recaps, Sasha and Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) plan to trap Greedy Gladys was a success. And the prank phone call worked like a charm. That’s when they got their queue to proceed with the plan. Sam just had her moment in the spotlight, but it’s Sasha’s time to shine.
Currently, she finds herself in a heartbreakingly awkward encounter. General Hospital spoilers and previews indicate that Sasha and Gladys come face to face.
Sofia Mattsson has been put to the test. Shes killing it in the Sasha role. So much so that fans display genuine concern for But maybe in the soap world Sasha isn’t ready for happiness. On the contrary, GH spoilers reveal that Sasha’s problems are behind her.
General Hospital spoilers suggest that in order for Sasha to get over her problem (Gladys), she must face it head on. Sasha wants Gladys to pay and that exactly her intentions when she shows up at the door. Will a corners desperate Gladys turn violent to save herself from being arrested?
You can just tell what Nina’s about to do simply by the look on her face. She’s never been able to hold back her thoughts when her facial expressions tell all. On the contrary, Nina’s mouth does quite the opposite. Well, her facial expressions can’t lie or hide the truth, her mouth can keep a secret if it’s own!
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Carly Spencer Corinthos (Laura Wright) is livid. She agreed to help Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) because that’s just who they are to each over. But, Carly has moved on and just because she’s willing to help Sonny, it doesn’t mean that she doesn’t have conditions and boundaries. Reluctantly, Carly agreed to help Sonny but only if he could assure her that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is still safe in Pentonville.
According to GH recaps, Drew is far from safe. He was beaten badly by on behalf of Sonny’s enemy, and now he’s fighting for his life.
GH spoilers and previews indicate that Carly confronts Ava Jerome (Maura West) about her friend Austin Holt (Roger Howarth). To Carly’s dismay, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) stands beside Ava with something on her mind. It looks like Nina wants to start spitting insults and some holier than thou words for Carly. However, today isn’t the day for Nina’s two cents.
General Hospital reached 1 million Facebook followers
Do you recall what was going on in Port Charles in 2013? Sure, ten years is a long time but we aren’t amateurs. Of course we can remember the happenings of Port Charles from ten years back! Remembering one measly decade is nothing compared to the OG fans. Those General Hospital stans are the true ride or die types who have watched since day one (April 1st, 1963). That’s six decades!
General Hospital Reached 1 Million Followers, Cast ThanksFans
While many of us started watching this iconic Soap Opera before we even had our first kiss, we encourage new, fresh fans every day! It’s nice to be able to grow the fan base, especially geared toward the younger generation. As I recall, I began watching General Hospital in 1992 with my mom and my sister. And throughout my pre-teens and high school years my friends also watched. Sadly, today most of my friends have stopped watching. And let’s be honest, we aren’t friends anymore either lol. Haha but that’s another thing.
Remember when Julian called himself Derek Wells?!
It’s hard to below that 2013 was ten years ago. General Hospital news and spoilers confirm that 10 years ago today, General Hospital reached 1 minion Facebook followers. It’s an impressive milestone for daytime drama. And 10 years later and GH is going strong.
There should be a sign around both Carly and Sonny’s necks as disclaimers. Anyone has the right to know what they’re getting themselves into. And with Carly and Sonny anything can happen. The same type of drama and chaos follows although the former Mr. And Mrs. Corinthos are no longer together as a couple. Instead, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) get to fill those places in their lives.
Well, Carly has been through this with Sonny about a million times. But Drew and Nina are on the outside looking in. Except, the outside is pretty darn close to the heart of the mob violence for Drew. Unfortunately, he’s been roped right in, and entangled in this mess even more than Carly and Sonny themselves.
Carly’s Unintentional Eye For An Eye
General Hospital spoilers tease that Drew Cain fights for his life after being attacked in Pentonville. Carly can’t help to feel the weight of guilt for what happened to Drew. In fact, she blames herself for the fact that he’s locked up in Pentonville in the first place. Carly can’t stand there helpless and allow Drew to go through any more of this. Naturally, she doesn’t want to see him this way. Now she is desperate to help Drew even if that means she goes back on her word.
GH rumors hint that Carly sells out Sonny to protect Drew. Just as Sonny chose Nina over Carly upon his Nixon Falls return, Carly chooses Drew in an unintentional, yet quite fitting eye for an eye situation. Remember, the key word here is unintentional. Still, it’s about time Sonny knows how it feels.
It’s undeniable that Selina Wu (Lydia Look) is one intimidating woman. Can you forget the way she slapped Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) across the face? No. Me neither. It’s difficult to say who was more stunned. Cody, his portrayer, Josh, or the fans! Selina and Cody’s business conversation upon a turn when she suddenly hauled off and slapped him!
The Port Charles night life became a little more interesting when Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) illegal poker room took up residence at The Savoy. GH recaps recall that Curtis and Selina made a deal. Against his better judgement, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) allowed Selina to run her illegal poker game room in the back of his nightclub.
Selina Isn’t Happy
Meanwhile, N’neka (Arlondriah Lenyéa) does all she can to keep things running smoothly for bother Curtis and Selina. Selina loves to throw her weight around the club as if she’s the owner. Recently, GH recaps recall that Ms. Wu proposed to purchase The Savoy from Curtis. So I guess one could argue that Selina is no longer satisfied by simply “acting like she owns the place.” Now she wants to actually own the place. Apparently, she isn’t about to listen to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and give up the poker room. She came to him because she thought he’d have her back. And when he didn’t, he struck a cord within her and now Sonny has a new enemy.
According to the latest GH spoilers, Curtis’s lead bartender learns the hard way. Selina doesn’t let people cross her and get away with it. That said, General Hospital spoilers indicate that N’neka needs to watch her back. She called Portia to tell her about Selina and Marshall’s strange encounter. What happens to N’neka next if Selina finds out what she’s done? It’s hard to tell, but what we do know is that Selina isn’t happy with N’neka.
N’neka’s loyalties lie with Curtis, however, Selina may not give N’neka a choice but to carry out her orders. Will N’neka agree to plot against Curtis?
There’s a phrase that I’ve kept close in my head and heart ever since hearing it. The line is written by a singer/songwriter/musician named Dallas Green. “The lonely life of a writer,” is a line from his band, City and Colour. Everything about those five words resonate in a way that non-writers may not normally understand. Evidently, expression through songwriting can be triggering. Just ask Ned. I mean Eddie, er, no, Ned. Man, I don’t know!
Around Port Charles, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) navigates through life as chaos finds her at every turn. From her job at Deception, to her relationship with Harrison Chase, BLQ has been busy. Additionally, she deals with her father’s identity crisis after he woke up as Eddie Maine.
General Hospital spoilers and rumors reveal that Eddie Maine has flashbacks as Ned! Recently, BLQ focuses on her career as a music manager. Amidst the daily drama, Brook Lynn stays true to her passion, music. While BLQ and her dad Ned butted heads about ELQ, she and Eddie work collaboratively as members of the music industry.
GH spoilers tease that Eddie’s songwriting process triggers Ned’s memories. But that’s not all. Since Eddie and BLQ double down to finish his song, she just might be there to witness a quick glimpse of her dad, Ned. According to recent GH rumors, Eddie Maine has flashbacks as Ned while he and Brook Lynn try to finish his song. Will he remember what he wanted to tell Drew before he fell?
I am big on music, especially lyrics. As a writer, it’s second nature for me to listen closely and analyze every line, down to each and every lyric. Because what’s created for, or heard in song has a unique way of guiding us through our journey. Have you ever heard a song or a certain part of it and was instantly brought back to a specific place and time in your mind? Well, music has some powerful attributes, including helping people in a coma find their way to consciousness. So why wouldn’t it trigger memories of another life? That is, if you have an alter ego! ????
Not too long ago, Ava Jerome (Maura West) came to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for help. Luckily for her she happens to be the mother of Sonny’s daughter, Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola). Like all of Sonny’s baby mama’s, he respects and honors their position in his life, regardless of whether or not he’s still with them romantically.
When Sonny agreed to help Ava, that ultimately opened the door to a floodgate of various vulnerabilities. Now he finds himself in the middle of a mob situation. And just like old times, Port Charles mobster Sonny needs Carly (Laura Wright) by his side.
According to GH spoilers, Sonny has a major setback when Cyrus Renault’s plan takes effect. Naturally, Carly agreed to help Sonny, but under one condition. She said that she’d help just so long as harm wouldn’t come Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) way.
Now, Drew’s life hangs in the balance and Carly needs someone to blame. She falls for Cyrus’s trap, hook, line, and sinker. Because now that Carly blames Sonny for Drew’s attack, the strength of their bond weakens Sonny’s chances. Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has Sonny right where he wants him.
