General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Confronts An Ungrateful Ava

Carly confronts ungrateful Ava
Carly confronts ungrateful Ava

Out of all of Sonny’s ex-wives and lovers, I’d have to say that Carly [Corinthos] Spencer (Laura Wright) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) have the most grit. In fact, both women have displayed strong personalities with survival skills that are unmatched by most. Unlike Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and some other, weaker woman who have warmed Sonny’s bed- (or a crypt if you’re Ava), Carly and Ava know what it takes to survive in Sonny’s world. But only Carly has the loyalty.

GH recaps recall a pure Sonny and Carly moment when he asked for his ex-wife’s help. Although more cautious than her old self, Carly still agrees to step up for her ex-husband. Apparently, Ava Jerome (Maura West) forgets the sacrifices that it takes to help protect loved ones.

Carly agrees to help Sonny

That said, GH spoilers tease that Ava overlooks Carly’s sacrifice. Despite the fact that Ava ultimately benefits from Carly’s loyalty to Sonny, she had the nerve to give Carly a hard time. Because by agreeing to help Sonny, Carly helps protect his and Ava’s daughter, Avery. There’s no doubt that Carly wouldn’t do what it takes to protect a child. Even if that means not only helping her ex, but also helping one of his ex-lovers.

Apparently, Carly has to give Ava a little reminder about what’s really going on. Carly confronts ungrateful Ava in the most recent General Hospital previews. Take a look!

General Hospital News and Spoilers: Maurice Benard Reveals Upcoming Guest, This Blast From The Past Sends Fans Back To The Golden Era

Maurice Benard reveals upcoming guest

Maybe it’s just me but I find that nostalgia has a way of bringing communities together. Like, when you and a life long friend begin to reminisce about the days of old, and reflect on the good times. In doing so we tend to remember certain people and events that bring a sense of comfort to mind.

For me, the same goes for television and music. Almost all of today’s top 40 pop songs contain music samples from the past. So when you hear this fresh sound with a familiar twist, you kinda feel right at home. Well, that’s how it is for me when my faves from the past return.

I started watching General Hospital in the 1990s like many of you. And I can honestly say that this era seems to have left the most permanent mark on GH fans. That said, do you remember the popular character, Karen Wexler, played by Cari Sheen? She was right there in the middle of heated storylines involving strip clubs, drugs, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

General Hospital 1992 The Island

It was the age of “The Island,” when Karen, Jason Quartermaine (Steve Burton), and Jagger Cates (Antonio Sabato Jr.) got stranded on an island. Moreover, it was the first jig storyline my pre-teen self really got into. And for that I will always remember and be grateful I beg and watching GH when I did.

Maurice Benard Reveals Upcoming Guest

Karen Wexler Sonny Corinthos

At a recent fan event in Royal Oak Michigan, Maurice Benard discussed GH, mental illness, and everything in between. A hot topic was definitely his YouTube channel, State of Mind. He uses the platform to interview past and present co-stars, and anyone who wants to share their story.

General Hospital Spoilers: Ned Who? Olivia Falls For Eddie Maine, Will Ned Ever Return?

Olivia falls for Eddie
Olivia falls for Eddie

Apparently, Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) is quite the charmer! Back in the 1990s he charmed all the ladies, or, groupies as he likes to call his fans. But Eddie Maine hung up his act and Ned Quartermaine (Ashton) went full business mode. ELQ was his passion now. So why did he suddenly turn into Eddie?!

Olivia Quartermaine was beside herself when her husband Ned (Wally Kurth) woke up a new man. Well, new to her because she didn’t know Eddie Maine back in the 1990s. Her husband and his rockstar alter ego couldn’t be more different from the other. Because of this, Olivia felt like she lost her husband for good. But now that Eddie has let his guard down a bit, General Hospital spoilers tease that Olivia falls for Eddie.

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Eddie is here to stay. Now that Olivia is warming up to Eddie, he may have no reason to return as Ned. Tracy seems to be the only one who is dead against Eddie’s existence. Besides, who wants the pressures of ELQ and your mother breathing and barking orders down your back? Certainly not Ned. And ever more certainly, not Eddie Maine.

General Hospital News and Spoilers: CONFIRMED! Rena Sofer Returns To GH

Rena Sofer returns to GH as Lois Cerullo
Rena Sofer returns to GH as Lois

It’s no secret that the 1990s made a comeback in the 2020s. From fashion to music, pieces of a millennial’s golden era made its way back into our culture. Television reboots and movie remakes also drudge up the 90s. In fact, even the soap opera genre wants the nostalgia.

Ned and Lois Eddie Maine and Lois Cerullo wedding

General Hospital news and spoilers confirm that Rena Sofer returns to GH as Lois Cerullo. As Ned’s ex-wife and mother to their daughter, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), Lois has many reasons to return to Port Charles. In addition, her dear friend Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) always has time for Lois. Despite his hectic life with kids, Carly, Nina, and of course his enemies, Sonny is always grateful to see Lois.

According to the latest GH news, Rena Sofer disclosed that she’s already taped her first scenes. Previously, GH Blog shared reports that Sofer’s contract at The Bold and The Beautiful expired in May of last year. And as predicted, she’s headed straight to General Hospital!

According to GH spoilers and rumors, Lois shows up to help deal with Ned/Eddie. However, who says that she thinks Ned should be Ned? Will she help bring Ned back or encourage Eddie to stay true to himself? Besides, GH spoilers tease that Llivia is falling for Eddie… maybe Ned is never coming back!

Look for Rena Sofer’s return debut as Lois hits Port Charles this coming October! Who is ready for her return?

Blair Cramer is Martin’s ex-wife

Instead, you are privy to the know DePaiva’s GH role prior to her arrival. So if you just can’t wait to find out what business OLTL’s Blair Cramer has in Port Charles, then keep on reading!

Previously, General Hospital Blog reported that DePaiva was set to bring Blair to PC. While fans were left unaware of the details, many put the pieces together. Blair’s purpose in PC remains the hot topic as DePaiva’s return debut approaches.

Lucy Coe and Martin Grey GH Spoilers

Let’s just say that Martin should start preparing himself as his ex-wife reveals herself as such. As GH news reports confirm, OLTL’s Blair Cramer is Martin’s ex-wife! Now, poor Lucy deals with her personal life on top of the Deception drama.

General Hospital Spoilers: Like Ir Or Not, Carly is Sonny’s Leading Lady And Always Will Be

Carly’s still Sonny’s choice.
Carly’s still Sonny’s choice.

Divorced or not, the former Mr. and Mrs. Corinthos still know each other like the back of their hands. And the fact that no one understands either of them the way they understand each other tells the story.

The mob life is something Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) chose long ago. Throughout his journey, he’s come in contact with many people. He’s had his fair share of experience with outsmarting and fighting enemies, and protecting his family.

GH spoilers Sonny and Carly get back together

Moreover, Sonny always had a strong woman to lean on. Who am I kidding? Carly wasn’t just a good, strong woman to lean on. Actually, she was his rock. Carly knew better than to give him problems, although she ultimately gave him problems lol. But the way Carly went about things when it comes to Sonny’s business reassured him of her full support. As a mobster’s wife, you have to be prepared for anything. And that, Carly was.

Carly’s Still Sonny’s Choice

Meanwhile, Sonny and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) play this little game of pretend. It’s the one where they both know that Nina isn’t the right fit for Sonny, yet neither can admit it. But deep down Sonny knows who his perfect match is. Furthermore, he knows he can turn to Carly for anything, at any time. And that’s exactly what he did. Sonny needs Carly’s help and she’s willing to give it. Where does that leave Nina? On the outside looking in.

General Hospital Spoilers: Chase Digs Deeper Into Sonny’s Case- Feds Come On Stronger Than Ever Before

Chase and Dante investigate Sonny
Chase and Dante investigate Sonny

Nina Reeves only thinks she can handle Sonny’s life because she’s never really been out through it. Unlike Carly, Nina’s recent scare was just that. A scare. In fact, it wasn’t even real because Sonny set up the Feds.

Mac receives evidence against Sonny

As golden as his plan was, the PCPD found holes in the story. Things just don’t add up in terms of the Feds and the bogus charges. According to GH spoilers, Detective Chase (Josh Swickard) is on the case. After his and Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) conversation, they realized that there’s more to the story.

Chase and Dante Investigate Sonny

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Chase heads up this side investigation. Sonny’s son Dante agrees that something’s off, but will he agree to keep digging? Obviously, Dante supports his father and that was made crystal clear throughout these last couple of episodes. So how will he handle it if he and Chase stumble upon some incriminating evidence?

If Chase and Dante go poking around and find something, what will they do? Will Dante withhold evidence against his father? Cop or not, his loyalties lie in his father, not the PCPD. Do you think Sonny Corinthos is untouchable?

General Hospital Spoilers: Diane’s Advice Goes Beyond Professional- How Will Sonny Take It?

Diane advises against marrying Nina
Diane advises against marrying Nina

Sonny Corinthos, Diane Miller, Nina Reeves

In January of 2007, Diane Miller (Carolyn Henessy) was hired as Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) lawyer. It wasn’t long before two became friends. Despite his criminal tendencies, Diane can see Sonny’s warm heart and family values.

Over the years, Sonny and his trusted attorney grew close. Not the kind of closeness he and his former attorney Alexis Davis had going on, but close in a family-friend sense. Apparently, close enough to where Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) feels confident enough in her’s and Sonny’s relationship to blur the lines between professional and personal.

Sonny Corinthos and Diane Miller GH spoilers

According to recent GH spoilers and rumors, Diane advises against marrying Nina. She sees what most everyone else sees, and won’t stay silent. Its obvious to most that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) isn’t cut out for Sonny’s life. In fact, there are times when even Nina herself knows darn well she doesn’t have what it takes. And that’s why she has come running to Carly (Corinthos) Spencer more than once.

How will Sonny take Diane’s advice about Nina? Will he see what she throws down in front of him? Or, will he continue to walk with the wool pulled over his eyes?

General Hospital Spoilers: Sasha’s Safe With Cody, A Disturbed Gladys Has Nowhere To Turn, Sasha Rejects Gladys

Sasha’s safe with Cody

Sasha’s safe with Cody. …Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is definitely the hero in this story! Yes, of course, he’s the one who physically busted into Ferncliff (with Sam’s help). But Cody’s heroism stems from his faith in Sasha. Since the beginning, he never doubted her. In fact, he was the one to address the strange situation in the first place. He knew that Sasha was stronger and she didn’t start using again. That alone is heroism.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Sasha is safe with Cody. She trusts that he has her best interest in heart and mind although she’s physically safe at the moment Sasha is distraught over all that she’s lost. In recent GH previews, Sasha’s emotionally vulnerable to Cody and admits that she feels all alone. Gladys Corbin was all Sasha had left (in her mind), and she’s overcome with grief yet again. However, Cody makes it very clear that she has him. Additionally, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will always have her back.

Ultimately, Sasha knows now that she can’t trust Gladys. Regardless of how she tried to talk her way or if this, Sasha rejects Gladys. That said, GH rumors tease that Gladys is headed out of Port Charles. Has she finally overstayed her welcome and got the hint about it?
