So much excitement surrounds GH star Steve Burton’s epic return. He left the show in 2021 due to the vaccine mandate. Since Burton’s exit, General Hospital fans hadn’t stopped wondering if Steve would bring Jason back to Port Charles. Then, ABC aired a 60th Anniversary Special to honor daytime’s longest running drama series.
Fans were in for a huge surprise when Steve Burton joined Kelly Monaco and Laura Wright as they dropped the bombshell. On January 4th, General Hospital news reports confirmed Steve Burton’s GH return. Immediately, fans began to question the upcoming storyline. How will General Hospital bring Jason Morgan back to Port Charles?
Recently, GH Blog shared the latest rumors surrounding Jason’s return. Be sure to check out the hints that were discovered from a 2015 post.
Of course, General Hospital spoilers and rumors are all over the place when it comes to Jason. Actually, some GH rumors even claim that Jason brings Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) home with him. In 2015 Sonny and Carly’s son Morgan was presumed dead. While no body was found, the family went on with funeral proceedings for Morgan. Today, eagle eyed GH fan, Kelly Tresnak, and a few others noticed that Bryan Craig recently pinned a past post to his Instagram. The memory post was none other than his 2016 Daytime Emmy win!
Could this mean that Bryan Craig pinned this flashback to hint at his GH return? On the other hand, Bryan may have shared the post purely for the sake of sharing fond memories. At this time anything is possible.
GH Spoilers and Rumors: Morgan Stone Corinthos Returns With Jason Morgan
Morgan Stone Corinthos. Born on October 24th, 2004, Morgan was the son of Sonny and Carly Corinthos. Sadly, he passed away as a result of mob violence and other factors which lead up to his death in 2016.
General Hospital history highlights those who had a hand in Sonny’s son’s death. First we have his ex girlfriend, Ava Jerome (Maura West). She’s the one who switched out Morgan’s bipolar medication, causing him to have manic episodes. But her sister, the now dead mobster, Olivia Jerome played a role as well. She was as the one who set the car bomb that killed Morgan in place. And that bomb was meant for none other than her own brother, Julian Jerome (William deVry).
But first, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was shot in 2015 and Morgan wanted revenge. As I was doing some digging, I found an old article that was in 2015. It pertains to when Sonny was shot and Morgan’s revenge for the shooter. But what it also mentioned was how Sonny’s shooting and Morgan’s revenge for his father’s shooter played a role in the big Jason Morgan reveal.
Morgan Stone Corinthos returns with Jason Morgan?!
Today, GH fans prepare for another big Jason Morgan reveal. Could it be that Morgan is also part of the current Jason Morgan reveal storyline? After all his middle name is STONE!
So why would Morgan want to kill Sonny? He probably doesn’t. Perhaps he was only trying to get Ava? Or maybe he’s mad because Sonny slept with Ava the night he buried his son. 🤷🏻♀️ While the motive remains unclear, these clues definitely give GH fans something to think about.
Please take a few moments to read over the article from back in 2015. Do you think history could sort of repeat itself?
General Hospital Spoilers: Jason goes by Stone as in Cold
One of the most anticipated comebacks in all of Soap Opera history is just over a week away. As previously shared, GH Blog helped spread the word about Steve Burton’s return. It was revealed that Burton’s air date is set for March 4th. Finally! It’s the return we’ve all (most) been waiting for.
Jason Morgan will soon make his way back to Port Charles after having been crushed by debris and presumed dead. Speculation has run wild since ABC’s big surprise, and GH rumors sparked excitement and debate, to say the least. As expected, GH fans erupted into almost constant discussion on social media platforms. Now that we are inching closer to the big event, a major hint was dropped in the mob war mystery.
What’s In A Name? (Honestly? So much!) The Boss Is Revealed As “Stone” As In “Cold”
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease Selina Wu (Lydia Look) and Sonny’s efforts won’t go without reward- or at least some promising insight. According to General Hospital recaps, Selina brought Sonny to where she held Lee as her prisoner. She and Sonny wanted answers, and they were willing to use whatever is necessary to get Lee to talk.
General Hospital spoilers and rumors reveal that Jason’s grand resurrection will shock Port Charles. However, this isn’t the first time that the mob enforcer has returned from the dead. We’ve been there and done that with the happy little reunions. That said, GH spoilers claim that Lee dropped a major hint when he confessed that the boss goes by Stone. Enough beating around the bush. Jason Morgan goes by STONE COLD, he’s a good shot, yes. But would he ever shoot at Sonny? Probably not. He knows Sonny’s island like the back of his hand, which makes things complicated. Could Jason have even forced to reveal the leg of the land?
Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) has disappeared. His involvement with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) earned him a one way ticket out of town.
According to General Hospital recaps Sonny Corinthos is the reason Dex came to Port Charles in the first place, and now Sonny is also the reason why Dex left. But not everything revolved around his mob boss. He made connections, established friendships, and even fell in love. Dex and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) fell fast for each other in a forbidden romance type of way.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Josslyn was left devastated when Sonny banished Dex from Port Charles. As if Joss needed another reason to loathe Sonny, he went ahead and did the unthinkable. As a result, Josslyn lost the man she loves.
GH spoilers tease that there’s a lot going on in Port Charles as Sonny works to uncover and eliminate his enemy. Up until now, Dex insight helped Sonny to navigate the threat. Now he’ll have to go it alone. According to recent General Hospital spoilers, Sonny isn’t the only one who has to go it alone.
Meanwhile, Josslyn can’t wrap her head around how and why Dex would leave without bringing her with him- or at least give her the opportunity to choose. According to recent GH spoilers and rumors, Josslyn and Sonny have something in common. She too could have to face a challenge without Dex’s inside. Let’s say the rumors are true. If Josslyn Jacks is pregnant, will Sonny find Dex and bring him home?
General Hospital Spoilers: When does Jason return to General Hospital?
Let’s just say that a Christmas miracle has given General Hospital fans their most desired wish. Undoubtedly, this past year has been a memorable, yet rough one on the GH community; cast, crew, and even fans included. A major milestone warmed our hearts in the most bittersweet way. As GH turned 60, the beloved cast and crew suffered great loss with the passing of some key players. Ultimately, the pride, love and loss created an extra special year for General Hospital and its fans.
Last month ABC’s General Hospital was celebrated with a special 60th anniversary episode. The special took place in prime time and aired on January 4th. That’s when Christmas gave us an encore. Reportedly, ABC’s GH used the big event as an opportunity to make a very special announcement. According to General Hospital news reports, Steve Burton stunned the fans with his unexpected appearance. Steve, Laura Wright, and Kelly Monaco delivered the glorious news that Steve Burton is a back! Yes, it’s true. Steve Burton returns to General Hospital as the legendary Jason Morgan.
Details surrounding Burton’s big comeback have been kept under wraps until now. According to General Hospital spoilers, Steve Burton reveals his return date. In a recent podcast with pal Bradford Anderson, Steve tells fans that he reports back to the studios next week. Apparently, Steve Burton begins filming as Jason Morgan the week of February 5th, 2024. He admits, “I don’t have an exact start date but I start next week on the show,” Burton added, “Which is awesome.”
Our prayers have been answered! Well, I know that mine have. I can’t say that I speak for all of us, but I will say that the majority of GH fans share my sentiments when it comes to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Steve Burton’s GH return is the absolute best news we’ve received in a while, especially after 2023’s devastating losses.
Despite the tragic losses, GH fans can find something to smile about. Jason Morgan’s comeback has been a bright spot for many since losing Sonya, Jackie, Billy, and Tyler. Of course there are more we’ve most, which are equally as sad. But as they say, life goes on. Thankfully many look forward to Jason’s Port Charles return, especially when it comes to his reunions. Sonny, Carly, Michael, Sam, and Spinelli, come to mind as the most impactful, along with the Quartermaines.
However, Jason and Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) reunion is what gets me out of bed in the morning. Okay, maybe that was a little dramatic. But I am a die hard JaSam fan. Let’s just say that I own Sam’s star necklace and have the same shaped star tattooed on my body.
General Hospital spoilers tease that Jason has a few love interests to choose from. Although sadly Britt is deceased, Sam and Liz are still around. But they aren’t for the taking- for now. Of course, someone new is always a possibility. Sam is currently with Drew, and Elizabeth and Dr. Finn keep giving their relationship the old college try. Nothing is guaranteed and either of those relationships could crumble.
Will Jason’s return ignite another JaSam vs. Liason fan war? Personally, I think Jason and Sam are endgame. One of my favorite things (other than the star necklace) that they share is their love for the color black. Whether it’s a black t-shirt or a black leather jacket, black is definitely Jason and Sam’s color.
Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) have been cleverly intertwined. Their undeniable chemistry and instant attraction mirrors that of something from the past.
General Hospital recaps recall how Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) understands her daughter’s reasons for helping Dex, and in turn, she was willing to help Joss help him.
General Hospital spoilers tease Joss and Dex have crossed paths to mirror the similarities between Joss and Carly. In addition, Dex and Jason are eerily similar. Fans have been calling Dex things like, “Sonny’s new Jason,” and “Jason 2.0.” Joss herself even called him, “no neck, and, “Sonny’s muscle.” That being said, we can’t help but think of a certain someone. Does Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) ring a bell? Of course! Joss and Dex are a lot like Carly and Jason. If history is going to repeat itself in its own new way, Josslyn follows in Carly’s footsteps. Joss reflecting a young Carly as Dex does Jason makes for a smart way to develop Dex’s story.
General Hospital rumors hint Dex is working for both Michael and Sonny for a reason. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) wants to take down his father Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) after he betrayed Carly with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). He secretly hired Dex to pose as Sonny’s trusted enforcer. GH rumors speculate Dex is ready and willing because he thinks Michael and Sonny both owe him something. He wants the father and family he never had and he blames Sonny for that. Dex thinks Michael is ungrateful to turn his back on his father when Dex himself never got to know his own.
Is Jason Really Dex’s Father?
General Hospital rumors and spoilers claim Dex is Jason Morgan’s son and he wants restitution for being robbed of the past. Given that Jason worked for Sonny for the majority of his life, his line of work took him away from family life. As a result, even his love life with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and their kids was severed. Ultimately, Jason chose working for Sonny over being a father.
GH rumors hint that Dex is Jason’s long lost son. Of course, with news like that comes many questions. Such as who is Dex’s mother. That’s yet to be determined, but anything is possible on soaps. He envies Michael for having a loving father to have cared for him into adulthood. Therefore, Dex resents Sonny having a family while Jason could not. Now that Jason is presumed dead, Dex will never her the chance to know his father.
Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) works undercover for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). As the son of a Port Charles mobster, Michael hired a skilled employee for his covert operation. That’s where Dex comes in. He was hired as a mole in Sonny’s organization and Michael’s mission to take down Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is underway.
General Hospital spoilers and rumors indicate that things become even more complicated for Michael. Will Dex eventually jump ship?
Will Dex Turn On Michael?
Meanwhile, Michael thinks he’s got Sonny right where he wants him as Dex works to gain Sonny’s trust. But Dex wasn’t too comfortable with what he’d done and the repercussions that potentially follow. He begged Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to spare him after she witnessed him beating Felty to a pulp. Working for Sonny isn’t a cake walk, but having to take orders from Michael doesn’t sound so appealing either. Dex didn’t come to Port Charles to be controlled.
Dex is in quite the predicament. He was hired by Michael but the two men don’t seem to be getting along. After Michael orders Dex to stay away from his sister, GH rumors suggest that’s when Dex’s loyalties begin to shift from Michael to Sonny.
