Van Hansis plays new Lucas Jones …New faces aren’t uncommon in daytime television, but they still come as a shock every time. This time, GH fans weren’t expecting any new faces other than the highly anticipated Lulu reveal.
Unexpectedly, another one of Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) family members popped up with a new face. According to General Hospital comings and goings, Lulu Spencer has been recast. Emme Rylan will no longer play Luke and Laura’s daughter. Instead, All My Children actress Alexa Havins has taken over the role.
General Hospital news and spoilers confirm that Lucas Jones has been recast. Yes, Carly’s (Wright) cousin Lulu (Havins), and her brother Lucas (Hansis) have new faces. Previously, Ryan Carnes filled Lucas’s shoes. But this week Van Hansis debuted in the role.
Despite the new look, Hansis isn’t new to daytime television. In fact, the 43 year old actor played Luke Snyder on CBS’s As The World Turns. His time as Luke Snyder ended with ATWT’s final episode in 2010.
General Hospital news and spoilers confirm that Van Hansis has joined the GH cast and seems to have made himself right at home. Check out Van Hansis and Kelly Monaco getting cozy on set.
Kin Shriner Calls Out GH In the wake of Kelly Monaco’s recent bombshell, long-running General Hospital star Kin Shriner weighs in on the general topic. Many believe that the long-running actors on General Hospital are not given the proper respect or treatment they deserve. Instead, these iconic actors and their characters have been thrown out like yesterday’s news. But what they don’t realize is that today’s stories are built on yesterday’s news.
Previously, General Hospital Blog shared Kelly Monaco’s statement about her imminent GH exit. Reportedly, Monaco dropped a bombshell about how she was treated after Billy Miller’s firing. The fan-favorite actress admitted that she spent decades building Sam McCall’s characteristics just to have them stripped and dismantled since 2019.
Kin Shriner – Calls Out General Hospital
Recently, General Hospital star Kin Shriner posted to the social media platform X to express his opinion on current events. In the wake of Kelly Monaco’s controversial statement, Kin’s post came in at the perfect time. There’s no doubt that Monaco and Shriner are both long-running actors/characters. So, it makes sense that his social media activity potentially supports Monaco’s statements.
GH spoilers tease there is more real life drama behind the scenes at General Hospital.
When I came on @GeneralHospital in 1977 the actors that were there and kept the show on the airfor 14 years I held in the highest esteem. Now the long running characters have no respect…. but times have change !
Metallosis. That’s the name of the disease that Heather Webber acquired as result of a past hip replacement. Apparently, cobalt poisoning is the reason that Heather Webber is a murdering psychopath. She recently received devastating news, and now Heather Webber fights for her freedom.
General Hospital spoilers tease that Heather’s condition may not give her a get of jail free card after all. Instead, recent results show that Heather’s body still contains a high level of cobalt. Because of this Heather is still responsible for the murders and crimes that cost so many lives.
Heather Webber Fights For Her Freedom
General Hospital previews show Heather’s latest struggle as the door closed on her freedom. Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) broke the news about her test results, and they both agreed that something isn’t quite right. According to General Hospital spoilers and previews, Heather won’t rest until she gets to the bottom of the unexpected results.
Portia Robinson Examines Heather Webber
Was foul play involved? GH rumors hint that Heather stews about the situation and then takes action. Meanwhile, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is a happy camper about Heather’s imminent and likely indefinite life behind bars. Could Portia have tampered with Heather’s bloodwork to work in her own favor?
Sad news has hit the daytime television community as General Hospital star has passed away. Reportedly, American television actor and General Hospital star Ron Hale dies at age 78.
According to General Hospital news, Ron Hale joined GH’s iconic cast in 1995. Before he played a mobster’s father, Ron Hale was known for his work on Ryan’s Hope from 1975-1989. Then, Hale joined General Hospital as Mike Corbin, and remained in the role until 2010. He retired in 2011, shortly after his GH exit.
According to the latest GH news reports, Hale passed away on August 27th, 2024. He was survived by his nieces and nephews. Lori Brown (Janet Brabham), Max Brabham, Erin Wilson (Laurens) and Marc Brown (Betsy) mourn their uncle’s loss.
Rob Hale received two Daytime Emmy Awards for his role as Dr. Roger Coleridge on Ryan’s Hope. But his time on General Hospital as Sonny Corinthos’s father, Mike Corbin, remains the longest in his acting career.
General Hospital Blog keeps Ron Hale, his family, and the rest of his loved ones in our prayers. Memories of his time as Mike Corbin are some of my first GH memories when I began watching in the early 90s. May Ron Rest In Peace.
Currently, controversy surrounds the latest General Hospital casting news. There’s no denying that Kelly Monaco’s sudden GH exit sent shockwaves across the entertainment industry, especially Daytime Television.
General Hospital news reports confirm that Kelly Monaco has taped her final scenes as the iconic Samantha McCall. Earlier this week her mom, Carmina Monaco, took to Instagram to express her gratitude for the fans. Carmina’s heartfelt message was nothing short of a top tier class act.
Despite the confusion, and GH rumors that surround Monaco’s General Hospital exit, details behind the decision remained unclear. Until now, GH rumors claimed multiple different scenarios as reasons why Kelly Monaco is leaving General Hospital. From paycut rumors to having been fired, also having quit the daytime drama after 21 years, GH fans haven’t been able to get a good grip on what’s actually going on with Kelly and ABC’s General Hospital.
The Truth Behind Kelly Monaco’s Controversial Exit
Kelly Monaco Drops Truth Bomb- Details Behind Kelly Monaco’s Controversial GH Exit
According to recent GH news updates, Kelly Monaco broke her silence when she replied to comments on the social medial platform X. When replying to a GH fan, Monaco see the record straight. Well, at least it was a start. The actress didn’t hold back as she defended herself and the character she worked so hard to build over her time on General Hospital. Reportedly, Monaco dropped a bombshell, shedding light on the situation. Kelly Monaco’s shocking statement explains the breakdown of her believed role as Samantha McCall. Her character was also known as Samantha Morgan, Sam, Fair Samantha, The Goddess, among other nicknames and aliases.
General Hospital BREAKING news reveals Kelly Monaco’s raw and uncensored comment that has caused quite a reaction throughout the GH fan base. She tells one commenter to “do your homework,” when it comes to the facts about her GH exit.
“No primary role’… do your homework. When Billy Miller was fired, Sam’s storyline stopped. Stripping Sam of every characteristic she had. Something I worked for decades to build…. Slowly dismantling her, into a character that I did not recognize, let alone the audience. Call it what you will… retaliation at it|s] finest. I will give a proper statement. The truth will set you free.”
General Hospital’s Michael E. Knight and Nancy Lee Grahn share more upcoming scenes! …Port Charles is stocked with capable attorneys. After all, crime runs rampant around these streets, and the people of Port Charles want justice.
According to the latest General Hospital comings and goings Michael E. Knight has returned to the GH canvas. Upon his return, Port Charles has regained one of the city’s newer-to-town lawyers.
General Hospital spoilers indicate that Alexis is stuck behind bars unless drastic measures are taken. She’s already outed Kristina (Kate Mansi) to her lawyer Martin Gray. Now it’s only a matter of time before the PC PD go after Sonny and Alexis‘s daughter.
General Hospital news and spoilers indicate that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) have their work cut out for them. Reportedly, the attorney, and the attorney defending her need time to work around implicating Kristina. these two spend an increasing amount of time together. As agent murder case unfolds.
GH’s Michael E. Knight and Nancy Lee Grahn
Meanwhile, off the set, GH news news reports reveal that Michael E. Knight speaks out on his co-star Nancy Lee Grahn. GH spoilers reveal that night had something to say about grand as they share more screen time as Alexis and Martin. Evidently, Knight got candid in an interview and revealed that he has a crush on Nancy. He told Soap Opera Digest, “I’ve got a crush on Nancy.” Then, the former AMC alum (Tad Martin) continued to rave about Nancy. “Nancy is wonderful! I mean, how lucky am I? Nancy has forgotten more about doing daytime than most people will ever know. I love her. She’s phenomenal. She’s one of those people where it literally doesn’t matter what the scene [is about] — she’s like playing handball against the wall; it doesn’t matter what you hit, it’s going to come back to you.”
Do any General Hospital fans hope that Natalia and Sonny Have A Future? …If it were up to Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) she and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) would have already hit the sheets. Well, at least that’s my take on her discernible flirting with the Port Charles mobster. An audience perspective can see through her inner desires. Evidently, her laugh, body language, and now even the words she says to Sonny allude to Natalia’s romantic desires.
General Hospital previews indicate that Natalia remains hopeful for what’s ahead. It’s possible that Blaze’s mom has on rose colored glasses when it comes to Sonny. Apparently, she hasn’t the slightest clue that he murdered Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington). For the time being, Cates’s actual murderer walks free.
Meanwhile, Kristina’s (Kate Mansi) mother Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is locked up on murder charges. Surely, Alexis has been wrongfully indicted. As much as I hate to say it, Sonny Corinthos is the one who belongs behind bars.
Do Natalia and Sonny Have A Future?
Unless Sonny and Carly pull off their alibi- Sonny Corinthos is going to spend the rest of his life in Federal Prison. And if the once Mr. and Mrs. Corinthos can fake it until they make it… then what room is there for Natalia? That’s right, none.
Nancy Lee Grahn Comes For Antonio Sabato Jr. …Whenever I take a moment and become reminiscent of the 90s, I think, “what a time to be alive!” Especially when it comes to the iconic storylines that shaped the people of Port Charles. Off-set, Nancy Lee Grahn Comes For Antonio Sabato Jr.
In 1992, Antonio Sabato Jr. joined General Hospital’s iconic cast. He portrayed John “Jagger” Cates from 1992-1995. His time in the daytime drama may have been short, but Sabato’s presence remains unforgettable. Then, Nancy Lee Grahn’s acting experiences as Beverly Wilkes (ABC’s OLTL), and Julia Wainwright (NBC’s Santa Barbara) helped lead Grahn to land the role of Alexis Davis.
In September of 1996, Grahn began her time on General Hospital as Attorney Alexis Davis. Working for the mob, Alexis had a prominent role in Port Charles alongside her client, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Although Jagger and Alexis had very bliss ties to Sonny, the two never crossed paths in the 90s. And despite never having worked together, Nancy drew attention to the possibility that she was given Sabato‘s old dressing room.
According to General Hospital news reports, Grahn’s recent posts reveal the latest GH drama. Off-set, GH’s Alexis Davis and former General Hospital star are at odds. Antonio Sabato Jr.’s character, Jagger (Adam Harrington), was recently killed off the show. But Sabato hasn’t played the role since 1995. Last week, Grahn shared an IG photo referencing the former Jagger’s old dressing room.
Check out the latest off-screen General Hospital drama!
Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) finds herself sharing food from Bobbie’s with GH’s newest patient. Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) was brought in after a hit and run left him for dead. Thankfully, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) stumbled upon Gannon out on Lookout Point. He was at the right place at the right time, and essentially saved his life. Just like a guardian angel.
Meanwhile, Port Charles’s Deputy Mayor works overtime to make Dr. Gannon comfortable. GH recaps recall that Jordan took a special interest in Dr. Gannon’s recovery. First and foremost, she’s a professional and needs to gather information on Lucky Spencer. But then things got cozy between Jordan and Isaiah when she brought a carryout from Bobbie’s. Amidst the danger and drama, they bonded over from fries.
Moreover, the insightful doctor had some information for Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) that could help bring Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) home to save his sister Lulu (Alexa Havins. So far lucky is Lulu’s best chance st survival. However, GH rumors hint toward a Lucky’s rocky road back home. So what if Lucky doesn’t make it back to Port Charles in time to save Lulu?
Isaiah Gannon saves Lulu’s Life
According to recent General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Lucky’s BFF Dr. Gannon is still a target. Like Jordan mentioned, someone wants Isaiah dead. GH fans might object to this potential storyline since it seems like Jordan and Dr. Gannon are really hitting it off. Many want to see Jordan happy with a man who deserves her. Will she and Isaiah even get the chance?
Antonio Sabato Jr. Films 426 Movie In My Hometown! …ABC’s General Hospital may have just killed off his iconic GH character, but Antonio Sabato Jr. is alive and well, and filming a movie!
Last year, General Hospital brought back an iconic character. The decision shocked GH fans when the role of Jagger Cates was recast. Antonio Sabato Jr. was no longer the face of one of the most famous Daytime Television characters in the 1990s. Instead, actor Adam Harrington took over the role.
Recently, General Hospital news reports confirmed that GH has killed off Agent John Jagger Cates. This was another decision that threw GH fans for a loop. Sadly, the character was brought back but had zero redeeming qualities, and now he’s dead. Unfortunately, the legendary 1990s icon is officially over. While Sabato Jr.’s face became most GH fan’s reason to tune in, he wasn’t the one in the role at the time of the character’s death.
Most recently, Sabato revealed that his acting career is alive and well despite Jagger’s untimely death. Long time enemy Sonny Corinthos shot him in cold blood. General Hospital may have closed the door on Jagger, but Sabato’s is currently filming a new movie. In fact, the TV/movie star and model relocated for a new role. General Hospital news and spoilers report that the original Jagger Cates is filming a Christian based movie in my hometown of Washington Twp., Michigan.
