Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini) was hired as Avery Corinthos’s (Ava and Grace Scarola) nanny. That lasted for about 2.3 seconds before Ava told Sonny the deal and he set his trap. Betty was working for Pikeman to help take down Sonny and blackmail Ava Jerome (Maura West). But did we ever stop to think about why Betty was so willing to put herself in the position to be “eliminated” by Sonny Corinthos?
Ava Jerome isn’t winning any popularity contests in Port Charles. Although I bet she’d win when pinned up against Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). That woman has less friends than Regina George after her Burn Book was exposed. Trina is probably Ava’s most loyal supporter in life as Trina has never kidnapped or killed any of Ava’s children. She also never framed her for a murder or stalked her at any time. Despite Trina’s loyalty, I think it’s safe to say that Ava has more enemies than friends.
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Ava’s been framed! They’ve run through the obvious suspects and it looks like Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is already out of the runnings. Still, many GH fans believe that Nikolas Cassadine killed Austin Holt (Roger Howarth), framing Ava for the murder. But, what if it wasn’t Nikolas?
Esme’s Twin Betty Framed Ava
Last year, GH Blog shared a shocking hint to the Esme, Ryan, Heather Webber triangle. It just so happens that it’s not a triangle at all. Instead, it’s a square. According to General Hospital recaps, Heather and Ryan had a discussion in late December of 2022. In that discussion Heather revealed that there was not one but two in a cryptic remark to her once beloved.
GH spoilers and rumors tease that Betty and Esme are twins and that Betty helped take Sonny and Ava down to avenge Ryan and Esme. True, Esme isn’t dead in the physical sense. But like Taylor Swift song, for Esme it’s more like, “I’m sorry, the old Esme can’t come to the phone right now. Why? Oh, ’cause she’s dead!” Betty’s twin as she knew her is long gone and has been replaced with this white picket fence-fantasizing soccer mom. As for Ryan, well he’s as dead as a doornail and Betty isn’t happy about that either. She blames Ava for all of it. So why not frame her for murder?
Adam Wright is a troubled soul who turns to music as a coping mechanism. The high pressure to excel comes directly from his over-controlling parents. With all this talk about Adam’s parents, you’d think there setting us up to meet them. Or at least become familiar with their identities.
According to recent General Hospital spoilers and rumors this is just the beginning of the new kid’s telling tale. From real life pressures, toxic home environments, anxiety, and addiction, mental health is highlighted in this storyline. At first, Adam seemed a little off when he was around Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy). It was almost as though some sort of obsession story was set or begin. Then, it took a turn. The focus shifted from Adam’s fixation with Josslyn to Adam’s personal problems. And that’s when the subject matter turned to his parents.
Who Are Adam Wright’s Parents?
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that we get a close look at Adam’s background, including his home life and the two people who are responsible for his environment. That’s right, GH rumors claim that we are about to learn more about Adam’s mom and dad. GH fans express their speculations across social media platforms, which leads us to our latest GH Poll.
It seems like many want to play, “Who are Adam’s parents?” That said, we’ve conducted a poll with some possible candidates. Who do you think could be Adam’s parents?
Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) share a close relationship with each other and their father. Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) and his sons have grown closer over the years after mending his relationship with Finn. Currently, that’s all water under the bridge.
General Hospital recaps highlight the significance of Gregory’s medical condition. He suffers from ALS and time with his family is precious. The incurable disease robs Gregory of time so it makes sense that he wants to make the most of it.
On a happy note, Gregory’s son Chase recently got engaged to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton)! The sound of wedding bells ring through Port Charles as little Violet hopes that her dad marries Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). Not only does she wish they marry, but she wants a double wedding!
According to recent General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Chase and Brook Lynn plan their wedding alongside Elizabeth and Finn! Will BLQ and Liz become sister-in-laws?! Violet strongly supports a double wedding between her Aunt Elizabeth and her dad, as well as Chase and Brook Lynn! GH rumors hint that Finn and Chase fulfill Gregory’s wish when the I agree to have a double wedding celebration!
It was a night to remember! In the past I’d spend Daytime Emmy night glued to the TV in June. Due to the recent writer’s strike, things got a bit off schedule and the Daytime Emmy Awards were held six month later. Hey, so long as they give credit where credit is due, right?
It was an exciting evening as the cast and crew of General Hospital took home the most wins. Sadly, not all of our faves took home the Emmy, but GH cleaned up pretty nicely. Maurice Benard aka Sonny Corinthos lost out to Thorsten Kaye of The Bold and the Beautiful, and Jacqueline MacIness Wood beat out Finola Hughes in the Lead Acting categories. GH’s Chavez didn’t win. Hat he has last year’s award under his belt.
General Hospital’s Daytime Emmy Wins 2023
And while a few took a loss, General Hospital still took over the night with the most wins. Eden McCoy won Outstanding Younger Performer as Josslyn Jacks, Robert Gossett took home the Outstanding Supporting Actor win, while the late Sonya Eddy won as Epiphany Johnson. Moreover, Alley Mills took the win for Outstanding Guest Performance! Furthermore, GH’s directing team scored the big win as well!
Additionally, the entire cast and crew won the most important award of the night! General Hospital news reports confirm that the 60 year old ABC Soap Opera took home its 15th win for Outstanding Drama Series!
Tonight is the night! You can catch the 50th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards tonight on CBS! The cast of General Hospital is ready to show America just how much they really shine. With 60 years under its belt, ABC’s General Hospital has something to celebrate as the network’s longest entertainment production in history!
Eden McCoy’s Daytime Emmys Look Stuns!
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Eden McCoy’s Emmy night glam! The actress shared photos of herself as she prepares to attend the 50th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony. Take a look at the gallery below and don’t forget… it’s time to watch the 50th Daytime Emmy Awards!
Laura Spencer Collin’s (Genie Francis) is a wife, mother, sister, friend, and the Mayor of Port Charles. That’s a lot to have on one person’s plate. On top of all of that, her family is full of drama.
Let’s start with the obvious drama source, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Since his Port Charles arrival and confession to Laura, he’s been nothing but trouble for the Mother Mayor. I like that. That’s what I’m calling Laura from now on. Mother Mayor. But seriously, Cyrus revealed that he was Laura’s brother and her life hasn’t been the same since.
General Hospital recaps recall that Laura’s worries about Cyrus lead her to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). She questioned him about Cyrus’s potential involvement in Austin Holt’s (Roger Howarth) murder. That’s when Sonny informed her that he doesn’t think Cyrus killed Austin. Laura hates the thought of her brother having killed Dr. Holt. So she’s a bit relieved after Sonny’s insight.
Meanwhile, Cyrus is the least of Laura’s worries. Austin’s real killer isn’t there and GH rumors hint that he’s closer to Laura than her brother Cyrus. Apparently, Nikolas Cassadine frames his ex-wife, Ava Jerome (Maura West) in Dr. Austin Holt’s murder. Recent GH rumors and spoilers hint that Laura learns Nikolas killed Austin! It’s not her brother that’s a killer, it’s her son!
General Hospital is an American Soap Opera that began in 1963. The daytime television drama was created by Frank and Doris Hursley and premiered on April 1st, 1963.
Fast forward six entire decades and GH is still going strong! Today, ABC’s General Hospital has been on the air for OVER 60 years! It is officially the longest running entertainment production in ABC history!
This year, General Hospital celebrate its 60th year on the air! That is not something to take lightly! Soap Operas became a cultural phenomenon but simmered down in the early 2000s. Popularity among the genre declined and there were other factors that contributed to the cancellation of two ABC soaps. In 2011 and 2012, All My Children and One Life to Live for the ax. Thankfully our beloved General Hospital kept the world entertained as the Quartermaine, Corinthos, Spencer, Ashford families, and the rest of Port Charles kept us at the edge of our seats.
General Hospital’s Anniversary Special
According to General Hosptial News and spoilers, a Special Anniversary episode is to air this Winter. GENERAL HOSPITAL: 60 YEARS OF STARS AND STORYTELLING Will hit our screens on Thursday, January 4th, at 10:00PM on ABC. Do NOT miss this celebration of General Hospital as piece of our American Culture!
Sonny takes over General Hospital’s Christmas StoryTradition
I don’t know about you but I think that the perfect way for Sonny to contribute to General Hospital isn’t of monetary value. This contribution is something money can’t, or shouldn’t buy, especially this time of year.
Sonny’s conversation with Stella (Vernee Watson) lit the path for an upcoming storyline. Currently, Port Charles is in the thick of its holiday season. The infamous Quartermaine Thanksgiving has passed and everyone is moving toward Christmas and New Years. General Hospital Christmas episodes are iconic. From miracles to tragedies, GH Christmases are unforgettable. Historically, the one thing we could count on was Steve Hardy and the Christmas story.
Sonny Takes Over General Hospital’s Christmas Story
After many years and Hardy’s passing, Alan Quartermaine (Stuart Damon) took over. Those years were just as magical. Then, after his death, consistency went out the window. However, there still have been many memorable Christmases in Port Charles. One year, Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) read the story!
General Hospital spoilers and rumors hint that there may be a new tradition in town. Sonny’s conversation with Stella started a buzz around social media. Many feel that Sonny Corinthos should take over, and not just this once. Do you think that Sonny should carry on Steve and Alan’s tradition?
Do you have a strong opinion on Sonny playing Santa? Please participate in our GH Poll!
First, I have to start off by saying that this child is a total doll. Scarlett Spears is a six year old American actress from Orlando, Florida. The rising star plays Donna Corinthos on ABC’s General Hospital, and GH fans can’t get enough. She’s so charismatic, and fits the part of Sonny and Carly’s daughter so well. She’s got her looks with that dark hair and eyes from her father, and the quick-witted spunk of her mother. She’s also very observant, and doesn’t let anything get by her- just like Carly.
Ok, now onto the storyline… Let’s hope that Donna holds onto that personality trait as she encounters life one day at a time. As it seems, Donna gets her witt and awareness from her mom, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). While the former Mrs. Corinthos is known for always being on her A game, GH rumors tease that something is off. When it comes to her intuition, Carly’s on point, but not this time.
According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Carly slips up in the worst way. Previously, General Hospital Blog shared recent GH spoilers surrounding Carly, Sonny, Drew, and Mr. Brennan. At this point I think it’s obvious that Carly’s a target. She’s gotten herself into trouble and doesn’t even realize it yet. She’s always so observant so where is her awareness now that it matters most?
GH spoilers and rumors claim that Donna goes missing! Carly puts her trust in Mr. Brennan far too soon and it results in a traumatic event.
Uh oh! If she’s not careful, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) could find herself in a compromising position. And that is meant in more ways than one.
First, the obvious. It’s no secret that Carly’s new friend is Sonny’s enemy. Although the GH audience knows that Carly on the other hand is in the dark. At this point, she’s already compromised herself. Well, to be fair she’s compromised because of who she is. Even as his ex-wife, Carly is still targeted by Sonny’s enemies. And why is that? I believe it’s because Carly remains the most important person to Sonny and everyone knows it.
Secondly, Mr. Brennan (Charles Mesure) is coming on strong. He’s a big flirt to say the least, but what about Carly? She smiles, she twirls her hair, and she zeroes in on one customer when there’s an entire restaurant to serve. Despite the fact that she told him that she’s seeing someone, Carly continues to flirt.
According to General Hospital spoilers, Carly cheats on Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) with none other than Mr. Brennnan, aka Pikeman! Or, at least a representative of Pikeman. Talk about a compromising position. She’s not only in danger because he’s using her. She also ruins her relationship with Drew.
What do you think? Is this how Carly and Drew end?
