Agent John Jagger Cates (Adam Harrington) popped back into Port Charles out of the clear blue sky. One minute John “Brennan” was sniffing around Bobbie’s (formerly known as Kelly’s), then the next he whipped out his FBI badge and began flashing is all over PC.

Previously, General Hospital news reports confirmed that Adam Harrington joined GH’s cast as a past character. He took over the role as Jagger from Antonio Sabato Jr. The change caused a stir among General Hospital fans, and they took their concerns to social media.

Does Agent Cates Have a Vendetta Against Jason?

So, why did General Hospital decide to bring back Jagger, aka, Agent John Cates? According to recent GH spoilers and rumors, Jagger is the string that ties some PC people together. Some find it interesting that Jagger returned around the same time as Jason, also while Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) is in question. When he first arrived in Port Charles, Dex’s family background was a mystery. Then, he revealed that he didn’t get along with his brothers, and his home life was pretty rocky. That’s when rumors really began to take flight. Suddenly, GH rumors claimed that Dex was adopted. And his biological parents are none other than Jason Morgan (Quartermaine) and Karen Wexler.

What do you think? John is displaying red flags when it comes to Jason. Agent Cates’s personal vendetta against Jason Morgan could very well be because of Karen… and Dex!

On December 18th, 2020, Sonny and Carly’s relationship changed forever. That’s when he and Julian fell off a bridge. Although Julian Jerome was confirmed dead, Sonny Corinthos’s body was never found. He was presumed dead and his family had to go on without him.

According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Sonny and Carly’s failing external relationships aren’t direct indicators for a CarSon reunion. Despite the fact that Sonny filed for divorce and Drew is breaking up with Carly, the mobster and the former hotel owner may not make their way back to each other just yet.

Sonny and Ava’s bond has grown stronger over the last few months. Like two peas in a pod, Ava Jerome and Sonny Corinthos have mobster blood running through their veins. Sonny is under a lot of pressure and there’s little hope for his marriage to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Furthermore, Jason Morgan’s return has driven a wedge between Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Carly’s feelings for Jason are so immense that she can’t even describe them with words. Sadly, Drew came to a realization that Carly will never love him as much as she loves Jason. Not even as much as she loves Sonny. So, where does that leave any hope for a CarSon reunion?

Laura Wright is no rookie. In fact, she’s been in the buzz for quite some time. The Emmy winning actress started off on a Soap Opera called Loving in 1991. Today, Laura’s been in the game for 30 years, and counting.

General Hospital star Laura Wright joined the legendary cast in 2005. She had big shoes to fill, and sometimes GH fans tend to express their opinions with vehemence. It’s not easy for recasts as they have to live up to a certain standard. According to past GH comings and goings news, Wright was the fourth actress to take on the role of Carly Corinthos.

First, Sarah Joy Brown originated the role and it was unimaginable to think of anyone else playing Carly. Then, Tamara Braun came along and GH fans were captivated by her raw emotions while portraying Carly. Sadly, Braun left General Hospital as well. Finally, Jennifer Bransford briefly stepped into the role before Wright took over in ‘05.

Reportedly, Laura has played Carly for nearly 19 of her 30 plus years in daytime television. Furthermore, shes worked alongside Mathison for about two years, according to recent GH news reports, Laura Wright reveals that Carly and Drew’s breakup scenes are her favorite scenes between herself and Mathison. Wright tells Soap Opera Digest, “I think they are the best scenes I’ve ever had with Cameron, ” Laura Wright confessed. “It’s some of the best work I’ve ever seen him do. He was so beautiful and raw.”
