General Hospital: Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) Sits Vigil At Michael’s Bedside
Michael Calls For Sasha! An explosion in Sonny’s Penthouse almost claimed his son’s life. At this point, Michael’s family doesn’t know if he will live or die. As Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) fights to stay alive, his mom and dad are right there beside him. His wife Willow Corinthos (Chad Duell) has been there around the clock despite their troubled marital status.
Currently, 3/4 of Michael’s body is covered in third degree burns, and he suffers from severe pain. According to General Hospital recaps, he’s been in and out of consciousness, but Michael’s medical team keeps him sedated due to the immense pain.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Michael is brought out of sedation so that he can choose his own treatment plan. Carly disagrees with Portia and Willow about the appropriate next steps toward Michael’s healing. So they all agreed that Michael should decide for himself.
General Hospital: Sonny, Carly, and Willow discuss Michael’s treatment plan
The latest General Hospital previews indicate that Carly awaits as the drugs slowly wear off and Michael regains consciousness. Sadly, he will undoubtedly experience excruciating pain so their mission is to be quick. Michael’s parents and wife need to know how he wishes to proceed, and Carly was chosen to be the one to receive and pass along his decision. Will it be John Hopkins or Germany?
Michael Calls Out For Sasha
Carly listens closely as she tries to decipher Michael’s words
Aside from choosing the best treatment, Michael has something else to get off of his chest. General Hospital previews indicate that Michael struggles to mutter the words, but he pushes himself in order to say what he needs to say. Despite Carly, Sonny, and Willow’s presence, GH spoilers reveal that there is someone else Michael needs.
Reportedly, Carly listens closely as she tries to make out her son’s despairing words. Amidst the pain, fear, and uncertainty, Michael calls out for Sasha. Will Carly learn about Sasha’s pregnancy?
Cameron Mathison Describes Shattering Loss and the emotional impact of the raging California fires. The devastation of the California fires has claimed at least 27 lives. In addition, at least 12,000 homes, businesses, structures, and sheds have burned in this tragedy.
Reportedly, General Hospital star Cameron Mathison lost his family home in the outrageous L.A. fires. The Hallmark Channel favorite and daytime television icon shared his great loss via social media. Mathison was in tears as he describes what’s left of his home of 13 years. On January 9th, Cameron Mathison shared his story in an interview with Good Morning America. He shared details of his horrific experience as he describes everything he’s lost.
GH’s Cameron Mathison Describes Shattering Loss
“I’ve been up all night. I can’t sleep. I’ve lost my home and everything that I own.” General Hospital’s Cameron Mathison went on to specify just what he has left. “I have this hoodie and a pair of pants and two pairs of sneakers left, that’s it. It’s important to focus on the things that we have and can be grateful for. There’s a lot of that, but at the same time, unless you’ve gone through it, it’s hard to get your head out of that. You’re just stuck thinking and reeling.”
According to General Hospital news, Mathison’s heartbreaking message pushes positivity. He explains that it’s true that you don’t exactly know how it feels unless it happens to you. Some experiences in life will never feel the same as a secondhand experience no matter how much we can empathize. Furthermore, people grieve differently in hard times.
California Fires Claim General Hospital Star Cameron Mathison’s Home
Mathison spoke out on his loss and the potentially various levels of devastation it caused each victim. Evidently, some social media comments could be construed as insensitive. Gracefully, Mathison explained the flood of emotions he’s experienced since the tragedy. For Mathison and his family, their loss holds 13 years of family memories in his Altadena home. Of course, lives are most important. However, the pain of losing everything you own and your safe space, deserves validation.
Please continue to pray for Cameron and all those who’ve lost loved one, homes, and all that’s been lost to this unthinkable tragedy.
Lois knows about Gio and Brooke Lynn?! Last week,Brook Lynn Quartermaine dropped a bombshell when she referenced her first pregnancy. Her mom Lois was there for her in her time of need. As a teenager, Brook Lynn got pregnant and gave up her baby after giving birth. Now, she worries that her past is the reason she and Chase are struggling to get pregnant.
What Happens In Bensonhurst Stays In Bensonhurst
According to General Hospital rumors, the look on Lois Cerullo’s (Rena Sofer) face says it all. Recently, GH fans learned that Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) has been pregnant before (for real this time). All of the talk with Chase about having their first child has BLQ reflecting on her Bensonhurst days. She was young and unprepared at the time she became pregnant, but thankfully she had her mother’s full support when she gave her baby up for adoption. But how much does Lois actually know about her daughter’s pregnancy and the birth of her grandchild?
General Hospital spoilers indicate that there’s another element to Brook Lynn’s secret. Adorable Gio Palmieri (Gio Mazza) dazzled his cousin’s wedding guests with his exquisite violin playing. Gio seemed to know a decent amount about the Bensonhurst and Port Charles friends and family connections. And when he came to Port Charles, he fit like a perfect puzzle piece when he moved into the Quartermaine mansion. It was almost like he was the missing piece that no one knew was absent. Currently, Gio is soaking up all the Quartermaine drama. But General Hospital rumors claim that he hasn’t seen anything yet.
Lois Knows About Gio And Brook Lynn
Meanwhile, “cousin” Brook Lynn and her husband Chase (Josh Swickard) are trying for a baby. A baby that Chase believes will be both his and Brook Lynn’s first. We all know that’s not the case. Evidently, BLQ gave up a child when she lived in Bensonhurst, and Lois knows all about it. And we mean ALL about it.
Apparently, not only did Brook Lynn secretly give up a baby for adoption, but that baby is said to be Gio! But wait, there’s more! General Hospital spoilers and rumors hint that Lois knows the truth about Gio. She was Brook Lynn’a number one supporter in her time of need. Lois is fully aware that her daughter got pregnant and gave up her baby. But does she also know who that baby is?
GH rumors tease that Lois has known that her grandson has been right under their noses for his entire life. Sadly, Gio’s parents were said to have died. His father Francis Palmieri passed away before he was born, then, he lost his mother Camilla when he was just ten years old. Meanwhile, Brooklyn and Chase continue their journey to parenthood. At this point, the story is hazy. There aren’t quite enough details to make sense of it all. However, GH rumors suggest that upcoming circumstances lead to life altering revelations.
Nina Confesses To Willow?! Well, what do you know? Nina Reeves was spitting facts! Despite the fact that her voice emits a perpetual screeching sound, I actually stuck around to hear what she had to say to Drew. As it turns out, this is the first time (in my opinion) that Nina has spoken true facts.
Congratulations Nina Reeves! You are no longer the most cringe person in Port Charles. It’s true, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has taken the leader spot for that title. However, spots two and three are debatable.
Nina Wants Drew To Stay Away
For many, Nina has been the number one cringiest character on the show for at least 2 to 3 years. But then Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) came along and shook things up a bit. At first he was normal, but now he’s become intolerable. Even with the role having been recast, Drew never went through a personality change quite like this. Almost suddenly, he went from a stand-up honorable guy to a slimy, sleazy, egotistical narcissist. So, Drew slides on up to the number one spot leaving Willow and Nina to fight for second and third. At this point, Willow could bypass Nina. Especially since General Hospital rumors hint that Nina speaks the honest truth, and gains brownie points from GH fans.
Drew Hears The Ugly Truth
Finally, Nina did what all of us have wanted to do for a long time. She told Drew exactly how it is. Nina dropped a truth bomb on Drew, and I never thought I would hear Nina speak the truth. But I guess there’s a first time for everything. Now here we are. Clearly, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) has made some poor choices all on her own. But let’s be honest, would any of this be happening if it wasn’t for the way Drew keeps coming onto Willow? Most likely no.
Nina Confesses To Willow about Drew
According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Nina is the voice of reason. Although Nina is the one who first coerced Willow into leaving the gatehouse with the kids, she sees that Willow should’ve played things much differently. Instead, Willow listened to Drew.
Notably, Nina has a long history of playing the victim and making everything everyone else’s fault. More significantly, she has a track record of deliberately acting in a way that hurts Carly (Corinthos) Spencer (Laura Wright). That’s not what she did this time.
General Hospital Recaps: To my surprise, that screeching voice projected insightful words. Of course, the truth falls on deaf ears as Nina tells Drew that he’s full of himself, and that he is the reason Willow‘s life is in shambles. She even mentioned that Willow would’ve acted in good faith. But instead, Drew’s influence got the best of her. Now, Willow got herself in a worse position with Carly and Sonny.
Will Nina solve Willow’s Drew problem? Or has she been sucked in like she was by Dawn Of Day?
It’s Monica’s house! Alan gave it to her! It is with great sadness that General Hospital Blog shares unfortunate news. Reports confirm the passing of a television icon and beloved General Hospital star, Leslie Charleson.
Now, we reminisce on unforgettable memories throughout the years. My favorites include. Monica and Tracy’s rivalry, Monica’s favoritism for Jason aka Golden Boy, and Thanksgiving pizza, and much more.
Undoubtedly, the Daytime TV world and soap opera community endures another loss among the GH cast. General Hospital news reports confirm that General Hospital legend, Leslie Charleson has died. Sadly, General Hospital cast and crew has lost one of their nearest and dearest, and the General Hospital fandom also mourns this great loss a well.
General Hospital’s Leslie Charleson Has Died
Charleson’s General Hospital journey began in 1977 when she joint the cast as the iconic Monica Quartermaine. Reportedly, Charles played Monica in over 2,000 episodes throughout the years. She appeared on air as recent as December of 2023, and the people of Port Charles mention her from time to time.
According to the latest GH news, Frank Valentini shared his sentiments on behalf of ABC’ General Hospital. GH’s Executive Producer shares the news via Instagram, leaving a heartfelt message. “It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of my dear friend and colleague, Leslie Charleson. Her enduring legacy has spanned nearly 50 years on General Hospital alone and, just as Monica was the heart of the Quartermaines, Leslie was a beloved matriarch of the entire cast and crew. I will miss our daily chats, her quick wit and incredible presence on set. On behalf of everyone at General Hospital, my heartfelt sympathy goes out to her loved ones during this difficult time.” -Frank Valentini
Stuart Damon (Alan Quartermaine) and Leslie Charleson (Monica Quartermaine)
According to online resources, a number of falls contributed to Leslie Charleson’s developed lack of mobility. It was just a week ago when Charles took another fall and was hospitalized. One week later, she passed away. Leslie Charleson was 79 years old.
Leslie’s role as Chief of Staff, Jason and AJ’s mama, Alan’s wife, Tracy’s rival, and so much more will live on in General Hospital’s future. There’s much more story to be told from the Quartermaine mansion, where the family can honor the woman who held them all together.
General Hospital Blog shares love, prayers, and condolences to Leslie’s family, loved ones, and supporters. May she rest in peace, and may her life be celebrated by all who knew her.m
Jason Honors Michael’s Wishes! You know it’s bad for your loved one when you wince in pain from flashbacks of the good old days. Undeniably, *memories feel like weapons (*Taylor Swift) when the good ones stab you in the heart.
General Hospital recaps recall the visible pain in Jason’s (Steve Burton) eyes as flashbacks took him back to when Michael (Chad Duell) was born. Meanwhile, Michael lay in a hospital bed, fighting for his life. Despite the pain and trauma Michael felt Jason’s presence and tried to mutter a few words.
Evidently, Michael has something to say before it’s too late. GH recaps recall that Dr. Lucas Jones (Van Hasis) confirmed that Michael has 3rd degree burns on over 40% of his body. Sadly, Lucas also admitted that he’s not sure whether or not Michael will survive. According to the latest General Hospital spoilers, Michael wakes up to find Jason at his bedside. Suffering, severe injuries, pain, and in critical condition Michael realizes the reality of his situation.
Jason Honors Michael’s Wishes
General Hospital spoilers and rumors hint that Michael makes a personal request to Jason. Michael asks Jason to watch over Sasha and their baby. Carly’s son has another child on the way! Although Maxie knows that Sasha is pregnant, Sasha and Michael remain the only two who know that he is the father. General Hospital rumors tease that someone else learns of the baby’s paternity.
Reportedly, GH previews hint that Michael tells Jason about the baby. Most importantly, Michael asks Jason to watch over Sasha and their baby God forbid he dies or is incapacitated.
Will Michael die or slip into a coma? Maybe Michael must be sent to an offsite per unit to ensure optimal healing. According to General Hospital, casting news, there is no recast planned for the role of Michael Corinthos. However, executive producer Frank Valentini hinted that things could change in the future.
Michael Corinthos Up In Flames, Willow Burned by Nina and Drew
Willow’s Burned by Nina and Drew! Finally, Little Miss (Former) Goodie-Two-Shoes-Weeping-Willow is about to take some heat. Willow Corinthos is seemingly always the victim in various situations. Up until now, many GH fans found validity in her victim-hood.
Truly, life threw this poor girl some nasty stuff, but she kept pushing through to the other side. First of all, her biological mother is Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). That fact alone is enough for me to pity Willow. Thankfully, Willow did not have to endure Nina since birth, but Harmony was there to provide all the childhood trauma anyone could ever need.
From cults and losing babies, to evil sisters, and developing leukemia while pregnant, Willow’s life hasn’t been easy. Somehow, she went from a hard knock life to living in luxury as part of the Quartermaine and Corinthos families.
Evidently, Michael Corinthos was Willow’s ticket out of her own personal Hell. Does Willow truly love Michael? I’d say so. Well, that is until Drew came slithering around. (Plus the writers totally effed this up).
General Hospital spoilers tease that Michael isn’t the only one going up in flames. That’s right, Willow’s burned by Nina and Drew! Remember that Nina and Drew have been sleeping together and neither of them have bothered to tell Willow. Additionally, GH previews show that Willow takes heat from Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy)
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) Grieve
Sonny and Carly Back Together! The Penthouse explosion that could claim Michael Corinthos’s (Chad Duel) life is just business as usual for mob families. There was a time when despite being married to the mob, Carly, and even Sonny’s other women were quick to place blame on the mob boss, demanding he leave the business. Many can pretend (*cough, cough, Nina*), to know what that life is all about, but only one has been able to talk the talk and walk the walk. Of course, that’s Carly.
With every tragic event that claimed a loved one’s life, acceptance never became easier. However, these things became like second nature to the mob boss and his wife, Carly (Laura Wright). The dynamic duo had the business down to a science.
Jason, Carly, and Sonny Carly Corinthos Five Families
Will Pain And Suffering Bring Sonny And Carly Back Together?
Michael’s tragedy has calamitous implications on Port Charles. The people of the Mob, the enemies themselves, and the PCPD have their work cut out for them going forward. Things are about to change in PC as a result of Sonny’s Penthouse explosion.
According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his ex-wife Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright) may never be the same again. The cataclysm of the mob life has torn the Corinthos family apart, but somehow they know how to pull it all back together. Undeniably, Sonny and Carly are each other’s rocks, and no duo does mob and family life quite like these two.
GH rumors hint that this is the beginning of their destiny. Will Michael’s tragedy bring Sonny and Carly back together?
Carly Fights Willow And Nina For Custody! Who could forget the epic battle between Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros)?! To this day Nina still blames Carly for keeping Nelle a secret, and for her estranged relationship with Willow. But the truth is that Nina treated school teacher Willow like a pebble in her shoe from day one.
When Willow needed a shoulder to cry on, who was there? When Willow longed for a mother’s love, who was there? Certainly not Nina. Not even Harmony gave Willow the comfort she needed. But do you recall who did? Yes, it was Carly! Mama-in-law Carly has had Willow’s back when her two actual mother’s were not exactly the pictures of a maternal blessings.
General Hospital: Carly (Laura Wright) Comforts Willow (Katelyn MacMullen)
Sadly, General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that the tables have turned. It’s no longer Carly and Willow against Nina. On the contrary, the latest battle puts Carly and Willow at odds, and Willow glued to Nina’s side.
General Hospital spoilers hint that the Corinthos family tragedy changes the course of many lives. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was caught in an explosion and things will never be the same. Now, Carly must advocate for her grandchildren on behalf of her son. She fights Willow for custody while Nina funds the entire battle for Willow.
General Hospital Preempted 1-7-25! It’s an intense week on General Hospital, and there happens to be an interruption in scheduling. As lives in Port Charles are shattered intense drama erupts among some of our favorite PC residents.
General Hospital news reports confirm that GH fan’s must wait for answers to their burning questions. As Michael goes up in flames, GH fans are anxious to now if he’ll make it out alive. However, the anticipation grows as General Hospital skips an air date.
General Hospital Preempted 1-7-25
According to the latest General Hospital news and spoilers, GH will not air on Tuesday, January 7th, 2025. Instead, planned news coverage for former President Jimmy Carter’s funeral in D.C. takes over the takes the 2PM Eastern slot. As a result GH fans are forced to stew about the dramatic storyline for an extra day.
Thankfully, we can all count on General Hospital to return to its regularly scheduled air time. Be sure to tune in to ABC on Wednesday, January 8th, 2025. You will NOT want to miss an all new episode of General Hospital.
Will Michael Corinthos survive?! Previous GH news reports confirmed Chad Duell’s GH exit. However, Frank Valentini confirmed that there are no plans to recast at this time. Then, GH’s Executive Producer revealed, “There are no plans to recast his role at this time, but you never know in daytime,” on social media platform X.
