General Hospital recaps recall when Sam reached out to Maxie. She noticed her friend’s struggles and offered a solution. At first, Maxie wasn’t too sure that moving into Lulu’s old house would be the best idea. But then, Sam pointed out some important facts. She reassured Maxie that if anyone was going to occupy Dante and Lulu’s family home, Maxie is favored option. The fact that Maxie and Lulu are besties makes it more comforting than uncomfortable.

Dex replaces Jason with Sonny?! Sonny Corinthos is so many things to so many people. His loyalty extends to those who equally practice and display the same loyalty. If you’re in a position to mean something to Sonny and vice versa, then consider yourself lucky.

Evidently, Sonny makes such an impression that even some of his enemies end up as friends and more. One enemy in particular is Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). The junior gangster was born for this position, quite literally. When Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) found Dex, they were both sure they would bring Sonny down. Hence, Dex was once Sonny’s secret enemy. But despite his initial intentions, Dex spills his true feelings.

General Hospital recaps revisit Dex’s confession as he tells Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) what a Sonny now means to him. He explained, “I’ve never had anyone in my life like him. For some reason this mental institution is the go-to place for twisted individuals to manipulate and torture the vulnerable. Take it from Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and Dr. Montague (Darin Toonder), it’s really an ideal place to keep someone captive and under control.

There’s no doubt that things will go awry with Esme sooner or later. Surely, she can’t be Miss perfect for too long. As for Portia, she outwardly expresses her dislike for Trina’s boyfriend, but she’s pretty sneaky about her relationship sabotage.

First, we have Esme. She is the OG home wrecker who came between Spencer and a Trina. When she arrived in Port Charles, Trina had no idea that Spencer had a girlfriend. In fact, he led Trina to believe that there was something between them, but the whole time he had a boarding school girlfriend. Second, there’s Portia, Trina‘s mother. That’s when I realize that if there is anyone to blame for all of this, we can all point the finger at “The Good Son,” Michael.

Things become clear when Cyrus reacts to Sonny’s arrest.

Ever since Drew arrived in Pentonville, Cyrus has tried to get him to join his fellowship group. He preaches the good word and swears he’s now a righteous man. However, something’s obviously off about his belief system, and it shows. At any given moment Cyrus can go from a bully-blasting defender or a grateful victim, to an instigator, the perpetrator, and well, the problem. Despite his proclamation, Cyrus still shows signs of his unhinged, deceitful and deadly behavior as before.
